A wonderful place for my father to live. The staff are fantastic and genuinely care for the residents. The food is excellent and plentiful and the special occasion cakes are amazing. There are always plenty of activities and families are encouraged to join in with the residents especially on special occasions.
3 months into my mother-in-law's stay here at Jubilee House, she is a changed person. Thank you, Jubilee, for your kindness towards her. Your activities are amazing and nice for the relations of the families to join in too
My wife moved into full time care at Jubilee House in mid-May and has begun to settle in really well. Inevitably the major change of leaving home was very disruptive to her but the friendly and professional Jubilee House team took it all in their stride and she is now much more cheerful and making friends among both the staff and her fellow residents. I was very impressed that, with involvement of the local surgery, they immediately set about reviewing and adjusting her medication to ensure that she had the best combination possible. This inevitably takes time but is already showing results. I love the way that Jubilee House encourages the involvement of friends and relatives which makes it easy to observe just how well the whole organisation operates. At a recent party to which I was invited, it was a delight to see how all the staff focussed on the enjoyment and involvement of the residents. Jubilee House richly deserves its many 'Outstanding' ratings.
My husband has been here for a fortnight and has been very happy, so I am happy too. The manager and staff are very nice. What more is there to say! Will definitely come back for more respite.
Very nice home. Husband very well looked after.
My mother had a heart attack early March so we were unprepared for the challenges associated with such a tragedy. Jubilee House has taken away all the logistical nightmares and have made this transition very easy for my mother and us. Many many thanks.
Staff are always willing to engage and talk to me about my sister. All staff know who she is. I am regularly (weekly) updated with my sister's progress and anything that comes up in between I am notified straight away. There is always a welcome and immediate access to my sister no matter when I turn up. I am always impressed with the care every member of staff takes.
A home away from home. As soon as I got inside the care home I felt like home. The manager was there in troubled times for my family offering his support and kindness. The team is very supportive and kind with a friendly approach
Needed emergency care and Jubilee House helped, they came and assessed the situation had a room and was able to take my family member the next day. I was happy with the service and have been happy with the care and compassion the whole family have received. We are kept informed and can visit whenever we like and can also take family memeber out into the community.
The Jubilee staff were welcoming when my aunt moved in 2 years ago. She had mild dementia and the care she was given was excellent. I would recommend Jubilee House to anyone with a family member needing safe care in old age.
My mother entered Jubilee House in December in palliative care. The staff were fantastic. From the moment the manager came to assess mum, through admission and settling in, nothing was too much trouble. She is now in good hands, safe, well fed and her medication well organised. As we approach end of life, they have again been superb, with sensitive and caring support both for mum and the family. Just a wonderful place for the elderly.
Very good care, always kept up to day with any medical care, clean and cheerful environment and team.
I couldn't say thank you enough to all the staff at Jubilee House for the care of my grandmother through her last years with dementia. Everyone was always so lovely, prioritizing her every need and ensuring she was comfortable, especially in her final months when she lost mobility. It provided me and my family so much comfort knowing she was comfortable and surrounded by people in a similar situation, being looked after by people who knew how to best take care of her. Thank you so so much Jubilee House, your kindness and care will not be forgotten for how much support you provided both my nan but also all of our family throughout her time at Jubilee House.
Jubilee House was home to Mum for almost 3 years and it has been wonderful. All staff, each and everyone has been amazing, the care, dedication, compassion, communication, and genuine kindness have been second to none. I could not have asked for a more perfect home for my dear mum. Jubilee House in my eyes is a wonderful care home where all staff do their best, all of the time with beautiful smiles on their faces. Well done Jubilee House and thank you so much!
Mum has been a resident of Jubilee House for 18 months. The standard of nursing care is excellent and the carers are just that - they care. Brilliantly. The staff are very professional, attentive to her, and inclusive of me and my sister in her care. We are confident that she is well looked after when we are not there, which is so important. I would not hesitate to recommend Jubilee House to anyone facing the hard and often confusing decision of choosing a care home. I have sung its praises many times.
We are very happy with the care at Jubilee House. The team is amazing, always smiling and welcoming our visits any time of the day. They treat all the residents with care and dignity and meet their individual needs. There is very little staff turn over so the care is of a consistently high standard. The communication is great, with frequent updates. The activities program is lovely and varied. The home is always lovely and clean and well looked after. We feel very happy with all aspects.
My mum has been in Jubilee House since June 2023 and has always been treated with respect and care. The staff are totally dedicated to all the residents, colleagues, and visitors, addressing us always by name. The staff keep me well informed of her medical care and are always available to talk over any concerns I may have. The staff over the months have tried to get Mum involved in activities when she would allow and stayed calm with understanding when Mum has not been the easiest always complementing her, even when fighting like as I quote like a tiger. It's always clean tidy and airy and pleasant to visit. A wonderful place in my eyes.
Our Mum has been at Jubilee House since last January 2024. We are super happy with the quality of her care and with all our communications and interactions with the team. All staff at Jubilee House are: *Personable and caring about what they do and the service they provide. *Consistently professional. *Consistently responsive. *Knowledgeable about dementia, *Sensitive, and emotionally intelligent. *Helpful. This is a provider of exceptional customer experience and service.
My Sister Serena has been a resident at Jubilee House for 2 and a half years. Throughout this time whilst visiting her, I have witnessed the staff and carers showing her incredible love and attention. Having had a career as a nurse myself for many years I am well placed to recognise true and proper care of the infirm and those that need considerable attention and looking after. All the staff and carers at Jubilee House, from the Managers, caterers, and domestics are amazing in all that they do, and I can't thank them enough. We are notified immediately if there is any concern over Serena's health and well-being and kept up-to-date of any changes in her medication and general health. In my opinion, Jubilee House should be recognised for the excellence of their care and ability, as their work and conduct are ultra-exemplary, and I wouldn't want my sister to be cared for anywhere else.
My dad was at Jubilee House for almost 3 years and my sisters, brother and I were very happy with the great care he was given. The staff were always so kind to him and we felt that he was treated with genuine affection. The staff really seemed to get his character and would share a joke with him or, in the case of the activities staff, whatever he could manage on the day, even if it was just a bit of quiet time with him, particularly after the loss of my mum. We were always reassured by the fact that there seems to be a low staff turnover and many of the nurses and care assistants that were there when he entered the home are still there nearly 3 years later. That's a testament to a well-run home with a good, caring team.
