Made very welcome always - amazing care staff looking after my mother in law.
Always smiles from the staff. Always happy residents. She was very happy here and had lots of friends in both other residents and the staff.
She loved it here and we couldn't have wished more for her!!

The atmosphere of this care home is notable. Always cheerful and positive. Nurses and carers are working very hard and are very helpful. They are amazingly patient and I see them look after each resident so earnestly. Currently there is no receptionist at weekends. It would be good if there is a receptionist
on Sat and Sun as well to welcome/assist visitors.

My dad has a facial cancerous tumour which is growing rapidly, it's very visible & has an awful odour, but the nursing staff & carers have been really wonderful with him from day one - making him feel welcomed & included. We have been particularly impressed with the dressings the nurses have skillfully
managed to apply to his face (not an easy area to dress). As a family, we have also felt supported & know that the door is always open should we have any need to talk.

I was niece to Barbara who was in your care long time for end of life care. My aunt had end of life COPD the staff were great looking after my Aunty. Aunty was so well cared for and happy at the home. When she passed, my Aunty was treated with total dignity and my family also cared for. Sorry for delay,
coping with our loss of Aunty.

The Arkley Care Home

My Mum has been at the Arkley Care Home for 2 years. She is well looked after & cared for. The care home support staff, nurses & office & activity coordinator are all helpful & friendly. The home manager recently changed & is noticeable better, being very supportive & actively interested in my Mums
well being & is helping to encourage my mum to participate more in the various activities, which are well thought out. Mum particularly loves the little dog that comes in regularly & sits on her lap, both dog & owner are a huge hit with Mum, she really looks forward to their visits .. hope this continues :-) The only aspect I am not struck on is the food, I appreciate it must be extremely challenging cooking for senior folk, coupled with so many dietary requirements but it does not look in the least appetising, which is a shame as Mum loved her food prior to being in the home. Overall, we are pleased with the Arkley Care Home, Mum is well cared for we would recommend.

I take my dog Mika every month to visit the residents of Staplehurst Manor, and I am always impressed with the friendliness of the staff, the care and attention that they give to each and everyone there. The home really is a home, it is beautifully designed, and the food is fresh, and although I have
never eaten it, it looks delicious. The residents always say how well cooked and tasty it is. The grounds are beautifully kept, and very attractive. Each person is given individual attention and their needs are catered for and nothing is too much trouble for the well trained staff. I can't compliment them too highly.

My husband has settled in well adjusting to his new environment. All the staff are friendly and always willing to help. He has enjoyed all the activities especially the singing. The events team organise many different activities trying to give residents a good variety of experiences. The staff have
also given me support during this very difficult time in my life. Myself and my family are happy with the care he is getting he's treated with dignity and respect and most importantly a willingness to help at all times. He enjoys the good quality food and there is always plenty of choice and nothing is too much trouble making mealtime an enjoyable experience. He can choose where he eats either in the dining room or his own room.

As I was a first time resident, to holiday respite care for 3 weeks.
Tenterden House was as expected. As my wife spent some weeks as a resident with health issues earlier in the year.
Tenterden House certainly felt homely and all staff extremely helpful & friendly in all aspects at my wellfare. The
food was excellent and well presented. My room was just right for my needs, ensuite, etc.
