A very friendly, compassionate and professional team from the moment dad arrived at the home. He felt that he really mattered during the short time that he spent there and this also extended to us as a family too. Many thanks to all the staff who were attentive and supportive throughout.

What a lovely, professional welcome dad received at Alesham Court. A very well run, kind, lovely environment. Excellent nursing care. A friendly, compassionate team who looked after dad beautifully and us as a family too. Very grateful.

Aylesham Court has been a home for my mother-in-law for the past 7 years. Now at the age of 93, she is still alive and kicking, thanks to the amazing team of nurses, carers and staff. Visiting my mother-in-law has always been a joy. Getting to know many of the staff, they've become part of my extended family. Perhaps one day I'll become a resident myself when age and health dictate? I have already warned many of 'The Team' that my bottom may be in their hands sometime in the future. P.S. See you soon!!
Thank you for your kind review. We are happy to hear you feel like part of our Aylesham Court family. We look forward to seeing you again soon on your next visit.
The management and nurses have really taken on board the extra responsibility while Kate is on sick leave. They are doing a sterling job and our family hope Kate is back to full health very soon.
With the addition of the chef organisation in the kitchen has already improved. He has many years of experience in care home and I think his knowledge will benefit the home greatly.
Thank you to everyone for looking after my mum.

The staff were very pleasant and friendly.
The room was kept very clean and we were able to personalise it with his own posessions.
At all times my husband was treated with respect and dignity.
The staff looked after us the family as well as my husband.

When my Dad was taken to Aylesham Court, I was upset and anxious about what lay ahead. Watching my Dad reach his end of life, was a deeply upsetting and distressing time, that I knew was not going to be easy.
The compassion, respect, and genuine level of care shown by every member of the team made an immeasurable difference to us all. From the nurses and carers to the senior management within the nursing home, everyone treated my Dad with the care and dignity he deserved.
They cared for my Dad's physical needs and were dedicated in making sure he was comfortable and peaceful right until the end.
What touched us most was how they cared for us, too. They were patient in answering questions, gentle in guiding us through difficult moments, and always present whenever we needed support. Their kindness turned what could have been a time of fear and sadness into one filled with warmth, gratitude, and love.We will always be thankful for the genuine care and compassion shown to Dad.

Aylesham Court is an excellent care home.
We appreciate you taking the time to leave us your review during this sad time. Hopefully you can take comfort knowing that Ian received the best possible care. Thank you again for your kind words.
Our grandma was in Aylesham court for about 18 months, her care was outstanding. The staffing team on the nursing floor are incredible. They loved our grandma and cared for her like she was their own! She could no longer cope at home and was very unsafe however since moving to Aylesham Court she was the safest she could be thanks to the team. The unit manager and nursing team were always informative and kept us in the loop with how she was and any GP appointments etc. could not recommend Aylesham Court enough!
We appreciate you taking the time to leave us your kind words. It is always nice to hear from family members feeling like their loved one has been cared for. It's lovely to know that you felt reassured that your grandma was safe and well looked after. Hopefully you will go away from this feeling like they received the best possible care.
My mother lived at Aylesham Court for over 4 years. Her needs were complex and needed a high level of care. The dedication all the staff displayed, ensuring mum was cared for, comfortable and happy was second to none. Sadly, mum passed away this June. The compassion, love, dignity, and respect the staff showed to mum and the family during her final days of life was wonderful. The family are so thankful for the guidance, support and help the staff gave to us after mum's passing too. Thank you, Aylesham Court, for being a part of mum's family'.

My father has been at the carehome now for just over 3 months and I have to say it is a wonderful carehome. The staff are all very friendly, caring and always adding a little humour. My dad is very happy there and always commenting on the good food and attentive care. They have a very well managed entertainment schedule which is varied and encourages family participation and visits. We viewed a few carehome prior to choosing and had not seen any of this high standard, it has not disappointed since. The staff made an exceptional effort to make my father feel welcome and at ease from the outset. I also cannot compliment the staff enough for their attitudes, effort and care. Always willing to make that extra bit of effort that really makes a difference to the residents and family visitors. Exceptional care home, well done and keep up the wonderful work you all do.

My experience of visiting Aylesham Court has been excellent, with friendly and welcoming staff. My terminally ill friend was treated with great care, kindness and compassion during her four month stay. The home is spotlessly clean and food looked amazing.

From initial contact with the home to sort a place for mum all the staff, manager through to admin, nurses, care assistants, kitchen and laundry etc were so accommodating and helpful. Very efficient but with an individual and human touch. They cared with dignity and professionalism when required but were always personable and easy to talk to.We were always kept informed about mums medical condition by the nursing staff and when mum passed they were so dignified and helpful. Many thanks to all.

What can I say about Aylesham Court. The staff are absolutely amazing. They cannot do enough for their residents or their families. The rooms are clean and tidy, never has a piece of Dads clothing gone missing during the washing period. The whole home is just brilliant. I cannot recommend this place highly enough. My mum went to Aylesham Court for resbite care and didn't want to leave!!!

My husband went into the home in November 2024 with lung problems which meant he was on oxygen 24/7. The manager said this was something the home could cope with. The nursing staff did not seem to have any experience with oxygen concentrators or NIV machines. My husband's oxygen became detached one day and he was left with no oxygen for 7 minutes and unable to breathe, this was despite buzzing for help and shouting for help. The excuse was they were busy serving meals. They did apologise when I complained and said they would respond straight away in the future. Unfortunately, my husband was only in the home 10 days before he passed, he was seen the day before he died by the doctor but no one picked up on how poorly he was. He passed away in the early hours of the next morning and I was informed at 3am by phone that he had already died, I therefore believe no one checked on him in the night. They heard his machine bleeping went in and he was dying but no one called me until he had passed.
Thank you for your feedback. We have a genuine regard for all of our residents. We are sorry to hear about your experience with us and take your review extremely seriously. We have raised your concerns with the home's manager who will contact you directly to arrange a meeting to discuss the issues...
My mother was a resident at Aylesham Court for 3 months prior to her passing away in September, the nursing care she received was exceptional, and she was treated with care and dignity at every stage, unfortunately, she passed away whilst we were on holiday, but there was a staff member with her all the time in her final hours, two members of staff even staying after their shifts had ended to be with her. We cannot recommend this home enough. Many thanks for looking after Mum (and us) like you did, we really appreciate it.
Hello and thank you for leaving such a lovely review for the staff at Aylesham Court Care Home. Firstly we would like to offer our condolences for your mother's passing in September. We are so pleased that you feel she was treated with "care and dignity" at every stage. We are touched that our staff were there to support both you and your mother during this time and wish you all the best.
