Mums 99th birthday on may 20th was made extra special due to a member of the entertainment team who covered the weather prediction for rain and or heat. I the outcome was indoor family room decorated beautifully with photos, lites banners e,t.c x. It was a lovely day my family were so happy especially mums baby sister (90 years old).she mentions the day and is her favourite memory. We couldn't have wished for a better party!also recent concerts in the garden are so nice for everyone. Extra touches like strawberries and cream themes really add to the fun. Not a word in the dictionary can express our gratitude.not forgetting all the staff trying to keep residents cool and well during this heatwave.thankyou from her 2 daughters and family

I witnessed a magical and caring interaction between a distressed resident and the maintenance man. He sat beside the bed and calmly talked to the resident and held his hand. He stayed a while until the resident calmed down.it was a genuine gesture as he interacts with everybody, including us visitors. Nothing is too much trouble. What a great staff team u have, thank you

Our very grateful thanks to all the staff at Wilton Manor, from reception, nursing, carers, activities, housekeeping and maintenance. Everyone was so very kind to Brian who was a resident for almost three years. Nothing was too much trouble and the care he was given was outstanding. Going into Wilton Manor feels like a family. I would like to praise the manager and her team of amazing professional staff for the beautiful garden which has been created for the residents to enjoy. For the last few days I have been privileged to take my husband down in the garden to enjoy the tranquility and beautiful trees and plant's,.many of which are sensory plants.Coffee and biscuits are enjoyed under the beige umbrellas and really comfortable chairs and sofas a place also where residents can perhaps have a quiet moment of reflection.I consider myself so fortunate that my husband is residing at Wilton Manor, the standard of care is exceptional and the staff are all approachable so if you do have any concerns they can be addressed.Thank you to each and every one of you for the love and care you give each resident.

My husband came to Wilton Manor after a long stay in hospital where his care was barely adequate in my opinion. Since being at WM he is mych improved, his weight is better, he is more often alert and responsive and he can feed and drink with a little support. He has dementia and so there are good and bad days. When he was in hospital there were only bad and worse days. He gets good care and he loves Lucy and Laura almost as much as his cuddly toys.

My mother has been in Witton Manor just short of 3 years. During her stay, she has settled in well and is much calmer. She is always clean and well dressed, her medications are given on time, and food and drinks are regular and often. All in all, I am very happy with her care.

A week after my mother moved into Wilton Manor she said "When I arrived I felt worthless and afraid unable to do anything for myself. The staff are so kind and friendly. They encourage me to do things for myself. I feel confident even powerful always to ask if I need something. I sit with others at lunch and no long have to be fed. The food is lovely I am not scared to eat because it's a special diet and I don't feel unwell after eating. The residents are friendly and chat with me. For the first time in ages I feel like part of the community and not isolated." My mothers journey has been difficult she is SSI and has dementia and heart issues, mostly importantly she is still a person with feelings. Thank you so much Wilton Manor for recognising this!

The care my mother has received as she nears the end of her life has been excellent. The support I and my siblings have also received has been outstanding and welcomed by all, especially from the home manager, deputy manager, ground floor unit manager and from the activities co-ordinator who has provided little personal touches toward my mothers comfort has been especially touching. These staff members are as asset to your organisation who go above and beyond for my mother and us.

We'd like to share our heartfelt gratitude for the team at Wilton Manor, who have looked after our 90-year-old mother with dementia with genuine care and respect. From the beginning, the atmosphere has felt open and positive, full of warmth, smiles, and a real sense of friendship and engagement between staff and residents.

The staff are always willing to keep us updated on Mum's wellbeing, which gives us great peace of mind. Whether it's a small change in her routine or a moment of joy she's experienced, they're happy to share, and it means a lot to us as a family. One of the things we value most is the flexibility around visiting. With different family members juggling work and other commitments, it's been a relief to know we can visit and stay a while and we are always made to feel welcome. The management and care team have created a space where our family and our Mum is able to feel content, relaxed and truly cared for. We're grateful to everyone there.

It is reassuring for me and my siblings to know that Mum is safe, comfortable and being cared for by kind, patient and respectful people. The staff are first class and we can't praise them enough. The home is well-run, kept clean and tidy and feels warm and welcoming.

My only concern is the steady increase in fees, which have risen by 26% in the 2 1/2 years Mum has been a resident.

My mum has been in the care home for several years.
She has been and still is well cared for with compassion, dignity and excellent care from the staff. There are a few carers who go over and above when looking after Mum. Mum is happy, content and looks upon the care home as her home.

She is safe, happy, treated well, stimulated and treated as a human being; who matters.
