Knights' Grove Care Home

Excellent staff and the manager is the best we've had. One nurse, in particular, is very good, always has time for Mum. The home is very clean and Mum is very happy here. Very good rules during COVID and safety measures.

Mum is really happy and being looked after by fantastic staff. The home is beautiful and they are very welcoming. Mum receives excellent care and carers are so patient with mum. A nurse and the manager are brilliant. The receptionist is so helpful and great. All carers are lovely and so good with mum.

Great care home, everyone I have met so far is so passionate about what they do and they provide a great service. It is a massive comfort to know your loved ones are in their care.

My Mum was at Knights' Grove for a very long time as she had complex care needs and early onset Dementia. Over the years I was visiting, firstly with my Dad, then on my own, I witnessed nothing but cheerful good humour, care and compassion towards my Mum. My Dad was on oxygen and himself very frail but they treated him with love, care and understanding as he was very distressed by Mum's condition. Over the past 18 months of the Pandemic, they risked their lives to look after and keep the residents safe. I am truly grateful and humble. Thank you.

The home always kept me informed of how my loved one was doing, very well cared for. Very helpful and lovely staff. I wanted to say thank you to the staff for all the lovely care given to my loved one, giving them a sweet treat and a thank you card to remind them of us.

This past year I have not seen my friend due to COVID and because my friend is blind and hard of hearing, it was not possible to be in touch. The carers have been great. Giving me time on the telephone to talk about my friend's well-being. I am satisfied that they have given excellent care and kept my friend safe.

I can't fault this home at all. Staff are friendly and extremely helpful. Nothing is too much trouble! Mum's room is bright and homely. The care given is excellent. Very happy with Knights Grove!

Always welcoming and helpful on arrival and the care staff are happy to answer questions about my Dad. The home smells fresh and clean throughout and I have never visited Dad without him being well presented despite his condition. Thank you for allowing me to see him today after so long.

My mother has been a resident of Knightsgrove for over 6 years and although her condition has worsened, the continued care and kindness shown to her has been exceptional. Staff cannot be praised highly enough, always having the time to talk to residents relatives and to keep them informed of any relevant concerns. The covid pandemic has also highlighted the importance of keeping loved ones safe and well. I feel the home has done this exceedingly well with the safety of residents being paramount. I would highly recommend this care home to anybody looking for a safe and happy home for a loved one.

When his condition changed I was called in given a Covid test and wearing PPE I was able to say my goodbyes in a calm and lovely room with all the support I needed. I thank them.

My mother was a resident at Knights Grove from October 2019 until she passed away in January 2021. Throughout her stay, she received the highest level of care from all the staff, not only managing her vascular dementia with skill and diplomacy but also meeting her complicated medical care too. The same team looked after her throughout her stay meaning she had continuity of care and she had a wonderful relationship with her carers. She told me often how well she was looked after and she felt safe in their care which was very important to me. There is a lovely family-like atmosphere within the home. During visiting restrictions required by covid 19, the staff organised regular video calls and communication regarding my mother's care and condition were first class. At all times I knew my mother was being treated with care and dignity and have no hesitation in recommending this wonderful care home to others needing residential care for their loved ones.

A new manager has brought vibrancy and direction to the home. All in all, I am extremely happy to recommend Knights Grove!

Had a really special visit to Knights Grove Care Home today. After passing a Covid test, I was able to go into visit my mum in her room! I can't praise the staff enough for how well they handle the whole process. All PPE, social distanced, one way systems etc in place to make sure everything is as safe as possible. The test procedure was quick, and the result only takes 30 minutes, and then I was able to visit mum, still with a face mask, but it was really lovely too, at last, to be in the same room. It was fantastic to see her being so well cared for. Thanks to all involved.

Lovely friendly staff, very happy with the care my grandfather is receiving and how they are communicating with the family during this lockdown period. My grandfather seems very happy there. Fantastic care home.

My mother would appear to have received superb care (given her severe confusion due to her Alzheimer's). During this extremely worrying lockdown period, staff have kept me fully informed, supplied images and it would seem Mum has received the sympathetic one-to-one care that she requires. I cannot speak highly enough of one member of staff in particular. His regular updates and kind reassurance is very well received. My overall rating is excellent. Thank you.

The staff are generally kind, caring and helpful. The building itself is modern and well decorated. My father's room is a little cramped and sometimes not as clean as I would wish. Sometimes gloves, aprons etc left on the floor, surfaces sticky and toilet seat stained. Generally happy with the overall care he receives at Knight's Grove and on the whole, I would recommend it.

My nan seems to have settled here nicely and is very happy. The staff are very friendly and welcoming.

My mother is treated with great kindness. The staff are friendly towards me. There is an excellent range of activities.

The staff have been very caring towards my mother especially as her behaviour, due to dementia, is declining. I feel that she is in very good hands and even though it is sad to see her like this, I know the staff are doing all they can to provide her with a quality of life.

My relation is treated with care and dignity. The staff keep me informed of her progress if she is ill. The rooms are bright and cheerful and the staff are friendly.
