View Full Details of Inglewood Nursing HomeThe staff were always very polite and welcoming. The home has a lovely warm atmosphere. I peaceful and restful place for peoples final days. Thank you all for your kind attention and care of my aunt.
Absolutely amazing! Nothing was ever too much. I especially loved the fact that near the end was obvious my dad could not get out of bed, but even when he asked to sit in the chair, he wasn't fobbed off. He was treated with respect as they would bring the 'alds' in probably knowing full well it wasn't going to happen. I will always be grateful for the dignity and respect my dad was given.
I am relieved that my sister is being so well cared for in her final weeks. She is treated kindly and with respect for her dignity. I am always made to feel welcome by the friendly staff, and I am contacted if there are concerns. As I live at a distance, it is very useful for me to access the App, which gives constant communication about my sister's condition, her nutrition and detailed nursing care.
My mum has only been at Inglewood a short while but has settled in well. This is down to the kind and caring staff who are truly amazing. They have great empathy and always listen if you have any concerns. They show great kindness towards the residents and genuinely care. The setting is lovely with beautiful gardens, and the home is kept well and is clean.
Immediate impressions were of a clean, organised and professional operation. All staff are always polite and cheerful, openly greeting visitors. Staff are always helpful, the quality of staff from the manager, nurses and all support staff is more than sufficient, carrying out their duties professionally. Highly recommended for all care and well-being for patients.
Our relative was very well looked after and it gave us peace of mind in their final months of life. The staff were very friendly and did a great job.
My mum spent the last six months of her life at Inglewood Nursing Home, after experiences in two other local care homes. The staff across all areas were consistently empathetic, patient, and hardworking. A special mention goes to the activities and housekeeping teams, who maintained a genuine human connection with my mother - something so important for her mental well-being. The facilities were always clean and welcoming, and the food was both nutritious and tasty, far better than we had seen elsewhere. We also felt well informed about mum's care plan, with clear communication and a detailed diary tracking her health, which gave us great reassurance. It gave us great comfort to know that mum's final months were spent in a place where she was as happy as her health allowed, and where she was so well cared for. We are very grateful to the whole team.
My husband was transferred from the hospital to Inglewood for palliative end-of-life care and was always treated with the utmost dignity at this stage of his life. From the moment I stepped into the reception, I knew he was in the right place. The management and staff were totally committed to making sure that he received the best possible treatment despite his frailty. I was able to connect to his personal care records, which I found comforting in the knowledge that he was being so well looked after. I cannot thank you enough.
Both receptionists are very welcoming and respectful. All the staff were very caring, friendly and happy to take the time to listen and be supportive. My father was treated with care and consideration. He was treated as a person, not just a room number. I was contacted regularly if there were any concerns with my father's health. I am very grateful to all staff for making my father's last months as comfortable and pleasant as possible.
My family and I cannot thank you enough for the impeccable nursing care offered to my aunt following transfer to Inglewood from hospital over the final 2 weeks of her long life. As a (retired) doctor myself, I am so impressed - absolutely first class, from our first exploratory visit in a state of some distress with the burden of arranging swift transfer from an acute hospital, through to the transfer itself and subsequent beautiful end of life care for my aunt as well as sympathetic and kind interactions with any visiting family. My aunt's comfort and care was clearly paramount for every staff member. I was particularly grateful be able to remotely access her electronic nursing records which were updated at least 3 times per day and offered regular assurance of her ongoing good quality care, including reports of GP visits - and there were also phone calls to alert me to significant changes so that I could keep her (similarly elderly) sisters updated as necessary. Thank you so much.
It has been my experience when visiting my friend that the home is extremely well run. The staff are caring, helpful, friendly and cheerful. They seem to take every care of the residents. Plenty of activity going on physio, exercises etc.
When we realised that dad needed to move into a Nursing Home, we felt like rabbits caught in the headlights and it was a very scary time. There were big decisions for us to make, this was all new to us and we found everything really daunting. If you are in that situation rest assured, Inglewood is a very special nursing home and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend your loved one stay there. The day room is the heart of the home, the TV is amazing and the residents seem to be very happy there. Each day there are activities for the residents to enjoy and the team of experts looking after your loved one 24/7 are all really nice people and highly trained in their area of expertise. The kindness and patience we have seen them show to the residents is second to none. We know that dad is safe and happy at Inglewood and we are most grateful to everyone for taking such good care of him. There are so many positive things to say but most importantly, we have peace of mind.
Most of the regular staff are friendly and caring. However the staff seem stretched at times due to their workload and occasionally need prompting when aspects of personal care are missed. Outside entertainers are good but otherwise hit and miss.
Everything is very good and I and of course my father are very happy with the care that he receives in this comfortable home. I wish there could be some outings for him and perhaps a bit more in the way of visiting musical entertainers.
Having known her for over 40 years, I am very satisfied with the care and kindness being given to my 95 year old friend who came to live at Inglewood Nursing Home in August 2024. She is extremely well looked after, enjoys her food and is very comfortable indeed. The staff are considerate, caring, gentle and have a sense of humour which is important.
My dad was only with you a short time but cannot fault the care and attention he was shown. The staff were excellent and very patient with him.
My dad was at Inglewood for 15 months and the care he got was fantastic. I would highly recommend Inglewood.
My wife was treated excellently and with dignity by all the staff. Would not hesitate to recommend!
Can't thank the staff enough for looking after both my parents. They were all kind and caring to the whole family.
Staff so caring, warm and friendly. Couldn't do enough for Pops. Upon arrival his bed didn't have side rails. They were going to move him to another room but the maintenance man removed the bed and replaced it with another bed which had the rails. Above and beyond.
