Wilton Manor provides person-centred care for people living with dementia, including residential and nursing care. This purpose-built home has dementia champions who work to improve the quality of life for residents through daily activities and opportunities for reminiscence and stimulation.

Wilton Manor has been awarded a ‘good’ rating by the Care Quality Commission following an unannounced inspection and an 'outstanding' in effective (March 2019).

The home is completely accessible both inside and out, with a lift inside the home and wheelchair friendly paths throughout the garden. This purpose-built facility has attractive bedrooms, all en-suite, and a 24-hour call system so that residents can live with confidence and reassurance safely.

Wilton Manor’s chef is determined to meet all tastes and nutritional needs, reflected in the healthy and varied menu on offer.

Group activities are enjoyed by residents such as flower arranging and arts and crafts as well as regular visits from Pets as Therapy dogs. Individuals are encouraged by the home’s activity coordinator to pursue their own hobbies and interests.

Well cared for with very clean and well-decorated rooms and a very nice friendly and personal approach to looking after people suffering from dementia. The staff are well trained and keep the family fully informed with regards to my Mum's needs and healthcare. Although my Mum is unable to partake in
the activities, it would appear that there are some activities opening up after covid for the residents to join in. I am impressed with mum's care.

Since my husband has been in Wilton Manor Care Home. I have been impressed with every aspect of his care. The staff are amazing for their patience and every staff member, nurses, carers, kitchen staff, cleaners, admin, housekeeper and office management are bright and helpful. It gives me some comfort
in difficult circumstances being parted from my husband of 65 years.

We as a family have found the care that mum has received as exemplary when she arrived there she was losing weight and stayed in bed, yet now she is eating better and has become very much more mobile with or without her Zimmer frame!! Mum is always pleased to see us, and we have nothing but praise for
the staff at Wilton for taking such very good care of mum.

My husband is a resident and my experience with his care is amazing. I couldn't look after him as well. Over the past year, it must have been awful for staff, their dedication to residents and their families. Hoping to be able to visit my husband soon.

The team at Wilton Manor are great and can't do enough for me and the family of a resident. It has been a difficult year with the pandemic, but they have kept us up to date and aware of how my father is in the home.

My mother has been in Wilton Manor since October 2020 and I must say, I am very pleased with the home and staff. Due to covid, I am unable to see the inside of the home, but I cannot believe it would be any different than the photos. It looks and feels, like a well-managed home. The staff are very friendly
and helpful. My mother seems very happy and if she is happy, I am happy. Well impressed, so thank you, Wilton Manor.

They do everything they can, introducing activities to engage with all the residents. When speaking with the staff, they are very compassionate. They have sent me photographs when I have made the request, which is important for me when I cannot visit. They are very friendly when I call and give me an

We live in Canada and our mum lives in England. Because of a house flood, our mum suddenly found herself homeless. Wilton Manor were fantastic at finding her a space and making her feel so very welcome and safe. During these very challenging Covid times, it was a huge comfort to us that our mum was
safe and being looked after by all the amazing staff at Wilton Manor. Sadly, our mum did end up contracting Covid and we are extremely glad to tell you that she survived and we give full credit to the round-the-clock care that she received. The staff included us, every step of the way, with video calls and emails and we are so pleased. Our mum has made many friends in the home and has decided to stay, which is again, a huge relief to us. We know she is safe and cared for. Thank you Wilton Manor Care Home.

My husband has been in Wilton Manor for 9 weeks. I have been very happy with his care. He always looks clean and tidy and the staff we have had contact with via phone and thorough the window mist helpful. Sorry I cannot answer some of the questions as I haven't been in the home hopefully Christmas.

Mum was in the home for the past 6 years. From when she first arrived the staff treated her with respect and helped her in every way possible. Her room was always kept very clean, along with the way of dressing her, hair, nails etc. If she was unwell they always kept me informed and I felt no worries
about her care. Mum enjoyed the activities put on by the home and was very happy there.

My husband has been a resident for 15 months. After some initial difficulties, he has now settled well and seems happy. The staff have been exceptionally kind and patient. They carefully accommodated him in his trying moments and have not expected him to conform to a daily programme, instead, he has
been encouraged and helped and they have made a big difference to his general wellbeing. He is always dressed smartly in clean clothes and is well cared for in every way.

This home is excellent and I know my husband is well cared for there.
During the last few months, all the staff and management have been exceptional in the care and safety they have shown to the residents and their families. They have worked so hard to keep everyone safe. I can only praise them, they
have all put their lives on the line.

Firstly, may I say the dedication by the staff to residents is outstanding. I must compliment the HR side who interview as staff are so good and polite.
My mother is 98 and although suffering from dementia, has communication by singing and laughing, and I must say she loves her carers! I am always

I cannot fault the nursing care my 95-year-old mother has received. A pressure sore acquired during a lengthy hospital stay was cured swiftly by the dedicated team at Wilton Manor who, I've noticed during frequent visits at different times of day, always manage to be kind and cheerful, often in trying
circumstances. Dementia patients can be demanding but I cannot begin to describe the sense of relief I feel, knowing how well my mother is being cared for. I'm deeply grateful. Even the front of house team deserves an award for always managing a cheery greeting. Thank you all.

I have been working for Bupa for 14 years. I started out as a student nurse at Wilton Manor after moving over from Saudi and I progressed to a Senior Nurse and I'm now the Clinical Deputy Manager. My previous roles were working in hospitals, so moving to care homes was quite a change and I have never looked back! I love Interacting with the residents and get such fulfilment in providing outstanding care.

I have been working for Bupa for 7 years. Born and bred in Southampton, I am a family man and enjoy spending time with my children, cycling, arranging fishing trips for our residents and hearing all about their life stories. I have worked for 17 years in the catering business across hotels and pubs, but moved to Wilton Manor as I wanted to support those in care to have food they love and enjoy. Here I enjoy working with fresh ingredients to make fresh food for the residents to make a varied menu for everyone to enjoy.
