My cousin arrived at very short notice into this care home but was happily cared for and attended in a very professional, respectful yet friendly manner. Elderly, immobile and losing her ability to express herself verbally, the staff made every effort to keep her comfortable and please her, as well as encourage her to become part of her new community whilst taking part in communal activities. Her family and friends were never discouraged from visiting and acting as next of kin. I was always kept informed of medical decisions and ultimately included in end-of-life care. A big thank you.
Thank you for taking the time to leave your lovely review. It is always nice to hear words such as "professional" and "respectful" being used to describe the care that we provide. Hopefully, you will go away from this feeling like your loved one received the best possible care.
On entering for the first time for respite care. I was greeted by friendly welcoming staff. The room I was taken to hadn't quite been set out as requested but was altered for me including having to change an uncomfortable mattress. The staff were very approachable and encouraged you to visit the day room to take part in activities. the meals were on time with a small choice I would be happy to stay there again.
Thank you for your kind words. We hope Aylesham Court Care Home did everything possible to make the transition as easy as possible, and it's nice to hear that we were able to make the room more comfortable for you. Hopefully, you will go away from this feeling like you received the best possible care. Thank you for choosing Aylesham Court for your stay.
We were made to feel very welcome. Everything was explained to us very clearly. The staff have all been fantastic, friendly and professional. The rooms are a great size, very clean and well-furnished. Lots of activities are arranged for the residents. Lots of attention has been put into every detail to help make residents feel happy, safe and well cared for. This place is amazing, a real home from home. I can't praise the staff, accommodation and love that is in this care home enough. With one day, Mum is settled, safe and happy.
Thank you for your lovely review and we are very happy to hear you can feel at ease with your mum in our care. It is always nice to hear words like “fantastic, friendly and professional” being used to describe our care. We hope to continue providing your loved one with the best possible care. My brother was brought to Aylesham Court from hospital. The care he has received here has been amazing. All the staff are lovely, polite and take time to talk to us and update us, even though they are busy. My brother is really settled here and we can see a difference in him and he is really happy here. This is all down to the wonderful staff and the care he is being given. We can't thank them enough.

I am very happy with the care provided to my mother. The team were very caring and understanding. I can see why the residence is CQC outstanding and concur with that assessment. I think it is unfair to ask us to consider excellent for cleanliness and food as there is always room for improvement. It was a dignified and high-standard facility.
Thank you for your lovely review. We are glad to help you and your family through such a difficult time, and hopefully, you will go away from this feeling like your loved one received the best possible care.
My mother was in for respite care and she received very good care from an accomplished and sympathetic staff. It was her first time in a home such as this and everyone did their best to help her settle.

The staff made my father-in-law feel at home from the very start of living at Aylesham Court. They catered for his every need and made us feel welcome when we visited. We had peace of mind that he was safe and comfortable during his final days and were kept informed at all times.
Thank you for your kind words and we are saddened to hear about your loss. We are very happy to hear you can feel at ease with your father-in-law in our care and we hope Aylesham Court Care Home did everything possible to make the transition as easy as possible. Hopefully, you will go away from this feeling like your loved one received the best possible care.
My Mother entered Aylesham Court for nursing care. She chose to remain there rather than move to a hospice as part of her end-of-life journey. The care and nursing staff were fantastic. At all times we felt we were listened to as mum's needs changed, never any barriers, and an understanding of her individual needs. Mum enjoyed the interaction with the carers who were amazed at her knowledge of craft and sewing. The communication from the nursing staff meant we were able to be with mum right at the end, which has given us much comfort. The care, sensitivity and compassion from the staff was first-class. Thank you all.
We really appreciate you taking the time to leave us your feedback. Please accept our condolences for your loss, it is good to hear that knowing your Mother received the best of care at Aylesham Court was of comfort to you. Thank you again for your review.
My mother went to Aylesham for respite care but liked staying there so much she decided to stay permanently. Although there were a few teething problems, our concerns were listened to and acted upon. My mother enjoyed her time with the wonderful carers and nurses and taking part in the activities. On her end-of-life journey, the support and care for my mother was exemplary and we couldn't have asked for more.
We are sorry for your loss, we really appreciate you taking the time to leave us your feedback.
The care and nursing care at Aylesham Court is second to none. All of the staff genuinely care about the welfare, happiness, and comfort of the residents. The dignity afforded to my dear mother during her final weeks, and to our family, was outstanding and cannot be faulted. Their care and compassion were amazing, and such comfort to the family during such a difficult time. A massive thank you to everyone at Aylesham. God bless.
We are pleased to hear that you felt at ease with your mother in our care at Aylesham Court. It is always nice to hear such positive feedback especially during such a difficult time for you and your family. We hope that you feel comfort that your mother received the best possible care.
My mother-in-law has been living in Aylesham Court for 3 years. She loves it there and, as a family, we love visiting her there. Without exception, the nurses, carers, and staff have been looking after her amazingly. They've seen her through a broken hip, covid, bereavement, shingles, and the onset of vascular dementia. My mother-in-law is a very lucky lady and, as a family, we are very lucky to have Aylesham Court just around the corner.
Thank you for taking the time to leave your review. It is always nice to hear words like “very lucky” being used to describe our care and we are happy you feel like a part of our Aylesham Court family, especially during all the changes to her care over her time with us. We hope to continue providing your loved one with the best possible care.
Since Mum moved to Aylesham Court we have been very pleased, and comforted, by the high standard of care she has received. During Covid restrictions, the home allowed as much freedom and access to loved ones as possible, whilst fully protecting residents. As things have opened up, residents' activities have been increasing and Mum has been enjoying things such as "pop-up vintage tea room" and church/religious services, as well as crafts, exercises, drinks/singalongs, bingo/dominoes and weekly entertainment from external singers/pianists etc. The care, accommodation and food choice are excellent and we would recommend Aylesham Court to anyone.
Thank you for your lovely review. We are happy to hear you are reassured knowing that your Mum is well cared for at Aylesham Court. It is so nice to be able to offer a full and varied activity schedule for our residents to enjoy again. Thank you for your recommendation.
Their care and compassion were so evident in the last few weeks Mum was with them, so attentive to her needs. Nothing was too much trouble and there were so many small thoughtful things done to make Mum's final weeks the best they could be.
Huge Thanks.
We really appreciate you taking the time to leave us your review. We are so sorry for your loss but hope that it is comforting to know how well your mum was cared for by everyone at Aylesham Court. Thank you again for choosing us to look after her.
Yesterday afternoon my Mum enjoyed a trip out with two outstanding members of the team at Aylesham Court. They had decided they wished to take Mum out, in their own time, asking me, as eldest son for my consent to a shopping trip. I, of course, agreed and joined them for the best 2.5 hours I will ever spend at Fosse Park! I wish I could have filmed the whole thing as there were so many laughs. But to see Mum, in a wheelchair, enjoy herself as she did, was a delight. The care and support of 'two of her girls', as she calls them, in prompting, helping make choices etc., was exceptional. Bearing in mind Mum has significant cognitive limitation from a stroke condition. The trip was completed with coffee and cake before the returning to Aylesham Court. I stayed with Mum for an hour afterwards and she had clearly enjoyed an exceptional afternoon. As a family, we will always be grateful for this wonderful example of kindness, generosity, commitment and much more.
Thank you for your lovely review. We are so happy to hear how much your Mum's special day out meant to you both. It is always so nice to hear words like exceptional used to describe our staff so I will certainly pass your thanks on to everyone involved.
Mum was moved to the care home and could not have wished for a better place. Nothing was too much trouble for either Mum or the family, even at the end nursing staff were very kind in every respect, given everything we needed. Lots of hugs and best wishes, such a caring thought to us all and very much appreciated, even on reception could not have wished for better at all. Thank you.
Thank you for your kind words. We hope that the support provided by everyone at Aylesham Court made a difficult time a little easier for you all. Thank you again for your review.
My grandmother has been treated with kindness, dignity, and respect throughout her stay so far. She regularly expresses how happy she is here - which is nothing to be taken lightly after it must have been a shock to move after living independently throughout her life so far. Thank you to the staff - your caring nature really shines through.
Thank you for taking the time to leave your review. It is nice to hear that your Grandmother expresses how happy she is in our care home and that you feel she is cared for. We hope to continue providing your Grandmother with the best possible care.
The care given to our father during his stay at Aylesham Court was excellent. The staff were friendly and responded to his every need, individualising care appropriately. In the latter stages of his life, the family felt supported and appreciated the sensitive care given to all.
We appreciate you taking the time to leave us your review. Hopefully, you can go away from this feeling like your father received the best care possible.
I am impressed by the knowledge the staff have of their residents and their willingness to talk about problems/difficulties which can then be rectified. The atmosphere seems cheerful and cooperative throughout the workforce which produces a nice atmosphere within the home.
Thank you for your feedback. We are happy to hear that you feel listened to and that any comments are acted upon quickly. Please let us know if there is anything further we can do.
We are completely satisfied with the care that our mother receives at Aylesham Court. The staff go above and beyond to deliver care, patience and dedication. They are all very helpful and conscientious. If there is anything we are needing to discuss, someone is always there to help. Don't know about activities as our mother arrived during covid and the home unable to arrange.
We really appreciate you taking the time to leave us your lovely comments, thank you for sharing your kind words with us. We are so pleased you're happy with the services Aylesham Court are providing for your mother. Please let us know if there is anything more we can do to ensure her stay with us is as comfortable as possible.
