Caring was good, room very clean and nice view.
Extra help with providing better TV.
GP nurses did increase her pain meds as prescribed.
Thank you for your kind words. We are pleased to hear that your mum received high levels of care at Arbook House Care Home. We are glad to hear that you were impressed with the clean and tidy rooms and the nursing staff. Hopefully you will go away from this feeling like your loved one received the best possible care.
The food offered to the residents seems to be of good quality with a fair choice of options so I have no worry that my aunt isn’t being catered for. I am pleased she is in a safe and caring facility that balances her need for assistance in her day-to-day activities whilst affording her some privacy and dignity also. As a family we are very pleased with the care she is receiving and I know my aunt feels the same way too, though we know and understand she misses her own home deeply.
Thank you for your lovely review. We are very happy to hear you can feel at ease with your aunt in our care and you feel so welcomed while at our home. We hope you all feel like a part of our Arbrook House family. It is always nice to hear from family members feeling like their loved one is cared...
My mum was provided with an outstanding level of care at Arbrook House. Every time I visited it was clear to me that the staff genuinely cared for her well-being. The nursing care was to a high standard but it took into account Mum's wishes. I would like to say a huge thank you to every member of staff.
Thank you for taking the time to leave your review. It is always nice to hear from family members feeling like their loved one has been cared for and looked after so well. We will certainly pass your comments on to the manager.
A pleasure to visit the home.
Thank you for your feedback. It's really lovely to hear words such as "excellent" being used to describe the standard of care and attitudes of our whole team. We are looking forward to seeing you again.
When I visited Arbrook in March I was given a tour by the deputy manager I immediately felt a good atmosphere. It seemed that all the staff did several jobs, thus interacting wth all the residents. My husband moved in three weeks ago and this has proved to be the case - there is always someone to be seen or found within minutes. The grounds down to the lake are a great resource of beauty.
Thank you for your review. We are happy to hear you had such a positive impression from the start and that our staff's care has done nothing but live up too and exceed expectations. Thank you for choosing Arbrook House for your husband's stay.
I will always appreciate the kindness shown to my family especially at the time of Mum's passing.
The portal spp needs some attention. Firstly, reordering the text so latest entries are first. Secondly, the text sometimes was contradictory eg:' x had a full lunch' followed by 'x refused all lunch'.
Thank you for your review. We are saddened to hear about your loss but are pleased the staff went above and beyond to provide your mum and family support through such a difficult time. We will discuss your feedback with the home manager to help them continually improve their services.
My Mum was a long-term resident at Arbrook House. Throughout her time there she had excellent care and experienced genuine warmth from the team, friendship, and fun. As her needs changed the staff seamlessly adapted to providing the care she required, always with great kindness.
Thank you for your lovely review. We hope Arbrook House Care Home did everything possible to make the transition as easy as possible and we are pleased to hear that your mum received excellent care. Hopefully, you will go away from this feeling like your loved one received the best possible care.
There is a sense of 'welcome' when you enter the reception.
Thank you for your kind words. We are very happy to hear you can feel at ease with your loved one in our care. Thank you for choosing Arbrook House for your stay.
It is a huge comfort to me to know that my cousin, who has no other active relatives, is in a safe and caring environment, especially as I do not live within easy reach of him. All his medical needs are met on a daily basis. Most importantly, is that he is very happy there.
We appreciate you taking the time to leave us your comments. It is always nice to hear from family members feeling like their loved one is cared for and looked after. We hope to continue providing your cousin with the best possible care.
The care at Arbrook is exceptional. The staff are warm, kind and caring. The administration is efficient, and I couldn't recommend it more highly.

Arbrook House is certainly one of those:
When entering the care home, you immediately feel a deep-rooted culture of care, commitment and respect by all team members for each patient and their families. It is a very comfortable traditional home in beautiful park surroundings, extremely well managed and administered, a care home you
want to be in case of need.
My wife spent almost two months at Arbrook House following a severe stroke and hip fracture.
She recovered well and retains fond memories of her stay.

My aunt of 96 and the family are so pleased with the care and support that my uncle is receiving. He is totally bedbound but is always clean and tidy, and all care is given willingly. The staff are so friendly, and the facility is spotlessly clean and in such a beautiful setting.
Thank you for your lovely review. It is always nice to hear from family members who feel like their loved one is cared for and looked after. We hope to continue providing your uncle with the best possible care.
The most noticeable feature of the nursing home is the excellence of its staff. Nursing and care staff treated Mum with dignity, patience and care, yet would always find the time to discuss her care with me, even if I was just passing in the corridor. Admin, catering and activities staff were also warm, and friendly, creating an overall excellent caring nursing home.
Thank you for taking the time to leave your lovely review. It is always nice to hear words like “excellence” being used to describe our staff. Many thanks for the compassionate and professional care my mother has received over the past three years. Her passing was conducted with great skill and dignity, I and my brother were with her to the end.
Thank you for taking the time to leave your review. We are sorry for your loss and send our condolences. It is always nice to hear words like “compassionate” and “professional” being used to describe our care. We hope she felt like she was part of our Arbrook House family. Hopefully, you will go away from this feeling like your mother received the best possible care.
For the three years, my father lived at Arbrook House Care Home, two in palliative care, my family and I were most impressed by the dedication of all staff from whom nothing was too much trouble. They were always prepared to go the extra mile. This was never more apparent than in the distressing last few weeks of his life in April 2023. Not only did we feel he was having the best care he could possibly have in difficult circumstances but we were touched by the kindness and sympathy shown to us as well. It's a tribute to the management and all staff that our lasting impression of Arbrook House Care Home are positive ones at an otherwise sad time in our lives. Without doubt, they put the care in the term care home.

The staff are friendly and helpful. I needed exercise outdoors but due to the lack of staff, I was unable to have as much as I needed. The cost was more than they told me when I enquired if there was a place vacant.

Meet the Team (5)

I love working at Arbrook House. The team always make sure our residents are happy and feel at home. There’s plenty going on and we have strong links with the local community so feel free to pop in and speak to us anytime.

I am the Clinical Deputy Manager at Arbrook House, a role I stepped into on 8 August 2025 after joining Bupa in 2018. Since the beginning of my journey with Bupa, I have been committed to delivering high?quality, person?centred care and supporting the development of our teams.
I began my nursing career in the Philippines after completing my Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Wesleyan University. When I moved to the UK in 2002, I explored different areas of nursing, but it was within the care home sector that I truly found my calling. I was drawn to the continuity of care, the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with residents, and the ability to make a real difference in their quality of life.
My dedication to residents and colleagues was recognised early in my Bupa career. Just one year into my role, I was honoured to receive the British Empire Medal (BEM) from the late Queen Elizabeth II for my service during the COVID?19 pandemic. This recognition strengthened my passion for adult social care and inspired me to continue developing as a leader.
What I enjoy most about working in care is the privilege of making a positive difference every day. Being part of someone’s journey — especially at their most vulnerable moments — is something I truly cherish. I value the trust our residents place in us and the chance to support their families with compassion and reassurance.
Supporting my team is also a huge motivation for me. Helping others grow, guiding new nurses, and fostering a safe, positive environment gives me great fulfilment. Knowing that our care brings dignity, comfort, and joy to the people we look after gives my work deep meaning. For me, care is not just a job — it is a vocation.
I’m a proud mother of three wonderful children — Margarethe, Jericho, and Andrew — who inspire me every day. Family is central to who I am. Outside of work, I enjoy supporting Filipino organisations in the UK, taking part in cultural events, and promoting women’s empowerment, leadership development, and the growth of internationally educated nurses.
In my spare time, I love dancing, which helps me relax, express myself, and stay connected to my cultural roots. I also enjoy reading and attending professional development events that keep me inspired. Living locally in Esher allows me to stay closely connected to Arbrook House, our residents, and the team, giving me a strong sense of belonging and enabling me to support the home whenever needed.

I joined Bupa in June 2012 as a weekend receptionist at Wingham Court care home and stayed until 2017 when I was promoted to financial administrator and relocated to Arbrook House. In January 2024, I was promoted to resident experience manager and financial administrator at Arbrook House.
I enjoy working closely with residents and colleagues as well as meeting and supporting friends and families. It's fulfilling to be able to make a positive impact on their lives and create a supportive and caring environment.
Outside of work, I am very family-oriented and enjoy spending time with my loved ones. In my free time, I enjoy outdoor activities such as walking and meeting my friends for a catch-up. I also enjoy cooking different dishes for my family. I live locally and I appreciate the close-knit community and the opportunity to be involved in local events and initiatives.

I joined Bupa on 30th March and have been working as an Activities Coordinator since then. Although I am relatively new to the role, I have quickly developed a strong passion for creating meaningful and engaging experiences for residents.
Before entering the care sector, I worked primarily in trade and warehouse roles. However, during the COVID-19 pandemic, work in those industries became limited, prompting me to explore new opportunities. This led me to take on a role as a Healthcare Assistant, where I discovered a genuine interest and passion for supporting others. That experience inspired me to continue developing my career in care, ultimately progressing into my current role as an Activities Coordinator. I find the work incredibly rewarding and take great pride in contributing to residents’ wellbeing and quality of life.
The most fulfilling aspect of my role is knowing that I can make a positive difference to someone’s day. Whether through organising activities, providing companionship, or simply sharing a conversation, I value the opportunity to bring joy, comfort, and engagement to residents.
I live locally to the home and feel proud to be part of the Arbrook team, which I believe is one of the best care homes in the area. Outside of work, I have a strong passion for wildlife, nature, and photography. I enjoy spending my free time capturing landscapes and wildlife through photography, as well as staying active with hobbies such as boxing, hiking, wild camping, and exploring new places. I also enjoy learning new skills and continuously challenging myself both personally and professionally.

I am a registered general nurse and also a finance administrator.
I started working as a registered nurse for Arbrook House in January 2016 and have just celebrated my 10-year service with Bupa.
I am in my second year working as a finance administrator at Arbrook House.
I moved to the UK from the Philippines in 2009 and began my career in the care sector as a student, and began working as a care assistant. My experience in the care home sector inspired me to pursue professional registration as a nurse, allowing me to combine my nursing qualifications with hands-on health care experience.
In 2012, I became a registered nurse, and in 2015, I completed an MSc in Nursing and Healthcare at the University of West London. In 2016, I started working at Arbrook House as a nurse, and I have continued to grow professionally within the organisation ever since.
I am grateful to Arbrook House for the ongoing support and opportunities that have enabled me to develop my career and contribute meaningfully as a member of the healthcare team.
What I enjoy most is being able to use my skills and experiences to deliver the care and support that enables residents to meet their daily living needs. I also find it rewarding to support and work alongside colleagues, helping them to be effective and confident members of the care team.
Outside of work, I value spending time with my family and friends. Although my family is based in the Philippines, I am grateful for technology, which allows me to stay closely connected with them despite the distance. I also enjoy spending time with friends and relaxing at home, particularly watching films, which helps me unwind and reflect. I live locally to Arbrook House, and being part of the local community enables me to build strong connections with the people we support.
