I am very happy with the care being given to my dad. They keep Dad clean and comfortable. All the staff are respectful, approachable, and very welcoming to me as family. Everyone is happy to answer questions and tailor Dad's care to his changing needs. I feel lucky to have found Abbey Chase for my

After several bad experiences with care homes, it's such a relief to find Abbey chase for my grandmother. After an accident in hospital my grandmother unfortunately had to go into permanent residential care which has been quite difficult for us as a family to come to terms with. However Abbey chase
has made the experience and transition as smooth as possible. The entire team treat her like family and we feel confident in her care there which hasn't been the case elsewhere. She is treated with respect, love and dignity which we think is so important. They are open with communication and recommendations and have been a great help throughout our experience. My grandmother has settled in well and seems very happy with her surroundings and new extended family. We would highly recommend Abbey Chase Nursing Home. Thankyou Maria, Gino and the team!

As a family we have been told nightmare stories about care homes and were so worried about leaving our mum in one. However, Abbey Chase have been amazing! All of the management, staff, carers and even kitchen staff were so kind, caring, smiley and happy. We can't thank each and every one of them
enough for the love and support they showed our 83 year old mum and wouldn't hesitate in recommending this care home for any future resident who is in need of round the clock care. Even the food was tasty! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for taking such good care of our beautiful little mum!

Warm, welcoming staff in a spacious, bright environment. Ensure the safety, comfort and welfare of all the residents. Nothing is too much for the staff who are supportive of residents and visitors. An excellent nursing home.

My mother-in-law (ages 96) moved into Abbey Chase after a period in hospital following falls. She settled very quickly; she found the home very clean and the staff very caring, always ready to help. She enjoyed the food. I found the management team really helpful when making plans for the future, as
I was not used to the system. Mother-in-law enjoyed the activities laid on, and was always kept busy with colouring etc. Would recommend the home to anyone needing short term care.

We moved my mother in law into Abbey Chase 3 weeks ago. During a particularly difficult time because my father in law was suffering from chronic kidney failure (sadly he has subsequently died) and was being cared for at hospital we needed to find a suitable cate home for her as she was unable to
look after herself. The management have been exceptionally helpful in sorting all manner of admin and logistics out - all done with care, compassion and love. We have found the same qualities to be on show with my mother in law's stay at the care home. Thank you very much.

Abbey Chase is a wonderful place which is managed and run by a fantastic team. It sits in beautiful grounds with a stream and natural forest area. The staff, care for, talk to, listen to and help every resident. The managers know every resident well. There are activities every day and the residents
sit in a communal room which looks onto the beautiful grounds. At lunch everyone sits in a beautifully set dining hall more like a hotel and the food is delicious. Everywhere in the home is unbelievably spotless and smells clean and fresh at all times. The bedrooms are modern, homely and bright.
My mum suffers from dementia and the staff are kind and empathetic, seeing to her living needs and speaking to her with friendliness and respect. She loves the company and smiling faces, it really has a warm, safe feel and the staff feel like a family, helping each other and joining in. It has proved to be the best choice for all of us.

My husband and I had looked around many care homes and also asked around our friends. Having been given the name of Abbey Chase, we visited. Immediately, we loved the amazingly friendly and caring staff and feel of the home. The rooms and grounds are so pretty. My mother has been in there a couple
of weeks now and she is incredibly well cared for. The relief is massive and we cannot be more grateful and pleased. Lastly (and more importantly) the lovely manager at the home has been so wonderfully supportive, helpful and kind which led us to trust in her expertise. She has shown us great empathy at this time and generously given of her time. Thank you.

The staff at Abbey Chase are all lovely and have worked very hard to help my husband settle. He has dementia and their kindness and patience has helped him become calm and settled.There is a lovely atmosphere throughout the home. The grounds are beautiful and we have enjoyed many walks outside where
the many trees, river, wildlife and fishpond make is special experience. Thank you to everyone for their hard work and kindness.

I have been in here for four weeks.The staff were all pleasant and caring. My stay here has been excellent. All my medication was given at the correct time. The rooms were clean and the beds very comfortable.

I would recommend Abbey Chase to anyone whose parents need care. All the staff are unbelievable, friendly, caring and so supportive. I can't praise them enough, from management down to all the staff.

My husband is looked after better than I could ever imagine. He is cleaned every day with fresh clothes and fed amazing food whenever he wants it.
The staff and management are amazing and treat him like family. We love Abbey Chase and all the staff.

We, as a family, can not emphasise how caring and passionate all the staff have been whilst supporting our mother on her final journey. Every staff member, at all levels, always demonstrated caring, compassion and professionalism throughout our mother's stay at Abbey and we would have no hesitation
in recommending it. The staff should be recognised for all the hard work they do, sometimes in very difficult circumstances. Thank you all.

Since my dad has been at Abby Chase we have noticed a great difference in him.The staff are so attentive to all residents. They are fed very well 3 times daily with constant tea of coffee, cakes, biscuits in between. We feel very satisfied that his care and needs are met all the time which is a big
relief.

My father was taken into the complex care unit in December 2024 from hospital. He was scared and confused as was I, but we were entirely supported by the kindness and expertise of the management team and supervisors. They dealt with a difficult behavioural time for my dad and an emotional time for
me with love, understanding and compassion. The management team are down to earth, yet professional - I felt like my father's care and my well-being were in capable hands.

My father-in-law received very good care whilst at Abbey Chase. I found the facilities to be very clean and it smelt good. Every one greeted us with a smile and engaged with us in hello's and goodbyes. The managers were very friendly and supportive, always finding time to deal with our concerns and
answered our questions knowledgeably. It promotes a feeling of calm there.

I felt relieved and very pleased to bring my mum to Abbey Chase. Her hospital experience was degrading and horrendous. I feel reassured that my mum is being looked after by people who care, from the cleaners to the carers and nurses and management staff, they are approachable and helpful.
