My experience has been excellent all the staff have been amazing. Very happy I have decided to stay here permanently. The laundry service is second to none. The little things like a welcome note on the day I arrived was a lovely thought. I am very pleased this is my forever home.

I would like to offer a heartfelt thank you to all the staff and carers at The Manor who care so excellently for my auntie. I have never experienced such a high level of care and sensitivity - it is genuinely a pleasure to have got to know them. They are caring, kind, positive and highly capable in the work they do. A huge thank you to you all!

I find The Manor House Care Home a wonderful place for my sister to spend her days. Because of the amount of activities I have notice it is helping with her dementia and she has made a lot of new friends. I have booked in for lunch a few times and find the meals varies and nicely cooked. The bonus is the lovely surroundings the home is in and its history.

I am writing to say thank you to ALL the staff at the Manor House for the way you have looked after me during my spell of respite care.
Every member of the team: management, nursing, carers, domestic and catering were brilliant.
I am particularly grateful for the way in which they all understood and adapted to my near blindness and profound deafness.
The Manor House really is " a place where everybody knows your name" and uses it with professional courtesy and personal interest. This means that you always feel that you are being treated as an individual.
On a scale of 1 to 10 I would say that the Manor House scores 11
If I ever need full-time care I can't think of anywhere else I would rather be.
Thank you all so much

Colin

All the staff in the Manor exceeded our expectations not only in looking after our dad in his final months, but also in the wonderful, supportive care and love they provided to our mum as she visited him during this difficult time. I would wholeheartedly recommend The Manor to any family who requires the best care and support in the later years of life.

My nan was admitted to The Manor House as a fastrack patient from hospital. She was very poorly but with the care and devotion from all the amazing staff she lived a very happy life for an amazing 18 months. We cannot praise all of the staff enough, nothing is too much trouble and when sadly passed away the staff treated all of family with such respect and helped us through this very sad time with care and compassion.

I looked at several care homes in the Wirral area and settled on this one. My father couldn't be happier. The carers, nurses, caterers, housekeeping staff and managers are all fantastic and provide the highest possible care for my Dad. There are lots of activities for the residents to choose from and the grounds of the home are a lovely way to spend time outside. My father enjoys watching the bowls at the weekend and he particularly enjoys the meals provided whilst sitting in the dining room with his new friends. This home is highly recommended.

The Manor is a stately home! And everything is conducted in a like manner! The staff are kind, courteous and patient. Nothing is too much trouble. Their programme of activities is impressive. The food is excellent, every meal is a proper meal, not a light snack. The food is well-cooked and mostly homemade. A real bonus. My husband was well cared for and kept safe at all times.

My Father became a Resident of The Manor House at the beginning of the month. It is far superior to the care homes that two of my other relatives experienced in the past. The atmosphere is welcoming and relaxed and my Father is already enjoying the activities that are provided for all residents. The staff are professional and caring, and their smiles suggest that they too enjoy the environment they work in. The building and grounds are nothing short of spectacular. I have had the pleasure of meeting many staff in the short time he's been there and they make for a wonderful team. At the end of the day, the only person who can truly pass judgement about the home is my Father, and he is kicking himself for not moving in sooner!

This is to express my thanks to one staff member in particular who has gone above and beyond the call of duty by helping to take my mum's glasses to the opticians for repairing. This staff member has done this on more than one occasion. It's been really helpful as I'm Mum's only child and I live miles away from the care home. Mum can't cope without her glasses so this staff member has been brilliant and helped us both. What a lovely lady.

My Brother stayed for two weeks respite. He was well looked after and gained more mobility again.
Should he ever need to go permanently into a care home he would be happy for it to be Upton Manor.

Did not complete tick box for value for money as have nothing to compare to.

I joined The Manor House in May 2021 after taking a break from work to raise my family. Prior to working here, I have worked in events and ran my own business.

This is my first role in the care sector and certainly my most rewarding one! I love forming relationships with our residents. It's wonderful encouraging them to try new things, and working within the community.

I live locally with my partner, son, and cat. I enjoy reading, nature and spending time with my family.
