My mum has been in Ashley Park for over 4 years now and is very settled. The staff are very friendly and although my mum is pretty deaf she enjoys her interactions with the staff. She enjoys the food and the medical care is excellent. The reception staff are very welcoming and friendly. My sense is
that my mum is very much cared for at Ashley Park

My mother (90) has been a resident at Ashley Park for over 2 years. I'm so thankful for the care and support Mum is receiving and it's lovely to see how happy and settled she is. Victoria is a very kind and hands-on Home Manager and she has a great support team, many of whom have worked there for
many years. Karen the chef goes above and beyond with the food and was instrumental in helping Mum regain her strength after many months in hospital when she arrived.
The home is located in beautiful grounds, giving residents additional space to enjoy outside their rooms, lounges and dining area. My mother is a smoker, so she is able to go to the dedicated smokers area outside, which doesn't disturb other residents. There is always a cheerful and caring vibe at the home, with carers always available to help and assist.
I have peace of mind knowing my mother is happy and well looked after. Thank you everyone at Ashley Park x

At Ashley Park we found an excellent carehome for my mother, safe, caring, cosy atmosphere, friendly staff with outstanding patience and dedication. I live abroad and always feel the warm greetings I receive everytime I come to visit. A very "big"thank you to one and all.

Easy parking. Lovely environment. Good food.

My sister was offered a place in Ashley Park in Feb 2023 after a series of falls and hospital stays left her unable to live alone. My first visit there left me with enormous relief as experiences of care homes previously had not been good. The day she arrived there my sister was met by smiles and
kindness.
She loves the meals and all the daily activities.
There are frequent mini bus trips out for those able to travel even going iceskating!! The daily care is very good and nursing team excellent. As a relative I am kept updated and also made to feel one of the "family".
Places in residential care are hard to come by and I would recommend anyone offered Ashley Park to consider it most favourably.

I cannot speak highly enough of the very warm welcome my very elderly Aunt, myself and wife received when she took up residency at Ashley Park last week. After a long period of living in the same location followed by a period of time in Hospital, naturally we were all concerned about what the future
held, we needn't of been the care, understanding and the ease at which we were made to feel was exemplary. Ashley Park has such a warm feel to it nothing seems to be too much trouble, running through from the Home Manager through the whole team, from encouraging her too become more mobile, joining in group activities, having lost considerable weight providing meals which are increasing her appetite. When we leave after our regular visits we know she is safe and being looked after. Thank-you

Ashley Park is a lovely Care home with friendly caring and compassionate staff. My mother reecently stayed at the home for some respite care and was treated with a great deal of respect and consideration.
The Chef spent time discussing with mum, her meal preferences and made a special effort to
encourage her to eat as she has a very small appetite.
The carers are very helpful and responsive and always cheerful and encouraging as are the nursing team who are very conscientious and efficient. The visiting doctor was also incredibly supportive and sorted out some medication requested very quickly.
The Home Manager runs the home very well and is extremely approachable and responsive.
Mum will shortly be returning to Ashley House for a longer stay.

From the moment we arrived to visit Ashley Park looking for respite care for my 92 year old mother we were made to feel so welcome and supported as a family. Moving her in just two days later included a full staff welcome on arrival, was a very positive experience and she settled quickly. Staff are
extremely friendly, caring and nothing is too much trouble, my sister and I feel so grateful for the support from the team. Whilst mum doesn't often participate as she likes her own company, there are lots of activities offered, the grounds are beautiful and events like the VE Day celebrations and the recent Mad Hatters tea party were enjoyed by us all. We really appreciate the extra mile the team go to caring for the residents. Thank you!

My mum has been a resident for nearly six months, following a fall at home and an extended stay in hospital. The building is welcoming, warm and comfortable, the grounds beautiful and the food delicious - but it is the staff that make Ashley Park. The effort made by all staff, from Reception and
Administration, Catering and Maintenance and of course Nursing and Care staff to make Residents feel welcome, cared for and at home is really special. My family are really pleased we (with mum) chose Ashley Park. She is very happy there.

I am hugely grateful to all the staff and carers at Ashley Park for being so kind and generous with their time and attention to my father.
The home offers a wonderful environment and a calm and supportive atmosphere in a beautiful setting.
I always enjoy seeing the peacocks roaming in the
gardens and it's lovely to see the residents enjoying the gardens too when the weather allows.

I had a short stay at Ashley Park from May to July with a fractured knee the staff were very good, kind, and very patient as I was bed-bound for a short time but they got me back on my feet and walking around the grounds, the chef was very accommodating with my food, the room overlooked the lawn
with the peacock visiting outside my window most days, the doctor came on a Monday if I needed him but the nurses did a very good job as well, it was good to have a hairdresser and different activities to do each day if you wanted to join in but you were not forced to join in. All in all everyone and everything was a good experience if I need to go into a care home again I would choose Ashley Park.

My mother came to Ashley Park following a fall at home and whilst mourning the loss of my dad a few months earlier. During her time at Ashley Park, she was treated with respect and dignity with staff going above and beyond to try and cater to her needs when she allowed them to. Thank you to everyone
for giving her the love and care she deserved.

The manager and her team were very welcoming when we visited for the first time. The manager spent time explaining all about the care home, the activities that are run there and the day-to-day care for residents.
The setting is lovely, and the staff are pleasant. As a family, we were very grateful
for the care and support while Dad was at Ashley Park Care Home.

Beautiful home but it's the staff that make it. No job is too big or too small for them. Staff are caring, attentive and very friendly.
My uncle has been happy and well looked after, we really couldn't ask for a better place.

I have a relative who resides at Ashley Park, and I will often visit. The house itself and the grounds are beautiful.

Mum has been at Ashley Park for over a year. We were very anxious as Mum did not want to go into a care home but the manager and her team were very helpful and the transition was very smooth. Mum has settled in now and is happy and content. The home is clean friendly inviting and the staff caring.
There is entertainment and events for the residents and families. The food cooked on the premises by a chef is nutritious and tasty, we have had lunch with Mum and they have been good. We had a Christmas family get-together at Ashley Park and we thoroughly enjoyed our day with Mum. It felt like we were all back at Mum’s enjoying our family get-togethers. Mum was very happy. The lunch with the same menu as the residents was excellent. Thank you all for making our day a memorable one.

My mother moved into Ashley Park for respite care after a hip/leg break.
The staff have been excellent and have made my mother feel at home and kept her spirits up as she struggled with her lack of independence. We have been very happy with the care and have extended her stay.

For us, as much as the grounds, the building, and the location have a tranquillity about them, it's the team at Ashley Park that stood out during my grandmother's stay this year. From the minute we walked in the door (my mother went every day for 3.5 months), we were greeted with compassion and
great care. The front-of-house team went above and beyond to be gentle, kind, sensitive, and above all, mindful of the circumstances. My grandmother sadly had a harrowing end-of-life experience, and the doctors, nurses, carers, and management team took so much care of her it brought us all some peace. My grandmother repeatedly said, "they take such good care of me; they are so good to me", despite her pain and extenuating circumstances. We hold the entire team at Ashley Park, including external agency nurses specializing in end-of-life care, in the highest regard and with the utmost respect. We would recommend Ashley Park without hesitation.
