My aunt has been living in George's for approximately a couple of years. I visit her regularly and always find her appearance clean and well presented. Extra touches are made to ensuring her clothes are colour coordinated and that she is wearing her favourite necklace and perfume. On the odd
occasion when her hair looks a little greasy it is because she has declined to have it washed. When I ask her why she did not have her hair washed she would say she didn't feel like it. My aunt has never had children but I always visit her on Mother's Day. On Sunday I was so touched by the flowers and card the home gave to my aunt. The card said "you are like a mum to us all. Happy Mother's Day". What a wonderful and thoughtful thing to do for an elderly lady who has no children. She was made to feel valued and part of the celebrations. Thank you so much team St George's

I visit St Georges Court once per week to visit a friend. Sometimes we chat in his private bedroom, and sometimes in the communal lounge. Regardless of the location, the space feels clean and well cared for. Staff are always friendly, courteous and on hand, should a medical intervention be required.
My friend really enjoys staying at the care home. He even has his toenails cut and hair styled on a regular basis! I might move in myself one day!

I visit my wife a minimum of 3 times week and I keep a personal record of her position in bed and her unusual pains . She is bed bound and has suffered regular bouts of pain infront of me and sometimes staff .Apparently this is caused by side effects of Multiple Sclerosis, the pain recently is
being eased by the Local GP organising an alternative pain killer to Paracetomol tablets 3 times day, which has signicantly eased my wife's pain record. The nursing and carers are exceptional people ,all are very professional preserving their reputation of the patient has priority. I have witnessed this devotion of many staff delaying normal break times. My wife also suffers from chronic vertigo.so I often witness her having panic attacks while being carefully turned in Bed.and quickly soothed by the carers.Even when being hoisted for weighing purposes. I recommend St Georges Court as a Super Nursing Home to all. If I become permanently ill, I hope I find vacancy in it.

My brother has been at St George Court for 2 years, and he has been very happy here. He is well looked after, and it is obvious that the wonderful staff truly care about him and his wellbeing. They know him very well and always treat him with respect and kindness. I have experienced nothing but
compassion and understanding from all the staff, who are friendly and very good at their jobs. I'm kept informed about issues affecting my brother, and I know I can ask questions and get answers anytime I need to - management are approachable and empathetic, and that feeling of a community runs through the whole care home. I feel very lucky for my brother and myself that this is his home.

They recognise any changes early. They are on top of getting the correct medications. The rooms are cleaned regularly - the room smells clean and fresh. If patient not feeling too good, meals are provided in their room.
Entertainment is varied to suit all residents. Having animals/birds at home
brings joy. They celebrate birthdays/anniversaries.

My mum unexpectedly became a resident following a fall, a rapid deterioration in her memory and a horrible 2 month hospital stay. I was concerned about past reviews and reports but all worries have been dispelled by a very caring and responsive staff. Mum has really enjoyed the wide range of
activities offered and regained much of her pleasure in life and had started to regain weight. She is well cared for and my sister and I are very happy to be kept well informed about her progress and advised about any concerns. They also organised a lovely 90th Birthday for her attended by a few friends and family.

My mum is generally well cared for, staff are kind and helpful, there is a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. There are a lot of activities to join in with and the coordinator is very good at encouraging and enabling people to take part. If my mum is ever out at mealtimes a plate of food is always
saved for her if we haven't said she won't need the meal. Staff learn the resident's preferences and create a jolly atmosphere in the dining room. Sometimes everyone needs help at the same time and it can be a bit frustrating waiting. It's a shame when staff leave after a fairly short time but there is a good core of long term staff members. Newly decorated in nice calm clean manner.

Dad has only been in St George's a few weeks, but he already feels at home. Decoration throughout is very tasteful and makes it feel very homely and welcoming, all areas are clean clear and tidy. Dad's room is well laid out, he was able to bring furniture and items to make the room feel like his
own, and has a nice view over the gardens. All staff have a positive caring attitude and give dignity and respect to all. There are many daily activities and residents are encouraged to join in or watch/listen. Weekly there is the opportunity to have an appointment with the hair stylist, have a manicure or see the podiatrist. The food is great, residents are encouraged to eat in one of the dining rooms or in their rooms. The food selection is very good, and several options to choose from. There are always snacks and drinks available and the staff are always around to assist. The nursing team are there 24/7, very proficient and caring and I am always kept updated. A great place to stay.

I visited my friend for the first time in several months. I found the home to be very welcoming and friendly.
Team members were smiling and helpful, they took me to see my friend who was doing bingo.
We were able to have a private conversation in my friends room.
The room was cleaned and well
presented, we had a cup of coffee and enjoyed our time together.
I look forward to viewing again soon, I have just found out that the home has a social media account so I can follow the home and see what is happening in the home.

Our showed us the room she had and this was very light and clean, we went to the garden and met the manager and Libby the
home dog who is such a cheeky little character and friendly with a treat.
We enjoyed our visit and we are planning to go to an event later in the year. We heard that the halloween party for residents is an unmissable event and loved by all of the residents and staff.

I visit my aunt every other week. She has lived in St George for a year. It was hard making the decision to place my aunt in full time care. From the point of the Manager, assessing my aunt to today we have been supported. She guided us through the process of moving into a card home. I visited my
aunt today and it was wonderful to see her so happy and contented. She did not know I was visiting today and she looked so clean and well presented. She told me about the entertainment she had watched last week and she loves Libby the dog. Libby gives my aunt such comfort and fun. All the staff are caring and welcoming when we visit.
