Many thanks to all the staff for taking such good care of our Mum Vilna whilst she had a respite stay with you. Everyone was very kind and helpful and it was a great comfort to know that she was safe and well looked after whilst she was there. Thank you again.

I have a long experience with Copper Beech as my sister has been a resident since Covid. She has a room on the first floor overlooking the garden and is well looked after by the very caring staff who are friendly, patient. The reception staff are particularly kind and helpful and nothing is too much trouble. Thank you to the home manager and all the staff.

My aunt moved into Copper Beech Care Home at the beginning of January. We are incredibly happy with the home, every day the manager checks in with my aunt and all th staff are incredibly thoughtful & kind. We feel that Jill is in very safe hands. she enjoys the activities, run by the very hardworking Tia and the home also has a toddler group in the home every Wednesday morning. A great deal of thought goes into the care provided to my aunt & the staff really do give us time to communicate with them.

A relative going into a nursing home is one of the hardest things to deal with. The support from the home, right from the home visit to sorting out finances and care and support for mums needs has been excellent. Mum had some difficulties settling in at first but over time and with the guidance of the amazing staff she has now settled. We still have a few ups and downs but there is always someone to offer help and advice. The activities they offer are amazing and mum's enjoying most of them with lots of enthusiasm and encouragement from the wonderful staff. I am always made to feel welcome and mum is always happy so couldn't ask for more.
Thank you for your lovely review. We understand how difficult the process of finding the right care home for a loved one can be, so we are thrilled to hear how supported you felt. We are pleased that your mother has now settled in well and is enjoying the activities- our team works hard to make...
My Dad seemed quite happy and was well looked after, and my Mum said that the care he had at the end of his days was exceptional. He was well cared for, and the two girls who were with him at the end were very caring to my Mum and my brother as sadly I couldn't be there as I had caught Covid.
Thank you for taking the time to leave your review. We are sorry for your loss. We are glad to help you and your family through such a difficult time. It's lovely to know that you feel reassured that your Dad was safe and well looked after. Hopefully you will go away from this feeling like your loved one received the best possible care.
She enjoys the entertainment, the person who organises the activities is excellent!
Mum's room is clean and comfortable.
The staff are kind, friendly and caring.
I think the food could be improved, but a new chef has just started. Hopefully some better puddings! We are extremely pleased with the care.

We could not have been more impressed with the care that my dad got in Copper Beech. All the staff were professional and treated him with respect and dignity at all times. We have not been disappointed. The whole team have shown us nothing but support, understanding and kindness. My father is now there too and every effort was made to find him a room in an emergency situation and move him close to Mum as soon as possible.
The genuine welcome we all received, the warmth, kindness and helpfulness of all staff, made my parents feel at home, safe and secure and aware they are in excellent hands.
As their daughter, I feel like many staff have become friends and if there is ever any issue, it is always dealt with promptly, professionally and with respect and understanding.

My mother has had incredible care at Copper Beech Care Home over the last 8 months. The staff have been very kind and attentive throughout this time. We couldn't have asked for a more caring environment, especially bearing in mind how frail and poorly she was before admission. Meet the Team (1)

I have been working for Bupa since February 2022. I started as a peripatetic manager and I am currently working as the registered home manager at Copper Beech.
I have been working in the care sector for the last 20 years. I was always passionate about caring for people especially elderly vulnerable adults who really need support. As a result, I started to work in the care sector. I worked as a team leader, deputy manager, home manager and regional support manager for various organisations.
I have managed nursing homes, dementia residential homes and learning disability homes during my career and also worked as a regional support manager overseeing three nursing homes before I joined Bupa.
I really enjoy making a difference in and improving our residents' quality of life.
Outside of work, I am married with children. My hobbies include music and travelling. I like to play the guitar in my own time, travel to new places and spend time with my family.
