Copper Beech is custom-built for a wide range of nursing care and residential needs, these can include post-operative care, convalescence, dementia and palliative care. Respite and long-term care packages are put together by experienced professionals and tailored to individual requirements.

A purpose-built property has modern safety features, underfloor heating and is wheelchair accessible. Comfortable furniture is colour coordinated and the patio and garden areas are great for relaxing in.

As an enhanced service to the residents, weekly GP visits are conducted at Copper Beech Care Home, enabling residents to receive regular, personalised medical reviews as part of the person-centred care.

The home prepares delicious meals and snacks for residents to enjoy in the social dining area or in the comfort of the privacy of the resident's room. There are always plenty of favourites on the menu, but the staff also talk to each resident on arrival about likes and dislikes, and any special dietary requirements.

An active lifestyle is supported, with carers helping residents to access the hobbies and interests that inspire them and there are many activities to take part in such as arts and crafts, bingo and games.

When it became obvious that our mum needed full-time care it was a very hard decision to find the right home for her. After speaking to the manager at Copper Beech Care Home and hearing everything about the home we knew that this was the home for Mum. All the staff were so kind and caring and welcoming.
The girls on reception went out of their way to make sure we could visit Mum as often as we could. Mum was very happy there and the care and kindness that was shown to her was amazing and when sadly our mum passed away peacefully, the staff were so thoughtful and kind. We can't thank them all enough. We would highly recommend Copper Beech. It was everything that we hoped for and more for our mum.

I am very pleased with the care given to my mum, the staff are all kind and caring. She is well looked after. It has been a challenging year dealing with the Covid 19 pandemic. I feel that the home has made an extremely difficult situation run smoothly and provided excellent care for my mum.

Since my mother moved into Copper Beech she has been very well looked after. Her needs have always been met with a level of kindness, patience and understanding that is very reassuring that she is in the right place for her now.

We were very pleased with the whole process of booking my mother into Copper Beech Care Home. All the staff were very kind, helpful and supportive. My dad was fast-tracked to Copper Beech Care Home for palliative care. I can't thank them enough for the care to dad and myself in these very difficult times. With Covid restrictions, they let me be with dad twice to comfort and reassure him. Sadly dad only had ten days with them, but he was very well
looked after and they made sure he could watch his beloved horse racing, so thank you to them all.

We are so pleased that we got Mum and Dad into Copper Beech, they were both cared for and looked after so well, right up to the end of life. The home was like an additional family, very welcoming and caring. It gave us peace of mind and would highly recommend the home to any of our family and friends,
we couldn't have picked a better one!

Copper Beech was my mum's home for three and a half years until she passed away in April 2020. The manager and her staff loved my irascible, naughty and characterful mum. They cared for her like she was family. Copper Beech is a family. Every staff member treats the residents with dignity and cares
for them with tenderness and kindness. My mum's death was very distressing for us as we could not be with her but was made easier by us knowing she was with her other family. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Copper Beech.

I love it. All staff work as a team. An email to the office ensures that information is shared appropriately between departments. Any requests are acted on promptly and communicated back. One of the most rewarding aspects for me is that they treat residents as individuals. My dad is unique in many ways.
They have adapted to accommodate his level of independence, maintaining the buggy. They have supported his use of technology so he is still in contact with family and friends. They have accepted his hobby of moth trapping and met his individual dietary requirements. There is a happy family atmosphere.

Out mother has Dementia and moved at Easter this year to Cooper Beech, from another local Dementia unit. Every member of staff is friendly, caring, professional and this made the transition easier for us. Their knowledge and coping mechanisms for Dementia sufferers are very evident. Our family feel
comforted and confident knowing that our mother is safe and very well cared for. The whole team are very friendly and welcoming when we visit, I would have no hesitation in highly recommending Copper Beech.

My mum was only here for a very short time as she sadly passed away while in the home. The staff were absolutely wonderful to my mum and treated her with so much dignity in her last few days. I just want to say a big thank you to them all.
My mum had also been in previously for respite, which again,

I approached Copper Beech management to see if they could provide nursing care for my Aunt when she came out of hospital. They were very open about care level ability, showed me round at short notice and explained clearly what was available. When she left hospital they welcomed her and made every effort

Job Title: Home Manager Joined: 2022

I have been working for Bupa since February 2022. I started as a peripatetic manager and I am currently working as the registered home manager at Copper Beech.


I have been working in the care sector for the last 20 years. I was always passionate about caring for people especially elderly vulnerable adults who really need support. As a result, I started to work in the care sector. I worked as a team leader, deputy manager, home manager and regional support manager for various organisations.


I have managed nursing homes, dementia residential homes and learning disability homes during my career and also worked as a regional support manager overseeing three nursing homes before I joined Bupa.


I really enjoy making a difference in and improving our residents' quality of life.


Outside of work, I am married with children. My hobbies include music and travelling. I like to play the guitar in my own time, travel to new places and spend time with my family.
