What an outstanding care home with staff who genuinly care. My Uncle Spencer has been a resident at Wingham court for over 22 years. A brain injury suffered around 23 years ago left him with physical and mental disabilities, requiring around the clock care. The staff at Wingham Court gave him
exactly that. He had his own room with his personal belongings where he could listen to his music and watch tv. He enjoyed joining in the activities on offer including indoor games and activities, day trips out and was the first to sing along to the Elvis tribute act!
Wingham Court provided Spencers family with the knowledge that that he was 100% safe in their care, which is a families main concern. Spencers condition deteriorated recently, with him passing away in hospital in the last week of May. Even in his passing, the staff have showed genuine compassion and kindness. On behalf of The Thomas family I would like to thank them all for taking such great care of Spencer over the years.

We felt supported, the care home feels homely, and my father has been a resident for 20 years! The staff are always friendly, helpful and attentive. Throughout the meeting, nothing was too much trouble.The care home has always felt like a second home, safe and loving as an enviroment which is
essential for the nature of a care home. Thank you.

I belive since we have more than one manager who works together the entire set of problems can be setted plus we get an activity team who makes sure that the residents are never left felt alone and are nice and understanding and correspond and there is a lot of teamwork.

I came here with real nervousness. It was my first experience of a care home and I bought my wife here, initially for Respite but it morphed into permanent because of the nature of her complex neurological illness. From Day 1 the staff have been so supportive of my wife's needs. No effort spared
to make sure she's comfortable and stable. Care workers, nurses,, physios, admin, management have all gone far beyond what I had expected.
It's very difficult to recommend a care home, as I hope you never need one. I certainly didn't. plan for one But if you do, Wingham Court is excellent. Beautiful grounds, walking distance to cafes, and free hot drinks!

I visited my friend at Wingham Court and was immediately impressed with the cleanliness of the home. All staff were friendly and so helpful. I found my friend enjoying an activity. I sat with my friend for lunch, which both smelt and looked delicious. I would recommend Wingham 100%, as would my
friend. The only thing that she said was they recently cut the staff on her unit.

Carers are always friendly and polite and do their best to everyone, Mark is well looked after. Although always busy they always make time to welcome us.

Friendly, helpful, polite carers. The staff have a lot of patience with residents and Visitors.

My auntie in law is very well looked after here.The staff members are very helpful and treats her very well. Always organising lovely events for special occasions for the residents. They are lovely and very friendly.

Wingham Court continues to provide excellent care to our daughter who lives with a serious brain injury. Recently the care and kitchen staff have worked really well in supervising a very successful weight loss programme. The food is very good and varied and our daughter has continued to eat very
well, with lower calorie meals.

I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the staff at Wingham Court for the care my dad has received. The team have been consistently kind, compassionate and attentive, treating him with dignity and respect at all times.
Communication has been excellent, and staff have been responsive and
open to feedback, actively taking on suggestions and making improvements where needed. It has been reassuring to see how approachable and professional the team are, and how genuinely invested they are in providing high-quality, person-centred care.
Knowing that my dad is being well looked after has given our family great peace of mind. Thank you to everyone at Wingham Court for your continued dedication and care.

On entering the home, immediately aware of a warm, welcoming and caring atmosphere. A great welcome at the reception was repeated by every member of staff on my way to my friend's room. Her room is a very nice size, and very clean and tidy. There are lots of her mementoes, including family photos,
giving a very personal, homely feel to her room. I am very impressed with the staffing ratio to residents at lunchtime.

I always find Wingham Court Care Home excellent. The staff are friendly and helpful. They go out of their way to provide arrange of activities for the variety of residents. The place is kept spotless and nothing is too much trouble.

My daughter was moved to Wingham Court from hospital in October 2024. She has been cared for very well by the staff. It seems to be a well run competent care home. As she is disabled she is very pleased to be offered days out and trips to the local shops. It is a well run and experienced home.

Having been my 1st visit I'm very impressed with the level of care my mum has received already.
I look forward to how her time here is.
