Really helpful staff, dad is always clean and well dressed, staff genuinely seem to care about the residents, including reception, house keeping and maintenance staff not just the care workers or medical professionals. The food is always freshly cooked and looks and smells nice. Highly recommend

A really lovely home with staff who genuinely care about their residents. They unfailingly treat my Mum with kindness and respect and I know she's in safe hands which is a huge relief. Highly recommended

Here for respite following hospital stay. Felt better immediately. Caring staff. Food excellent. Chef makes your preferences. Enjoyed hairdressing. Word games, yoga, exercise to musis and bingo!

Just wanting to say how pleased I am that we chose Tupwood when my husband was finally ready to be discharged from hospital six months ago. The whole team from the handymen, to the nurses, cleaners, carers, managers , kitchen staff and activity organiser are all so friendly, helpful and caring and
of course dedicated and skilled. My husband has complex needs and the support they have given to us both is incredible . He loves the food and I love the sense of fun and how everyone is so approachable. Thank you Busi & Tully.

My husband had been a resident Tupwood Gate for over 3 years
Over this time he has been well cared for in a kind and respectful manner. All staff in all departments have been friendly and helpful at all times to both of us,There is a warm homely atmosphere within the home . In more recent times when
my husbands health was failing he was well cared for in all respects and his care wishes respected.I would recommend Tupwood Gate to people wanting to feel part of a community and in comfortable surroundings . There is also a lovely garden which residents enjoy in better weather.

The staff team at Tupwood Gate Nursing Home are fantastic going the 'extra mile' to support mum. The entertainment team ensure residents enjoy different activities 6 days each week. Mum also really enjoys the singers and musicians that visit regularly.
I am confident that mums healthcare needs
are met and the nursing, care and management team are approachable if I have any concerns or queries about her needs.
I can understand why the home was shortlisted and in the National finals for the best in palliative care support. Well done Tupwood and thanks.

The whole team at Tupwood Gate are amazing. We booked our elderly neighbour in for respite after having a hip replacement. He is 100 years old and just as amazing. We chose Tupwood as my mother-in-law was taken care of there over 7 years ago. Then and now, the staff go above and beyond to care for
the residents. A lot of staff remain from many years ago, which speaks volumes to me. My neighbour was shown a positive attitude to get him back home to looking after himself. Tupood Gate is fantastic.

Wonderful care and nursing staff, nothing too much trouble. Sanitary needs attended to without delay. The home has a cleaning regime that maintains the highest standards possible . The overall facilities are excellent , all food is cooked in their own kitchens, residents entertainment is well
catered for. Car parking is easy with plenty of spare places. And very importantly, Tupwood Gate is a very happy place.

My wife and I visited your care home on Bank Holiday Monday 26th May to see friends currently staying with you.
We were impressed in every respect including your furnishings and cleanliness of the building, the care provided by all staff on duty which included giving us coffee on arrival!
We sat
comfortably for over an hour and was only sorry no one asked us to stay for lunch! The smartness and cheerfulness of all staff and the outstanding helpfulness of the duty receptionist well done

The staff at Tupwood Gate take good care of my Grandmother who has been a resident at the home since August 2024.
The nurses, care staff and managers provide excellent person centred care, we could not ask for more. The staff are caring and compassionate we are very happy with the care that my
grandmother receives.

What a lovely home, my dad calls it his hotel. A great atmosphere and all the staff are lovely. What more could you ask for than a cooked breakfast followed by morning activities, then in to the dinning room for lunch. The conservatory is bright and welcoming and the gardens are a joy when the suns
out. The building is like a stately home rather than the modern purpose built options and I can see myself booking in for a break. Well done all.

Im very happy at the way my husband is being cared for, .on a negative note would like him to receive more liquids , i know its difficult as he has to have help with it!!
Every thing else is very positive and the care is fantastic and he is very happy, all the staff are wonderful and happy

We contacted Tupwood Gate to provide residential palliative care and nursing for my father. The home is clean and friendly and makes the effort to keep residents entertained and engaged. Whilst he was only there for a week, I cannot express enough gratitude for the exceptional care, nursing and
personal attention provided by nurses and carers that he was given during his stay. The management team have been professional and supportive throughout and are friendly and welcoming to all that either visit or are resident. Every aspect has helped provide a great comfort in knowing that he was being cared for during his stay. I would highly recommend Tupwood Gate for its professional care and facilities.

My brother is always suppored with his staff and they really do support my brother getting to know him as well as us his family as his background is complex also I'm impressed with that every where my brother is his staff is with him even when he was in the hospital having surgery the staff stayed
by his bedside and kept up the commucation with myself all of his needs are meet with his best interest in mind and I'm always when iv asked to see the manager it's a pleasure to be for once able to talk about my brother with everything being open nothing is not said and we agree like with his planning on going on holiday

The staff at Tupwood Nursing Home are always welcoming and caring towards both residents and their families. My dad appears very happy and enjoys joining in with activities during the day especially the musical activities.

My Nan moved here after a not-so-pleasant experience in her last care home, and our experience at Tupwood Gate has been nothing short of incredible. My Nan is incredibly well looked after, and I couldn't be happier with the standard of care she is receiving. Every single staff member I've spoken to
has been caring, compassionate and knowledgeable. I am very thankful and grateful to everyone in the home :)

My dad has recently moved in and the staff have been so kind and caring. He is well looked after and there are always plenty of activities planned for him. The staff have taken time to get to know him in a relatively short space of time and are always happy to chat and spend time with him. The food
is excellent and he has access to physio, the doctor and is really getting the proper care he needs. The staff are proactive in making changes to make his stay better.
Everyone has made the wider family welcome too in what has been a very difficult couple of months.

I can only give the whole team at Tupwood Gate Nursing Home a 5 star recommendation. From the moment we phoned up desperate to get our Dad placed there due to a fall my mother had they were beyond great. Nothing was too much of an issue and they got us in late in the evening. All the staff that
helped were brilliant. It was the first time for our dad and he was rightly quite anxious but again the staff were so good he felt right at home. Indeed, he asked for an extra week because he enjoyed it so much. Thank you Tupwood Gate.
