She needs 24/7 care and support as she has severe dementia and her needs have been completely catered for.
She is treated with dignity and receives exemplary care. We feel very lucky to have found Copper Beech.
She is safe and secure in her environment and although my mother can't use the activities, they are there for others.
We are delighted with the amazing, dedicated staff who go way and beyond.
Thank you so much.

A care home had to be found for my mother in August of this year. We found the home to be clean, light and airy. The staff are wonderful. They are all so friendly and great with the residents. Very happy with the home and, most of all, Mum is being well looked after.
Thank you for your kind words. We are very happy to hear your mother has settled so well and that you are pleased with the care she is receiving at Copper Beech. We hope to continue providing your loved one with the best possible care.
My mother has been a resident at Copper Beech for over four years after her two previous care homes closed. During this time, she has been treated with respect and shown love and kindness. She has not wanted to go into hospital during her many illnesses, preferring to stay where she is well cared for. The staff have kept me informed whenever she has been unwell and supported me during these times. I have complete peace of mind knowing that she is in very safe hands. My love and thanks from all of her family for the wonderful care of a very special, amazing lady.
Thank you for your lovely review. It is so nice to hear you describe the care your Mother receives and how reassuring this is for you. We certainly hope to continue providing her with the very best care possible; thank you for choosing Copper Beech.
My Grandmother has been at Copper Beech Care Home for the last couple of months. She has enjoyed the activities with other residents, loves the food and the staff are caring, patient and friendly. She has lots more to look forward to everyday. She is the happiest I have seen her for ages.
Thank you for your lovely review. It's always nice to hear from family members letting us know how much their loved one has improved while in our care, and hearing that your Grandma is the happiest you have seen her in ages, goes to show how comfortable she feels at Copper Beech care home. Thank you for choosing Copper Beech for your stay.
We have recently had to make the difficult decision to move my grandmother into a care home. We chose Copper Beech Care Home and they’ve been exceptional.
From the moment we enquired, Copper Beech has been nothing short of incredible. Nothing is too much bother and they constantly are striving for the absolute best.
The staff are absolutely amazing. They are so incredibly kind, genuine and caring that it feels they’re part of Grandmother’s family now. They are so wonderful with her and will do everything and anything for her.
Her room is absolutely beautiful, it’s so spacious and constantly kept immaculately clean. They allowed us to bring as much of my grandmother’s property as she wanted, which has really enabled the room to feel like hers.
The facilities are second to none and there is so much for my grandmother to do. We are thrilled with their care and would highly recommend them.
Thank you for your kind words. We are so glad to hear that from the start Copper Beech has been "exceptional, incredible and amazing". It is always so nice to hear our care described in this way. Thank you again for your recommendation.
Excellent care is given by very kind, caring and helpful staff.
Mum was very happy there and I cannot thank everyone enough who looked after her.
Thank you again.

We did considerable research before deciding on Copper Beech and have been delighted with the professionalism and care which has been afforded to our 93-year-old mum.
Nothing is too much trouble and despite the enormous strain, which Covid has placed on the staff, any concerns about our mum's health and welfare have been attended to timely and with compassion.
Could not recommend highly enough.
Thank you for your lovely review. It is always nice to hear from family members feeling like their loved one is cared for and looked after and it is always nice to hear words such as professionalism and compassion to describe our care. Please let us know if there is anything we can do to make your mum's stay as comfortable as possible.
When it became obvious that our mum needed full-time care it was a very hard decision to find the right home for her. After speaking to the manager at Copper Beech Care Home and hearing everything about the home we knew that this was the home for Mum. All the staff were so kind and caring and welcoming. The girls on reception went out of their way to make sure we could visit Mum as often as we could. Mum was very happy there and the care and kindness that was shown to her was amazing and when sadly our mum passed away peacefully, the staff were so thoughtful and kind. We can't thank them all enough. We would highly recommend Copper Beech. It was everything that we hoped for and more for our mum.
Thank you for your review. We are glad to have been able to help support you and your family through such a difficult time, hopefully you can go away from this knowing that your mum received the very best of care. Thank you for your lovely recommendation.
I am very pleased with the care given to my mum, the staff are all kind and caring. She is well looked after. It has been a challenging year dealing with the Covid 19 pandemic. I feel that the home has made an extremely difficult situation run smoothly and provided excellent care for my mum.
Thank you for your kind words. We are glad to be able to help support you and your family through what certainly has been a challenging time.
Since my mother moved into Copper Beech she has been very well looked after. Her needs have always been met with a level of kindness, patience and understanding that is very reassuring that she is in the right place for her now.
Thank you for your kind words. We are so happy to hear you feel she is being treated with such care and kindness. We look forward to continuing to provide her with the best care possible.
We were very pleased with the whole process of booking my mother into Copper Beech Care Home. All the staff were very kind, helpful and supportive. My mum writes: "I would like to thank you and your charming staff for the very happy week I spent with you. The meals were varied and excellently cooked by your chef. I was very comfortable in your nice room and I feel much recovered and able to tackle life in the real world again." I would certainly highly recommend Copper Beech Care Home.
Thank you for taking the time to leave your review and your kind words. We are glad to help you and your family through such a difficult time. I am happy to hear you have made a full recovery with the help of the staff at Copper Beech and are able to go back into the real world feeling confident.
My dad was fast-tracked to Copper Beech Care Home for palliative care. I can't thank them enough for the care to dad and myself in these very difficult times. With Covid restrictions, they let me be with dad twice to comfort and reassure him. Sadly dad only had ten days with them, but he was very well looked after and they made sure he could watch his beloved horse racing, so thank you to them all.
Thank you for your kind review. We are glad to have been a help to you and your family through such a difficult time and are saddened to hear of your loss. Hopefully, you can go away from this feeling like your loved one received the best possible care in the short time spent with us.
Couldn't ask for a better place for my Mum to be, or better staff to look after her.
Thank you for your review. We are glad to hear that you are happy with the care provided for your mum.
Excellent care is given at Copper Beech. I trust their expertise and am fully confident that my Mum is in the very best environment for her complex and deteriorating needs. The staff are caring, knowledgeable, polite, reactive and understanding. We couldn't ask for more.
Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. We are glad to hear you feel that your Mum is so well looked after. We hope to continue providing her with the best possible care.
All-round excellent. Kind, efficient, caring and helpful.
I would just like to say that without all your support over the last year my family and I would have been lost. You took great care of mum and dad and made their last year with us a happy if not a healthy one and for this, we will always be grateful.
We really appreciate you taking the time to leave us such lovely comments. Please let us know if there is anything else we can do for you or your family.
We are so pleased that we got Mum and Dad into Copper Beech, they were both cared for and looked after so well, right up to the end of life. The home was like an additional family, very welcoming and caring. It gave us peace of mind and would highly recommend the home to any of our family and friends, we couldn't have picked a better one!
Thank you for your kind words. Please let us know if there is anything else we can do for you or your family.
Copper Beech was my mum's home for three and a half years until she passed away in April 2020. The manager and her staff loved my irascible, naughty and characterful mum. They cared for her like she was family. Copper Beech is a family. Every staff member treats the residents with dignity and cares for them with tenderness and kindness. My mum's death was very distressing for us as we could not be with her but was made easier by us knowing she was with her other family. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Copper Beech.
Thank you for your lovely words, we are happy we could help you and your family through a difficult time.
I love it. All staff work as a team. An email to the office ensures that information is shared appropriately between departments. Any requests are acted on promptly and communicated back. One of the most rewarding aspects for me is that they treat residents as individuals. My dad is unique in many ways. They have adapted to accommodate his level of independence, maintaining the buggy. They have supported his use of technology so he is still in contact with family and friends. They have accepted his hobby of moth trapping and met his individual dietary requirements. There is a happy family atmosphere.
Thank you so much for taking the time to leave us such lovely feedback. We are so pleased to hear you are fulfilled with Copper Beech and the care they are providing. Thank you for trusting us with your Dad's care.
I enjoyed a comfortable and successful convalescence. All members of staff, nursing and others were helpful and attentive, always ready to do the little extra which means so much. I enjoyed the friendly atmosphere.
Thank you for the lovely feedback. We are very happy to hear you enjoyed your stay with us. Hope to see you again in the future!

Meet the Team (1)

I have been working for Bupa since February 2022. I started as a peripatetic manager and I am currently working as the registered home manager at Copper Beech.
I have been working in the care sector for the last 20 years. I was always passionate about caring for people especially elderly vulnerable adults who really need support. As a result, I started to work in the care sector. I worked as a team leader, deputy manager, home manager and regional support manager for various organisations.
I have managed nursing homes, dementia residential homes and learning disability homes during my career and also worked as a regional support manager overseeing three nursing homes before I joined Bupa.
I really enjoy making a difference in and improving our residents' quality of life.
Outside of work, I am married with children. My hobbies include music and travelling. I like to play the guitar in my own time, travel to new places and spend time with my family.
