Wilton Manor Care Home

My husband has been in Wilton Manor for 9 weeks. I have been very happy with his care. He always looks clean and tidy and the staff we have had contact with via phone and thorough the window mist helpful. Sorry I cannot answer some of the questions as I haven't been in the home hopefully Christmas. Thank you for all you are doing for him.

It is a worrying and stressful time when you put a loved one into care but I have nothing but the highest praise for all of the carers, management and staff at Wilton Manor. Their primary concern is always the welfare of the residents and families and they are always ready to discuss any concerns you may have.

Mum was in the home for the past 6 years. From when she first arrived the staff treated her with respect and helped her in every way possible. Her room was always kept very clean, along with the way of dressing her, hair, nails etc. If she was unwell they always kept me informed and I felt no worries about her care. Mum enjoyed the activities put on by the home and was very happy there.

My husband has been a resident for 15 months. After some initial difficulties, he has now settled well and seems happy. The staff have been exceptionally kind and patient. They carefully accommodated him in his trying moments and have not expected him to conform to a daily programme, instead, he has been encouraged and helped and they have made a big difference to his general wellbeing. He is always dressed smartly in clean clothes and is well cared for in every way.

Always answer my questions. Could not be more helpful, especially during these difficult times.

My mother is 98 and although suffering from dementia, has communication by singing and laughing, and I must say she loves her carers! I am always expressing my views about Wilton Manor to people I meet and tell them it is outstanding.

Mum was at Wilton Manor for five years. She thrived there and was always happy to join in with the many activities. We were confident she was in caring, capable hands.

I cannot fault the nursing care my 95-year-old mother has received. A pressure sore acquired during a lengthy hospital stay was cured swiftly by the dedicated team at Wilton Manor who, I've noticed during frequent visits at different times of day, always manage to be kind and cheerful, often in trying circumstances. Dementia patients can be demanding but I cannot begin to describe the sense of relief I feel, knowing how well my mother is being cared for. I'm deeply grateful. Even the front of house team deserves an award for always managing a cheery greeting. Thank you all.

Mum is treated with the utmost care and respect. All the staff are considerate to her needs. They are approachable and are willing to offer support and advice. I feel mum is in a safe and well-managed home. I trust them completely.

Over the past six months, the cleanliness of Mum's room has improved enormously. I think the staff do a tremendous job, given the restraints in numbers.

Always find a friendly welcome. My uncle is cared for very well and always looks smart. He is very happy.

Very impressed. Nothing is too much trouble, always there happy to help me and my grandmother. Lovely food, clean and everything you would want from a home looking after your loved one.

They are generous with their time and seem to possess an enormous amount of patience and cheerful disposition.

Happy that my mother is cared for with consideration and the care she deserves. Her health has been steady and level whilst her needs for attention also appear good. Occasionally though personal attention to dress and hair can be lacking.

I cannot speak highly enough of the care my mother receives at Wilton Manor Care Home. She is well looked after by the staff who all call her by her name and go out of their way to interact with her despite her being non-communicative. Her needs are regularly reviewed and any changes implemented. The facilities at the home are modern and well maintained and include a residents' lounge, garden and an ensuite bedroom. The staff are always happy to deal with my enquiries or to ring me with any concerns. My mother has had to be hospitalised twice this year and each time the situation has been dealt with swiftly and professionally. There are always plenty of activities available to residents and visitors which clearly bring pleasure to all concerned.

I was very impressed with the friendly care given to our friend. He was treated with respect and affection. His room was cheerful and clean and he obviously felt at home.

Staff are friendly and very helpful, the facilities are clean. A good selection of food.
