Since my uncle has been a resident at Green Gates Care Home his health and wellbeing have improved massively. In a way that I didn't think was possible. The staff are very good at helping with any issues that he has had and very accomidating to his learning disabilities. I can't thank the staff
enough.

My father moved to Green Gates a month ago. We have been very happy with the level of care. The staff are friendly and caring. The administration if efficient. My father has a lovely light room overlooking the garden. He always looks clean and tidy and well dressed. He is encouraged to eat lunch in
the dining room which is a good thing and he seems very content at Green Gates. It is reassuring for the family to know that he is being well looked after.

Staff are enthusiastic and a mainly happy bunch however they (some) do need training. 1) Providing food with all extras (sugar milk etc) 2) Presurvation of privacy. Some walk into rooms without requesting to request entry. Food is erratic. Meals are not always what was ordered or requested.

So happy with care and thoughtfulness around situation Keith and myself have found ourselves in. The genuine care of a minimal number of some care staff can be hit and miss, but any issues raised are addressed effectively and quickly. A brilliant professional and additionally friendly atmosphere.

All the care home staff are very friendly and encouraging. As an 'old bird' of 88 and having looked after elderly parents in law and my mother (who lived until 101 1/2!) and having prayed for a lot of troubled people with severe childhood problems and a lack of love, it is now a great privilege to
be so kindly treated, even if I feel about 2 or 5 years old!! So thank you for all the wonderful care I receive.

My sister spent over 2 years at Green Gates, until she died earlier this month. During this time the care she received was exemplary. Although we could not visit fequenty because of distance we knew that she was in good hands. Despite lack of mobility she was able to enjoy luncing with other
residents and take part in the activities which were arranged, being able to have lunch with her on our visits was a particular pleasure.

My experience at the Green Gates Care Home has been exceptional in all areas. The staff are so friendly and management are very efficient. I'm very happy here.

Staff are kind and caring, looking after my aunt for 9 years. Always a happy atmosphere at given dates.

My mother lived at Green Gates for nearly two years until she passed away aged 100 earlier this month, and I cannot praise enough the quality of the care she received during this time. The staff looked after her with kindness and respect, she was always spotlessly clean, and she joined the various
activities which are arranged each day. The food was excellent, and she enjoyed eating her lunches with other residents in the very pleasant dining room at the front of the house. Qualified staff dealt with her various health and medication needs.
Thank you to all the staff at Green Gates.

I was impressed from my first visit to Green Gates Care Home with the friendliness of the staff. I found Green Gates warm, comfortable and homely. The care my resident is recieving seems to be very good and the staff are very kind and caring.

We are very happy with the care provided at Greengates Care home for our elderly friend. We visit him twice a week and are pleased that he is getting the care he needs just now. He has a lovely bright room, excellent bed and easy access to bathroom. The staff are cheerfull, polite and respectful. I
like the fact that he is kept mobile and encouraged to come down stairs for his main meal each day.

My sister has been living at Green Gates for two years. She took time to adjust to the change but is content and very settled there. The staff are kind, helpful and take good care of the residents. I do not live near but I can always have lunch with my sister when I visit. There are stimulating
activities and visits from students at a nearby school. I am reassured by the level of care she receives there and the general atmosphere.

I am very happy with way Dave is looked after. He enjoys his good and he seems to be happy with way he is looked after.

The home is a very pleasant place to sit after you have had a meal. There are two lounges to choose from. My husband was taken ill recently by the paramedics and ambulance people were very kind and came very quickly. The nurse here and the care staff helped them to make sure he was comfortable until
they took him to hospital.

The home is welcoming when I arrive and staff find time to answer any questions or concerns we may have which is very helpful as we live some distance from Oxford.
For example the Head of Home recently contacted the residents' GP on our behalf to discuss a complex issue, and came back very quickly
with the response and further advice.
The nursing staff seem kind.

My husband has been in Green Gates for one month. We find the staff very caring , considerate and extremely friendly. Nothing seems too much trouble for them. I think the idea of being able to visit my husband anytime and at my convenience is marvelous.

My son has been in Green Gates for four months following a severe haemorrhagic stroke, and he has been very well looked after by all the lovely nurses and carers who have to do so much for him. They are unfailingly kind and cheerful, and indeed all the staff are friendly and ready to help, creating
a good atmosphere in the home.

The home itself seems comfortable and well run with a beautiful outdoor area. The staff appear to be attentive and caring and the resident seems to be happy and contented. Frequent visits from a doctor, a chiropodist and a hairdresser are very welcome.

Visiting mum on a warm Sunday afternoon. Sleeping and comfy. Blind with dementia. Staff excellent. A difficult job but good team work. This is mum's home.
