My friend has been in Virginia Water Care Home for around 14 months now. She is in the dementia care unit. Everything to keep her comfortable, safe and feel valued has been done for her, sometimes over and above. This last visit was and open evening with food and entertainment. All was top class and
my friend had a wonderful time.

I'd like to express my gratitude for the care my father received at the end of his life.
Having been in a prior home Virginia Water was so much better. The staff seemed happy to be there and the place felt comfortable and relaxing. The carers also seemed very happy and able to deal with my father
and showed genuine affection.

I always feel comfortable when visiting my friend. Good atmosphere clean - spacious, hospitality good. Staff very happy and helpful, kind. The staff make the visitors very welcome.

My friend has lived here for several years and has been well cared for. The standard of hygiene and catering is very high. Inevitably their have been some issues arising but these have been resolved by the manager very well. As a visitor, I have always felt welcome and confident that my dear friend
well cared for. My only reservation is the high costs.

I've been a volunteer at Virginia Water care home since February 2026 and never had an issue. In fact, I have been quite happy volunteering there every weekend. Both the staff and residents are welcoming, and I truly felt like I was entering a second family. I enjoy coming here every Saturday,
knowing I will be greeted by lovely faces, happy to spend time together and share stories. Whether it's helping with activities or simply having a conversation, every visit feels meaningful and rewarding. Volunteering here has not only allowed me to give back to the community, but it has also brought me a great deal of joy and experience for my future. It is a truly wonderful and positive environment.

Mum went into the home for respite, she loved it, we love it, food is fantastic, carers exceptional, they have such a good time. She has now been there a year, and has been very well looked after, no worrying about her, just amazing visits. Thank you to all the staff, for their care to her she
is 101 next month.

I find Virginia Water Care Home to be an exceptionally kind and thoughtful environment for the purposes of respite care on a temporary basis. The staff are helpful, understanding and solicitous. Every effort is made to provide stimulation and a pleasant stay for residents. The standard of care is
high, safety is a priority; food is nutritious and great attention is paid to cleanliness/hygiene there are plenty of people to talk to for company.

I made an enquiry for my very dear friend for some respite care. James was so accommodating and amazing and sorted out a wonderful room for Iris and has looked after her and made her feel so welcome. The staff have been so lovely, kind and looked after her as she is quite shy and when I visited
last week she was in the lounge plying carpet bowls! She has loved her time so much that she ow does not want to go home and stay where she is! I could not recommend Avery Virginia Water any higher and if you are thinking about a care home this is exceptional. The food is outstanding, the staff wonderful, the activities so well organised and nothing is too much. Thank you so very much for changing my friend's life so much - I have not seen her this happy for such a long time.

My mum has been in the care home for a month now. I was very anxious to have mum in a home as there is nothing compared to looking after a relative as a loved one, but i can honestly say Virginia Water staff are like a family to my mum, they have been wonderful, caring and supportive to my mum and

My mother went into the home on 10th July 2025 as was very upset at having to leave her own home. The staff made her so welcome and nothing is to much trouble. The food is outstanding and the daily programme of activities is really good and my mother has enjoyed joining in with the other residents.
She has had a few wobbles since she has been there but the staff have been fantastic at calming her down and putting her mind at rest. My sister and I were worried about how she would cope but are so pleased with how everything has gone. It has given us peace of mind knowing that she is receiving such good care and there is always someone there to help and talk to

After my Mother was discharged from rehab hospital after having her hip replaced we found that her existing carers at her home were finding it increasingly difficult to look after her with her restricted mobility. At short notice we needed to find a care home and organised a thorough tour of the
Virginia Water Care Home and organised everything to ensure a smooth transition into the home. All the staff have been very friendly and understanding and we have the comfort of knowing that she is in a safe environment and being well looked after.

The staff have been marvellous in settling my mother into their community. My mother celebrated her 100th birthday not long after moving in, and the staff made sure that her day was extra special for her. They are friendly and welcoming to us, as family and to other visitors who have called in to
see my mother. The staff are on hand to answer any queries we may have, and we are reassured that our mother is being looked after really well.

A really hard family decision last June to move my mum to a care home but we found Virginia Water Care Home and decided it was a lovely place for mum to call home. The care that she has received has been exceptional. We can't fault anything about the home. Always a warm welcome.

At short notice, admin and care staff arranged my visit, a short post operation recovery stay that was impressive, my needs and requirements were met by the amazing staff across the home. Being "looked after" so well meant I could concentrate on my post op recovery and rehab. A mix up over end day
of stay was no more than unfortunate. All my expectations were met.

I have always been able to rely on Virginia Water for respite stays for my husband throughout the year. As sole carer it provides me with the comfort of knowing he is safe and well cared for when I need a break. I would highly recommend their home and team.

Due to being released from hospital I had to have respite for 2 weeks. Lovely care home felt very comfortable there. Staff very respectable. If I had to return for another stay I would not find it a problem.

I came to this care home firstly for respite after a fall. Although I did go back home I soon realised that the care I needed and wanted was best at Virginia Water Care Home. I feel safe, very comfortable, and well cared for by the staff. It is hard to give up your home but I am settled here and
that means a lot.

My 91-year-old Father has settled wonderfully after coming for a 2-week respite break 6 months ago. The staff are incredibly caring and go out of their way to be helpful. There is a lovely atmosphere with plenty of fun activities to keep residents busy and happy. The care support provided is
excellent with a weekly session from a local GP to attend to health problems quickly. Since coming to Virginia Water Care Home my Dad's health has improved and he is enjoying things so much more. I can sleep at night knowing he is well looked after.

I was referred to Virginia Water Care Home about 8 weeks ago. Since arriving I have been looked after extremely well in a courteous manner at all times. All food and facilities have been exceptional.

My family and I are so pleased with the care provided for Mum's 2nd respite visit. The staff are so kind and thoughtful and made Mum's stay enjoyable. Virgina Water Care Home is clean and tidy and the facilities provided for the residents are lovely.
The whole day feels relaxed and the activities
well organised. The staff are always at hand and take care of everyone there making their stay special. They are kind and caring with all the residents and seem to go above and beyond what is expected.
I would recommend Virginia Water Care Home to anyone I know. Mum enjoys going and can't wait for her next stay.

A really hard family decision last June to move my mum to a care home but we found Virginia Water Care Home and decided it was a lovely place for mum to call home. The care that she has received has been exceptional. We can't fault anything about the home. Always a warm welcome.
