My Mother has been a resident of Knights Grove for nearly 4 years during which time she has been very happy and well looked after by the staff who greet her with a smile and her face lights up with pleasure at seeing them. They are genuinely pleased to see her and often sit with her to keep her company. They recognise that she used to like being dressed stylishly and although she can no longer recognise properly what she is wearing, they always try to achieve matching outfits complete with earrings and necklaces which, although she is not aware, we are very grateful. She is now bed chair bound but the staff are very compassionate and ensure that, where possible, she can participate in the many activities on offer and enjoy the local entertainment where she can participate. We are very grateful for the kind caring manner shown to our Mother and can relax between our visits knowing that she is receiving excellent care. Thank you Knights Grove.
Thank you for your lovely review. We are so glad to hear that your Mother is happy and safe at Knight's Grove Care Home and knowing that you feel reassured about your loved one's care is the best feedback we can receive. Please let us know if there is anything we can do to make your Mother's stay as comfortable as possible.
My mother has been living at Knights' Grove for four years and she loves it, the staff are so caring nothing is to much trouble. You can tell by mums face when a member of staff comes into the room her face lights up. Mum always looks nice and she has her hair set every week, the food they serve is excellent, mum needs to be spoon fed and they take their time in feeding her to make sure she has enough,. Mum can get quite agitated sometimes and they came and sit with her; they also do a lot of social activities.
We're so grateful that you've taken the time to share your thoughts. It is so wonderful to hear that your Mother is being well looked after and cared for. Providing peace of mind for families is one of our top priorities, so your words mean a lot. We're committed to continuing to support you and your family in every way we can.
I can't recommend this care home enough. My aunt has been a resident for 18 months and has had the most fantastic care. Staff are all so wonderful. They are caring, friendly and professional not just to residents but their families too. I have just taken a 2wk holiday (something I haven't done for many years, having been caring for my aunt) because I felt confident she would be happy and cared for in my absence. Daily updates on social media have meant I can see her enjoying herself whilst I'm away. It really is a 2nd family.
Your review means a great deal to our team and we're so grateful you shared your experience. It is fantastic to hear you find the team to be attentive and caring- they'll be thrilled to read your review. It's reassuring to hear that our approach to care has brought you and your family peace of mind. We will certainly pass your comments on to the manager.
Mum's room was fine and she received her daily paper, as had been her habit before taking up residence here.
Being brought into the community space was helpful.
Birthdays and other milestones, such as Remembrance Sunday and the like were celebrated
We really appreciate you taking the time to leave us your review at this time. We are sorry for your loss but hope that knowing your Mum was well cared for with us At Knights Grove is of comfort to you now.
Mum has been very well looked after by staff. They have updated us and looked after my dad really well too. Nurses have been good as has manager of the home. Staff are gentle with my mother and trying to assist where possible to help her eat and drink.
My mother has been living at Knights Grove for almost 2 years, since moving in she has been looked after with the utmost kindness and respect. The nursing and care staff treat her with dignity and humour and the lovely activities ladies ensure that she is entertained and stimulated. There is a great range of activities to cater for all the residents needs, including day trips out. I live overseas and it was a huge decision to choose a home but I honestly could not be happier with my decision. I visit as often as distance allows and am always welcomed and I talk regularly to my mother who is happier than she has been for some time. The home is clean and well run with excellent meals. Knights Grove is a wonderful care home with incredible staff who show love and care towards the residents, I cannot recommend it highly enough.
Thank you for your kind words. Your review means a great deal to our team and we're so grateful you shared your experience. It is always a difficult process when deciding to find a care home for our loved ones but we are so glad to hear that your experience has been a positive one. Hearing that our...
The outpouring of care and compassion for my mum in law and ourselves as a family has been wonderful. She has been treated with dignity, assisted with eating, we have been listened too and the rooms are lovely, the home smells lovely and clean too. Wonderful calm setting following on from weeks in hospital environment.
Thank you for your comments. It is always nice to hear from family members that they have been reassured at such a difficult time. We are pleased to hear that your mother-in-law has settled in comfortably with us at Knight's Grove. Please don't hesitate to reach out if there is anything more we can do.
My wife was a resident at Knights Grove for the last months of her life. She had advanced stages of Parkinson's, When she moved into the home, she was particularly weak as she was recovering from being treated for Empyema in hospital.
The decision to move her to a care home was not easy, but a I am pleased that I chose Knights Grove. The kindness, care, compassion and encouragement that she was given by all of the staff was exceptional. After a few weeks she regained some strength and, with the homes help and encouragement, I was able to take her out for car trips to local gardens and to the coast.
I also fully appreciate the support that my family and I have been given by all of the staff, We were always well informed & met with a friendly greeting,
I am particularly grateful for the way that the home handled her passing. I will always remember the compassion & respect shown to my wife, myself and my family by all of the staff.Thank you all at Knights Grove

We're so glad that the warmth and kindness of our staff have come through in your experience. Please accept our sincere condolences for your loss. We will certainly pass your comments on to the manager.
I appreciate that all the staff know us by name and no matter how busy they are they always have a smile and time to check in on how we are.
I have been gifted a second chance to be my parents daughter not their exhausted carer.
Thank you for taking the time to leave your kind words. We are very happy to hear you can feel at ease with your parents in our care. We hope Knights Grove care home did everything possible to make the transition as easy as possible. It is always nice to hear words like "...all the staff are...
The dedication, care and love shown by all the care staff over the last 3 years has been quite outstanding. As mum entered her final few months the care and love reached even higher levels, nothing was to much trouble. Every effort was made to make her passing as comfortable and peaceful as possible I am in total awe of these people.
Thank you for your kind words. We are saddened to hear about your loss and we are glad that the home helped you and your family through such a difficult time. It is always nice to hear words like "Dedication" and "Love" being used to describe our Staff. Hopefully you will go away from this feeling like your Mum received the best possible care.
My dad has been in this home for about 8 years. He has Lewy Bodies dementia and we did not expect him to still be with us after this length of time. Thanks to the wonderful staff at Knights' Grove Care Home, not only are we lucky enough to still have him in our lives but he is in wonderful health despite the dementia and is very happy. We can never thank the staff enough for their dutiful and caring work. Thank you.
Thank you for your lovely review. It is always nice to hear from family members feeling like their loved one is cared for and looked after. We hope to continue providing your loved one with the best possible care.
We all agreed once the Covid restrictions were lifted that we didn't want to move her closer to home.
My mother had advanced dementia, and the care she received was excellent at all times. The staff were kind, caring, compassionate, and also sensitive to us as a family.
Thank you to all the staff involved in her care, you are all amazing.
Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. We would like to offer our condolences for the passing of your mother and send best wishes to you during this difficult time. We are pleased to hear that the care she received was excellent and that the staff were so kind and caring.
My son was moved to Knight's Grove from a care home in Wales earlier this year and the change in him is amazing! He is much happier and more settled than I could have hoped. His room is comfortable and clean, (despite his clutter, he's his mother's son!) He is surrounded by familiar things and really feels at home. Thank you to all the wonderful staff who look after him and all the other residents, always cheerful and friendly! You do them all proud!
Thank you for your lovely review. We are pleased to hear you've seen such a positive change in your Son due to the dedication and attentive nature of our care home staff. We hope to continue providing your loved one with the best possible care and please do let us know if there is anything else we can do to make his stay as comfortable as possible.
From first contacting one staff, then being looked after by another, this experience has exceeded my expectations. Organising my mum's care from abroad was a task made so much simpler by the care and attention of all at Knight's Grove. From landing in the UK on Thursday, paperwork and introduction on Friday to Mum's stay starting on Monday, the move was seamless. I cannot thank the staff enough for their attention to detail and to the care of my mum. Mum, is so happy, she settled in straight away with the care, love and attention she received from everyone, the meals are amazing and she especially loves the homemade cakes and biscuits! They have live music performers and all the residents enjoy a varied activities calendar. As a personal note, it was my birthday on my mum's second day, the staff organised a birthday cake, a special tea, and a card from my mum, truly thoughtful and brought me to tears as my mum was so happy at this. It is this thought of detail that makes this care home stand above others.
Hello and thank you for leaving such a positive review for the staff at Knight's Grove Care Home. We are thrilled to hear the experience has exceeded your expectations and that the home went above and beyond to make it seamless. We are so pleased that Mum is now settled within the home and that she...
Residential care homes would not accept her because of her lack of mobility. I contacted and visited Knights Grove and was impressed by the cleanliness, lightness, and friendliness of the home and the efficiency of the staff.
My wife moved in and has been well looked after and is comfortable and safe.
This has taken the worry and strain from my life and I am now able to visit her as her husband, not her carer.
They are well equipped and trained to deal with dementia patients and I recommend them.
Thank you, KG.
Thank you for your kind words. It is always nice to hear words like "friendliness" and "efficiency" being used to describe our care. We hope to continue providing your loved one with the best possible care.
After a very poor experience in a care home in Chandlers Ford, a subsequent stay in hospital in Winchester, my brother and I moved our elderly sister who has dementia, to Knights Grove. After a week, we knew she was in good hands. The rooms are spacious and modern and the staff are all dementia-trained. Even more importantly, they are genuinely caring. We visit her on a regular basis but know she is well cared for when we are away. Thank you KG.
We appreciate you taking the time to leave us your lovely comments. We hope Knight's Grove Care Home did everything possible to make the transition as easy as possible. It is great to hear that you are impressed with the comfortable rooms and high standards of care provided by our highly trained...
Since my father has moved, he has gone from strength to strength. He is so much happier, involves himself in every activity and above all else looks so much healthier.
Dad's personal space has been made very comfortable for him, with all his belongings and personal touches he feels very at home. The home is always very flexible with how we can make changes and work together for Dad's comfort.
The staff are all angels, they are so accommodating and work so hard for all of their resident's care. They are not just support for the residents but go the extra mile to support the family too.
I get lost for words of how much I am grateful for the team. Just thank you, Knights Grove, you have made a difference that I never thought was possible.
Thank you for taking the time to leave us your lovely review. We are glad to help you and your family through such a difficult time and it is wonderful to hear that you can feel at ease, knowing that your father is receiving high-quality care. We are pleased to hear that your father feels like part...
I also give my thanks to everyone at Knights' Grove for making her welcome.

Please let us know if there is anything else we can do to make her stay as comfortable as possible.
He has resided here for over four years and I have been welcomed and supported, as a family member, throughout this journey.
I would like to add, the carers are outstanding.
I would recommend Knights' Grove to any person facing and dealing with dementia.
Thank you Knights' Grove.
Thank you for your kind words. We are so happy to hear you feel like a part of our Knights' Grove family and we hope to continue providing your husband with the best possible care. We will certainly pass on your comments to the home's manager.
It is a modern, purpose-built home with nice, light rooms in a quiet location.
The staff are all absolutely amazing, so caring, patient and understanding of the needs and care of the resident.
I would thoroughly recommend Knights' Grove Care Home if you are looking for residential dementia care for your loved one.
