Allington Court Care Home

Submitted via Website • Report
Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5
To all the staff at Allington Court, every single person who works at the care home, we want to relay our gratitude for the daily goodwill and kindnesses that every one of you displayed towards our Dad.  Our experience of Allington Court Care Home cannot be commended enough.  We know our Dad received
sweetness and was attended to with care and dignity. From the small details of knowing what he liked for breakfast, without him having to ask, to adjusting the food to help his appetite, relaxed and bright faces are there at every turn, to help residents.  We really are impressed and cannot commend Allington Court Care Home enough for the attention shown to him and to us as a family.
The cleanliness, rooms, care and support are exceptional.
Reply from Alison Horridge, Customer Advisor on behalf of the team at Allington Court Care HomeThank you, we really appreciate you taking the time to leave us your feedback. We are happy we were able to provide your Dad with the care he required. Thank you again for choosing Allington Court.

Clare House Care Home

Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5
Our dear friend Mary was in this lovely care home for two years and we visited her on a number of occasions, from initially being bedbound to miraculously being able to walk out two years later. This is a beautiful care home near Uxbridge and Mary and her husband were allowed to make her room as cosy
and homely as they liked. The staff welcomed us warmly on every occasion that we visited and, once she was able to be wheeled to the dining room, we were always invited to join them for lunch. The meals were extremely tasty and prepared on site. The staff were amazing and we saw first hand how they treated all residents (and relatives & visitors) with the utmost respect, dignity and compassion. We really can't thank them enough for caring for her so well. David & Rosie

Hazelmere House Care Home

from Carol R (Daughter of Resident) published on 13 July 2026
Submitted via Website • Report
Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5
Mum needed respite as we knew she couldn't manage at home with a surgical boot on.
So when I walked into Hazelmere it was such a relief to be met with smiling faces.
Mum struggled at first as she really didn't want to be there but with the patience, smiles and support of the nursing staff she
soon settled in. Her room was nice and clean and she could if needed, go and sit quietly with her tv.
Two months later I came to take her home, and she cried because she didn't want to leave!
So it was lovely to receive an email to say mum would be welcome to visit her friends, have lunch and join in some activities (which again she enjoyed).
With the lovely weather it was nice to visit and sit outside which I could see was well used by other residents.
All in all a lovely homely home which is well run and everyone is made to feel welcome from entering.
Reply from Megan O'Connor, Customer service advisor at Hazelmere House Care HomeYour words remind us why we do what we do. We are happy to hear you feel like a part of our Hazelmere House family, this is exactly what we strive for from the moment you arrive. It's reassuring to hear that our approach to care has made this experience positive for you and your mum, and it's lovely to hear that you are both always welcome back as this is a perfect example of Hazelmere House's values of compassion and community. Feedback like yours motivates us to keep striving to provide the highest standards of care, we look forward to welcoming you back soon.

Hazelmere House Care Home

Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5
The staff are phenomenal at Hazelmere House Care Home. Tim in the office was beyond helpful during the process of moving my mum from the south of England to Hazelmere House. He helped me understand the steps and gave excellent advice so I could speak to the right people in the NHS too. He went above
and beyond consistently and even helped us put pictures up in mum's room, something I'm sure is not his responsibility. The carers are so lovely and make such an effort with my mum, to help her feel at home and cared for. Nothing ever feels too much trouble. Jenny in the Activities team is also fantastic and so kind and engaging with all residents. The food is wonderful, my mum's room is gorgeous and we literally could not have asked for a better environment. I would recommend this home and the wonderful team of staff to anyone. Thank you Hazelmere House Team, you are all amazing people!
Reply from Megan O'Connor, Customer service advisor at Hazelmere House Care HomeIt's always encouraging to read reviews like this. We are proud to have such a compassionate team and we're glad this has shone though in your experience, the team will be pleased to know they have made what can be a difficult transition, easier for you and your family. Knowing that you feel reassured about your loved one's care is the best feedback we can receive. It is lovely to know you and your mum are happy and content with the overall facilities at Hazelmere House and we're looking forward to creating many more happy memories with you and your family!

The team at The Lawns looked after my Dad while he recovered from an injury to his leg during May and June. What was meant to be a two week stay was extended to over 7 weeks. The whole team were amazing. So kind, helpful and caring. First class care backed up with kindness and compassion. I honestly
couldn't have wished for a better place for his rehabilitation before heading back home. Thank you so much.

I cannot speak highly enough of The Bridles. The staff are truly exceptional - kind, compassionate, professional, and incredibly attentive to my mum's needs. They treat her with genuine warmth and respect, giving our family complete confidence that she is receiving the best care. The food is outstanding
with a wonderful variety of meals that are both nutritious and beautifully prepared. Nothing is ever too much trouble for the team, every request is handled promptly, willingly and with a smile. The facilities are first class comfortable and welcoming and maintained to an impeccable standard. We are enormously grateful to the dedication, kindness and hard work of everyone at the home. They go above and beyond every day, and I would wholeheartedly recommend this care home to anyone looking for exceptional care for a loved one.

I have nothing but praise for the staff at Hazelmere. From talking to them to observing them whilst they do their job, it is clear they are passionate about their job. They always say hello when I go. It was a huge change for my gran after living independently to move to residential care. On our initial
visit, the staff were really engaging with her which put her at ease. The activity team encourage her daily to join in with the activities downstairs.Communal areas, the dining room and residents rooms are always clean and welcoming.
I know that my gran is receiving the best care from the staff and she is safe.
Thank you team Hazelmere

Mum went from independent living to residential care after a fall. I looked at a number of homes and knew Hazelmere was the right place for Mum. There was no fancy sales pitch and nothing was hidden from view. I was invited to sit in a lounge where other residents were so I could see what it would be
like for mum. It may not be the most glamorous or newest but all of the staff make it a very special place. Food is great and the menu appropriate for the age group of the residents. I no longer have sleepless nights wondering if mum has eaten or had a fall as I know that she is in a really safe place. Medical issues are picked up and dealt with promptly and professionally. A number of my friends have been to visit mum and they have also commented on how wonderful the home is and how amazing the staff are. Above all Mum is happy and there are plenty of wonderful activities on offer to keep her busy.

We took mum out for her 90th birthday, staff made sure she was ready when we picked her up, sorted a wheelchair for us to use. Mum medication had been all sorted and carried out beforehand so we had nothing to worry about. Receptionist was very welcoming and when we returned asked if everything went
well.

We attended the Garden Party on 16th June. The staff had gone to a lot of trouble to set the scene with lots of decorations and everyone was in red hats. Ruby Ann was an excellent entertainer and a lovely afternoon tea was provided, followed by ice-cream. I loved the way the staff interacted with the
residents, helping each one to join in, in their own way. There was such a happy atmosphere, everyone clearly enjoying the fun

My mother was a resident at Arbrook Care Home for approximately 5-7 weeks, and throughout her stay we were very pleased with the standard of care she received. The grounds and gardens were particularly appreciated by both my mother and our family, providing a pleasant and welcoming environment. Every
member of staff was attentive, compassionate, and treated my mother with dignity, respect, and genuine kindness. Their dedication was evident in all aspects of her care. We were especially touched by the wonderful birthday celebration they organised for her, which made the occasion truly special. Based on our experience, we would highly recommend Arbrook Care Home.
