Aylesham Court is an outstanding home and offers a warm and welcoming environment with a wide range of care services for the elderly. Care options include nursing, residential, convalescence, respite, palliative and day care, with the ground floor dedicated to residential residents.

This purpose-built home with its well-furnished interior provides a pleasant dining room and four spacious and homely lounges where residents have the opportunity to relax and socialise. All bedrooms come with ensuite facilities and a 24-hour call system, and residents are able to personalise their room with their own furniture and personal items.

Each resident’s dietary requirements and personal preferences are taken into account, and the chef provides both cooked meals, light and cold alternatives, as well as popular homemade cakes.

Some of the many activities residents can enjoy include line dancing classes, exercise classes, baking and cooking, church services, crafts and pampering sessions, and there are also regular organised outings and trips to places of local interest.

Aylesham Court looked after and cared for my wife's Mum, my Mother-in-Law, for more than 18 months following her admission in October 2015.
Throughout the whole period, the care and attention given to Mum was second to none. Nothing was too much trouble. Nurses and carers were continually popping into
her room to ensure she was well, comfortable and as content as was possible. The final month of her life when she was really unwell, the attention to her and her needs was simply first class. We owe Aylesham Court a huge 'thank you'.

My mother has lived at Aylesham Court for just over three years and was not expected to live for very long, having been discharged there from a local hospice. Despite that, she is very much still alive and kicking, due very much to the excellent care she receives at Aylesham Court. I am really happy
with the service and feel confident and assured that the staff always look after her as well as they possibly can. Her functioning has gradually reduced over time but she still has a good quality of life despite her limitations. She also engages in the many activities on offer when she is able to and has particularly enjoyed the trips out. The staff and managers are all very welcoming and friendly and my mother rates them highly as they generally respond very efficiently to her requests for assistance or medication. The home is modern and always clean and my mother's room and her en-suite are well kept. I cannot recommend this home highly enough to others that require this care.

My mother was a resident for three months. She required full-time nursing care. The staff were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. When attending to her needs. I was always given answers to any questions I asked and any requests I made were dealt with promptly.
During the time of her death,
she was treated with dignity and the night staff were very supportive at that time.
I would recommend Aylsham Court Care Home to anyone wishing to have their relatives cared for.

Since my mother went to Aylesham Court Care Home she has gone from strength to strength. She has flourished under the care of the staff and is now doing things she would never have done before. She is happy and settled, and I must say, the care she receives, day and night is second to none. The staff
at all levels are friendly and approachable and have one aim in view - to make the residents happy.
Should my mother be feeling unwell there is staff to assess her problems and deal with them promptly, whether that be a kind word and holding her hand or booking a visit from the doctor.
Her room is clean, modern and comfortable and has everything she needs. Outside there are pleasant gardens and lawns which are well tended.
The entertainment programme ranges from visiting entertainers, bingo, cuddly animals and M's Move & Groove (worth the entrance fee alone!!) to pizza nights and the odd glass or two of sherry.
I have no hesitation in recommending.

My husband came to Aylesham Court in June 2015. He has complex medical needs and has to be turned every two hours. I undertook a site visit before he came here, the first of what I thought would be many. The staff were warm and welcoming. It doesn't look like a care home. It's bright, airy and exceptionally
clean. I cancelled them all as I'd hit the jackpot at the first home. I didn't need to look elsewhere. The whole team are amazing people and have not just looked after my husband but have supported me as well through what has been a tough few months. It's like having another family.

Moved my brother (69 and daily becoming weaker) to Aylesham Court, October 2015. He's been given care, support, fellowship and respect from the moment he arrived. He's been involved in his care plan, encouraged/allowed to be as independent as possible plus appropriate help and support has always been
on hand and available. The staff have striven to meet his, and my every request. They are friendly attentive and positive at all times day and night. I've visited many homes, Aylesham's really great like an hotel.
After his recent admission into hospital staff at the home agreed that he could be returned at any time - there was no cut off time like some homes have.
The home always smells like an hotel and feels warm and welcoming.
