Sovereign Lodge Care Home is an open, friendly, welcoming home. It's security is sound, with a code to get in and another code to exit. The ground floor residents lounge is right there as one enters, and its two adjoining rooms give plenty of room for visitors to be with their friends or relatives.
There is a slight shortage of chairs which isn't much of a problem if there aren't too many people. Thankfully we were fine. The staff are helpful and friendly. They are too occupied to offer guests refreshments, but there is a lot for them to do when meal times come around. The furnishings are comfortable. The bedrooms seem to be well appointed.

Whenever I visit everyone is so friendly. It always smells clean and inviting which sometimes can be difficult to control in a care home. The food always looks lovely and the entertainment is perfect for anyone who wishes to join in. I cannot fault the security, the care and the privacy that is
undertaken by everyone. Thank you x

The best establishment I have visited for a long time. Most impressed by the care from all staff, with calm support and how they all support each other. Noticed equipment available to help the residents from chair to wheelchair with little discomfort as possible. Also the number of staff on duty at
any one time. Overall 10+. Thank you all for giving myself a Christmas to remember.

The staff make Sovereign Lodge a special place to be; they never forget that this is the residens home, and they check with residents as to their preference for clothing, meals and activities, Many of the team have worked here for over a decade and they are very dedicated to the residents and are
invested in their care. There is a lovely atmosphere; there is regularly live music and sing-alongs. My dads needs are well met and he is happy and safe. Communication is excellent from all staff. Thanks to Margaret, the manager, and the whole Sovereign Lodge Team.

My sister is a resident at Sovereign Lodge and always says how content she is to be there and how well she is looked after. She enjoys the food, the company, the activities and entertainment. The staff always seem to be aware of her day to day situation and I am kept informed of any changes in her
health, her needs and her welfare. It is a great weight off my mind to know she well cared for, and treated with great patience, kindness, understanding and dignity. The home has a calm and relaxed atmosphere, and I have no hesitation in recommending it to others.

I love Sovereign Lodge and I have been very happy here. I have been here for 10 years and I find the carers and the activities team very kind and they have shown me a great deal of affection. I love my Sovereign Lodge.

I'm finding Sovereign Lodge to be very caring and considerate. My husband has been here since April and he is being given such care by the nurses. All the team are so friendly, be it in the kitchen or nursing, all have time to talk to you. The activities staff are always thinking of new ideas and
have lovely sessions of music and singing!

I currently have three members of my family in Sovereign Lodge. All their needs are catered for & nothing is too much trouble by the carers & management. The activities are varied & the activity staff excellent. Cannot rate them higher than 10 out of 10.

I always find the home to be relaxed and friendly with good accessibility to activities and garden. The staff are always available & accommodating and provide a cheerful atmosphere. There is always a good emphasis on safety without being regimental.

Soverign Lodge Care Home Eastbourne.
The Staff are so Lovely/Friendly. From the moment you arrive you feel a warm welcome. They are a family. Its wonderful to see how the staff are with the residents and their family. The home is clean and they staff couldn't do more for the residents or you. They
have plenty of entertaimen, time in the garden. The food looks lovely. Its Just a wonderful home. I am so greatful to them.

The staff have worked very hard with the daily care and also had Red Nose Day, easter, Fete as extra, well done. I think the way the lunch is set out is very welcoming to the residents.

My experience of Sovereign Lodge is that it is a very caring, warm and friendly place. All the staff are amazing and really look after the residents well. Everyone is treated with kindness and dignity. It is a bright, cheerful environment and the numerous activities bring fun and laughter to all.
Everyone makes the effort to get to know the residents and their families and we are always greeted with a smile and warm welcome. All in all, if your loved one has to go into residential care, Sovereign Lodge is an excellent place to be.
