I have been very impressed with Sutton Lodge; the staff are caring, cheerful and considerate, and the homely atmosphere and good food has been a very positive experience so far. Staff regularly come to check on my Dad whether he's in his room or in the sitting room.

My father spent his last 3 months at Sutton Lodge and the family were very happy with the care that he received.
There is something special about the care at Sutton Lodge which we noticed on our first visit. The staff really do care and it shows. It was a difficult time for everyone and they
supported not only my Dad but the whole family.

What a lovely home the care team (carers) is absolutely amazing and can't be praised enough with how hard they work to make all the residents feel unique and individual and safe !!
All of the carers most definitely live up to title and CARE
My dad was always complimenting all the carers and how
they made him feel like nothing was too much and always saying that he knew they were rushed off their feet but they never showed it
I literally can't express my extreme gratitude for the whole care team (carers)
And the amazing new manger who is always available and has a smile on her face I think she's a fantastic addition to Sutton lodge
I would also like to thank a nurse punam who was very knowledgeable and made me and my family at ease top notch nurse
So caring and supportive and is definitely A*
Once again I'm so thankful

My mother-in-law moved into Sutton Lodge after the death of her husband. She has mobility issues but a sound mind. There were some teething issues she has her own long-standing routine, but the issues settled down. She loves the activities and finds the staff attentive and kind. The only outstanding
issue is with the medication which some (not all) staff seem to get wrong occasionally.

I would like to thank all the team at Sutton Lodge Care Home for their hard work and smiles - they are amazing! They create such a lovely family atmosphere for residents and relatives, and they take their time getting to know the people in their care, treating them all as individuals and celebrating
their talents and interests. I know my lovely mum is well looked after, and for that I am extremely grateful.

Mum was booked in for a 4 week trial after my dad passed away. Mum who has never been in care before I was surprised at how quickly mum settled in. She liked the staff and loved her room. Mum asked me to book in for another 4 weeks with a view to make it permanent (which I have done). I have found
the staff really caring and welcoming. I think mum will stay.

My husband has been a resident at Sutton Lodge since June 2024, and I am always very pleased with the care and support he has received here. Because of his Parkinson's, he does sleep a lot, but always seems happy and content.

The staff are all very kind and friendly and go out of their way to help. I love that they get mum out of bed and dressed every day - in her previous home, she was just left in bed all day in a closed room. Always lots of fun activities even though mum doesn't join in, and quizzes/bingo for
relatives too.

We are quite satisfied with the care received at the home. Most of the staff do all they can to make the stay here happy and to feel well cared for.

I can't recommend Sutton Lodge highly enough. My brother spent his final four weeks there receiving palliative care, and the staff were simply brilliant. Every single person we met was caring, compassionate, and genuinely lovely - it felt like being part of a family. They supported us as relatives
as much as they cared for him, which made an incredibly difficult time so much easier to bear. It was a real comfort and relief to know he was in the very best of hands.

what an amazing care home, from the minute we entered to view, staff are so so friendly, the residents were happy and smiling, My brother in law is so looked after care is top just like with all the other residents!
It does not feel like a care home, but it certainly feels like a home, my brother
in law has settled in know. I just love going there. They are simply the best!

My brother moved into Sutton Lodge in July all the staff could not have been more helpful. My brother is confined to a wheelchair and they make sure he gets out of tis room.

So pleased to see how well looked after and happy all the residents are and how nicely they are treated by all the staff. Even us visitors are treated like family and I have loved coming here to visit a very good friend.

I cannot praise Sutton Lodge highly enough. At such a difficult time they ensured my husband settled in and received the very best care until his death. When I visited the home I knew that it was the right place to entrust my husbands care to. He settled in immediately and due to their
professionalism he was happy from day one. Every member of staff ensures Sutton Lodge becomes an extended family to it's residents. I shall be forever grateful to them for their care and friendship.

I am a retired RGN, and have been volunteering weekly for the past 2 1/2 years, Sutton Lodge is a happy and homely place. Very welcoming and pleasant all residents are treated as members of a "big family". The care is superb with all treated with dignity and respect. Visitors are always welcomed and
enjoy the many activities that take place daily.

The staff are very friendly and always willing to help. The room are nice with an ensuite toilet. They seem to really care about the residents which is really nice.
