Aylesham Court is an outstanding home and offers a warm and welcoming environment with a wide range of care services for the elderly. Care options include nursing, residential, convalescence, respite, palliative and day care, with the ground floor dedicated to residential residents.

This purpose-built home with its well-furnished interior provides a pleasant dining room and four spacious and homely lounges where residents have the opportunity to relax and socialise. All bedrooms come with ensuite facilities and a 24-hour call system, and residents are able to personalise their room with their own furniture and personal items.

Each resident’s dietary requirements and personal preferences are taken into account, and the chef provides both cooked meals, light and cold alternatives, as well as popular homemade cakes.

Some of the many activities residents can enjoy include line dancing classes, exercise classes, baking and cooking, church services, crafts and pampering sessions, and there are also regular organised outings and trips to places of local interest.

Our mum stayed at Aylesham Court for 2 weeks respite care. I think it is fair to say that she really did not want to go but we cannot thank the team enough for the experience she had. The quality was excellent, she settled well and most importantly, felt safe. We expected her to spend all of the time
in her room but she got involved in the activities and used the lounge/dining room. Thank you so much as it allowed me to take a much-needed break.

My mum has been at the home for nearly 3 years and we have had no problems only when the lift was out of action for 10 weeks and my mum couldn't go outside to sit in the sun as she was on the first floor.
All the staff are very caring and helpful which has been a great help to us. We know we can go
on holiday without having to worry about Mum's care and attention. I have put poor down for activities because we are still waiting for someone to be employed.

Visited my mum who is currently having respite at this home, can I just say the staff are so welcoming and supportive.
My mum who has dementia was struggling with anxiety and fear before she came here, but seeing her today has put my mind at rest tremendously she loves the staff and seems really settled,
which I am very happy about.
I would choose this home as a permanent residence should Mum need more help than we could give her, knowing that she would be looked after by Aylesham Court and surrounded by good people 24/7.

The staff team at Aylesham Court are excellent without exception.
In need of palliative care, our sister has been empowered to lead her own care and social activities which the team have moderated each day, according to how she feels. They have ensured she remained engaged and feeling fulfilled.
We
have been struck by the team’s excellent communication and by how responsive everyone is to the smallest change.
The team have treated our sister, and us, with respect, making every effort to welcome us and to get to know us as individuals.
Our sister has received a personalised service which meets her needs and has been beautifully tailored to enable her to be her best self each day, allowing her vibrant personality to continue to shine.
We feel so fortunate that our sister was able to be cared for at Aylesham Court and privileged to have met a truly outstanding team.

My father has been in the home for almost 12 months and the care and treatment he has received has been second to none. He had fallen ill in December 2023 and the staff called an ambulance and stayed with him, reassuring him along the way until he was taken to hospital. Unfortunately, he passed away
last week but was really looking forward to 'getting back home' to watch the TV and see his nurses. Four members of staff in particular and the team have been amazing. We cannot thank them enough for everything they did to make the last months of his life comfortable. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for the compassion this team give on a day-to-day basis. Highly recommended if you have concerns about placing your parents or grandparents - nothing to worry about at Aylesham Court.

The team have been absolutely amazing, so accommodating and made my mum, along with all of her many family and friends, feel so welcome. It really is a home away from home. I found this place by chance whilst my uncle was in another very poor nursing home in the city. Management from the very start were fabulous, they instantly gave help, guidance, care and showed compassion. The outside on approach was great, the entrance was spotless no horrid smells, it has a key code
to enter [or bell] and great parking. Reception was fabulous along with the pet cat. The rooms set on two floors are great, most with fab views via stairs or lift. Facilities are unbelievable, bar, (yes!), Visitors can come and go as they please at any hour of the day or night. Refreshments are free for visitors, you can even get fed if you are nice. I won't even begin to elaborate on the staff. Suffice to say with hand on heart, not a single staff member let our family down, not once. A nurse is there full-time. Everyone should be very proud of themselves each and every one, at every job level an utter credit to this home. This place deserves `outstanding` Thank you so much.

My cousin arrived at very short notice into this care home but was happily cared for and attended in a very professional, respectful yet friendly manner. Elderly, immobile and losing her ability to express herself verbally, the staff made every effort to keep her comfortable and please her, as well
as encourage her to become part of her new community whilst taking part in communal activities. Her family and friends were never discouraged from visiting and acting as next of kin. I was always kept informed of medical decisions and ultimately included in end-of-life care. A big thank you.

On entering for the first time for respite care. I was greeted by friendly welcoming staff. The room I was taken to hadn't quite been set out as requested but was altered for me including having to change an uncomfortable mattress. We were made to feel very welcome. Everything was explained to us very clearly. The staff have all been fantastic, friendly and professional. My brother was brought to Aylesham Court from hospital. The care he has received here has been amazing. All the staff are lovely, polite and take time to talk to us and update us, even though they are busy. My brother is really settled here and we can see a difference in him and he is really happy here.
This is all down to the wonderful staff and the care he is being given. We can't thank them enough.

My Mother entered Aylesham Court for nursing care. She chose to remain there rather than move to a hospice as part of her end-of-life journey. The care and nursing staff were fantastic. At all times we felt we were listened to as mum's needs changed, never any barriers, and an understanding of her individual
needs. Mum enjoyed the interaction with the carers who were amazed at her knowledge of craft and sewing. The communication from the nursing staff meant we were able to be with mum right at the end, which has given us much comfort. The care, sensitivity and compassion from the staff was first-class.
