Our very grateful thanks to all the staff at Wilton Manor, from reception, nursing, carers, activities, housekeeping and maintenance. Everyone was so very kind to Brian who was a resident for almost three years. Nothing was too much trouble and the care he was given was outstanding. Going into Wilton
Manor feels like a family. The gardens have been recently had a make over and are now a lovely outside space for the residents.

Hazelmere House Care Home

from Lorraine P (Daughter of Resident) published on 15 May 2026
Submitted via Website • Report
Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5
Knowing my mum had to be placed into care was an emotional time for us, but we were immediately put at ease by both the managers and the carers. It's clear that everyone is genuinely passionate about their roles and the care they provide.

All staff are employed directly by the company rather than

through agency staffing, which ensures continuity of care and helps residents feel safe and secure. In terms of medical support, staff respond promptly if anyone becomes unwell, and they are well supported by the Surgery, who also visit every Tuesday.

The food is excellent, with a strong focus on providing proper nutrition for all residents. From the office team to the carers, housekeeping, and activities staff, everyone is exceptional. I would highly recommend this care home to anyone.

Reply from Alison Horridge, Customer Advisor on behalf of the team at Hazelmere House Care HomeThank you for your lovely review. We are happy that we were able to help support both you and your Mum through this transition. It is always nice to hear from family members feeling like their loved one is well cared for in our home. Overall Experience 3.0 out of 5
We have enjoyed our 2 weeks respite in the care home - the staff are hard working and have been very caring. We shall miss them. I have been in room 36 which had one electric plug and had to bring extension cable for devices. The room has been cleaned once in 2 weeks. The bedside light very dim - difficult
to read in bed! On the whole every effort has been made to make our stay very pleasant.
Reply from Alison Horridge, Customer Advisor on behalf of the team at Trowbridge Oaks Care HomeThank you for your review. I cannot praise AH highly enough. Above and beyond the glories of the physical environment, what is truly astonishing is the atmosphere in the place. The staff members are, without exception, friendly caring, engaged, eager to help, and quite evidently, happy to be working there. My wife had a career
as a physio in care home and I visited many as a doctor, and both of us are massively impressed. Thank you so much.

Elmwood Care Home

from J W (Son of Resident) published on 14 May 2026
Submitted via Website • Report
Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5
My mother came into Elmwood Care Home in mid April , after a three month stay in hospital. She is gradually settling in well, and we are hoping in time that she will socialise more with the other residents.
The manager, deputy manager and in fact all the staff have been extremely approachable and informative
and helpful.
The care home is well run, and care and concern for the residents is clear to see.
There is a nice garden to enjoy, and my mother is enjoying the food. Nothing seems too much trouble. We feel reassured that she is being so cared for.

My son has been a resident at Beacher Hall for nearly two years. His needs are complex and the nursing staff tend to his requirements exceptionally well. The activities team work very hard in arranging a variety of activities which everyone enjoys. Thanks too to the Physiotherapy Team for the
help and encouragement they give my son.
I should also.like to mention and thank the Maintenance Team who have recently reorganised his room and which now looks so homely.
A big thank you too for the courtesy and consideration shown to me by all the members of staff at Beacher Hall

My sister in law Helena is a resident here. My son and myself visited from Ireland end of Mach. Well what an amazing care home. Helena is so happy there. The staff are amazing from Manager Sammy to her assistant, Sammy and all the staff, Liam etc. What an amazing group of people that look after everyone
who is a resident there. 100% plus to all. Knowing how Helena is cared for makes a big difference to our family. Thank you all.

My mother went to Hatfield Peverel Lodge Care Home on 2/2/26 and sadly passed away peacefully on 12/4/26. At all times, the management and all staff were caring and helpful to both mum and me. They cared for mum with dignity right to the end. Her last day was so peaceful. I'd like to thank everyone
at Hatfield Peverel for their total empathy and care for Mum in her last days.

My father went into sunnyview for some respite for 7-8weeks and we couldn't of wished for anything better, ALL staff was welcoming and friendly nothing was too much trouble, various activities for the residents to join in, rooms are beautiful as are the gardens, would definitely recommend and use this
if ever needed again.

I would like to thank everyone at Southlands for the excellent and compassionate care they provided to my aunt since January, especially nurse Hannah and Savina, but also all the other nurses, care staff and supporting staff who helped keep her safe and as happy as possible during her last few months.
My sister and I were very happy with our choice of Southlands, with its pleasant environment, good service and person centred care; it's a well organised home and I would recommend their services to anyone.

The Goldbridge Care Home

My aunt and uncle were visiting. Yet again the team at the Goldbridge provided a lovely sandwich lunch and a beautiful, very tasty cake for our family. Just this small thing makes it so much easier for us to spend quality time with Mum. There was lots of laughter and we were asked what we were celebrating?
The answer was the opportunity to spend time together, chat, laugh and share memories . No excuse needed for a nice lunch!
Thank you again to the team.

My father moved to Green Gates a month ago. We have been very happy with the level of care. The staff are friendly and caring. The administration if efficient. My father has a lovely light room overlooking the garden. He always looks clean and tidy and well dressed. He is encouraged to eat lunch in
the dining room which is a good thing and he seems very content at Green Gates. It is reassuring for the family to know that he is being well looked after.
