We have visited our friend for nearly two years. The cake and coffee at reception is a superb touch. Todays coffee & walnut was exquisite and the best cake so far as moist, fluffy and topping delightful

This review is dedicated entirely to the angels who work in Skylark. My darling dad was a resident for six months, until his recent passing, and we were consistently blown away by the care provided by Dani, Simi, Ester, Rose, Nanita, Mimi, Victoria....and the rest of the team. Lovely Denise on
reception also deserves a mention. They do a job many would not want to do, but they do so cheerfully and compassionately. I was deeply moved by how caring they were (being so calm with my dad, telling him that they loved him when he was agitated and their tears when he passed). I genuinely don't know how they do what they do and remain so lovely. On another matter, getting in and out of the building out of hours was often a pain, more so if I was with my elderly mum, often waiting outside in the cold for 15 minutes or so with her while we waited for someone to let us in. I suggest a security guard is on the door, out of hours, to make it easier to get in and out.

The care provided for my mother, who had vascular dementia, during her 3 1/2 year stay at Longueville Court, was always excellent. Although a difficult patient at times, she was always treated with dignity and kindness. I cannot praise the staff of this home highly enough, from the reception and
admin staff, to the care staff and nurses. I would be happy to recommend this care home to anyone who needs the first class care it provides.

Mum was looked after with great care, kindness & dignity throughout her time on the skylark ward. She felt very lucky to be in Longueville Court, especially for us as her family, during her last days before her passing.
We were provided with information from the nurses on skylark and were grateful
for all of the care provided for Mum.

I have been regularly visiting our very dear family friend since she became a resident approximately 8-9 months ago. Longueville Court have literally saved her life and restored her back to health with their care, compassion and fabulous food!! I hope everyone gets to read this! I absolutely believe
this to be true and cannot thank everyone enough!
From the minute you walk in to the time you leave, everyone is caring and friendly and the home is immaculate!

I visit my friend (an ex-history teacher) twice a week. Today I joined an activity with her - a talk with pictures of Queen Victoria and life in Victorian times. The Activity Leader was dressed in Victorian clothes, she had prepared and researched carefully. She delivered and engaged the 8 residents
with interesting photos and questions. My friend really enjoyed this activity. Well done.

Cannot praise the team in Memory Lane high enough. All the staff provide excellent care for my wife as well as make me feel most welcome at all times. The unit is extremely well managed, maintained and has an excellent ambience.

The staff at the home are all outstanding. Following an extended stay in hospital my mum was discharged to the care home, with a very nasty pressure ulcer. The dedication and care that team on Skylark and within the home in general, have provided for mum since her arrival has meant that the pressure
ulcer has completely healed, which we never thought would be possible.
All the staff are always caring, friendly and helpful and genuinely take the time to get to know the residents and their family. They are happy to help in anyway they can. Many of the staff are extremely knowledgeable about different aspects of residential care etc and are pleased to help with any queries or questions you may have.
The home is spotlessly clean and the grounds and gardens delightfully maintained. The food is excellent with a wide variety of options and choices.

Super care and support for my neighbour who had a fall on the 30th December. After a stay of two-weeks in hospital with a broken hip rather than them try to manage at home, it was important to give them a little more time to recover and be cared for 24/7. The home manager was able to work with us
and often when there is a crisis, it can be very frightening and the fear of the unknown is difficult for everyone - especially the person who will be the resident.
I can't thank the manager enough in making this happen and the staff who are caring and who listen.

Barchester Longueville Court Care Home provides a friendly and welcoming environment and excellent care. Staff, from reception to nursing, are always open to questioning and provide answers to questions. Resident conditions, i.e. health and well-being, are regularly reported and updated to me.

The care, compassion and dedication of the team in caring for my mother in law during her declining health has been amazing. Without fail, every employee worked so hard to make her time comfortable and supported us every day that we visited. There is nothing but praise that we can say for the team.
Thank you all so much.

Mum came to Barchester Longueville Court Care Home in February and slowly deteriorated until her death on 17/12. During that time, I visited three times a week. Every time, all the staff were polite and helpful, I met many carers and everyone dealt with Mum in a gentle and care-filled way. I could
tell they genuinely cared for her welfare and it gave me great peace of mind that she was being so well looked after. Whether it was the cleaner, admin ladies, carer or nursing staff, the ethos set at the top filtered down to make a wonderful team. Thank you.

This home is absolutely amazing and has exceeded my expectations. From the moment you enter Barchester Longueville Court Care Home, you get the warmest greeting by everyone, especially the lovely receptionist. Refreshments are readily available for visitors and everywhere is spotlessly clean and
tidy. My dear friend's room is outstanding with a homely feel and a great view. The carers are all warm and friendly and look after their residents amazingly. Nothing is too much trouble. We have seen my friend grow in health and well-being due to their outstanding care. I would most highly recommend this home to anyone. It's truly outstanding.

Mum went in for palliative care for the last two weeks of her life. I went in every day to be with her and couldn't praise the carers and nursing staff enough. I am so pleased that we decided to use Barchester Longueville Court Care Home for palliative care instead of having her at home. Mum has
cancer and other complex needs which were all taken into account by both the nurses and carers. I was listened to and totally supported alongside Mum and given advise on what to expect. The nurses called the in-house doctor regularly when needed and were able to get immediate advise and medication. Overall, a very friendly care home.

I am taking this opportunity to comment on the care my friend (and for whom I hold POA) has been receiving at Barchester Longueville Court Care Home.
He is content and would not wish to move away. He has to be fed at every meal and the carers do this with patience. The nursing staff are mindful of
his needs and he is constantly monitored.
Whilst communication is getting increasingly difficult, he is always trying to joke with the staff who clearly have great affection for him.
For myself, I am always met with a happy smile at reception and I find the nurses and carers pleasant and easy to deal with despite their busy routines.

Everyone, including the reception staff, is so welcoming. The care the staff show on Kingfisher is amazing. Not only are they amazing with the staff but with the relatives as well. It is such a difficult time when a family member has to come into a care home but they make you feel at such ease. The
nurses and carers get to know and support us all which makes it that little bit easier. The manager is the most caring and hands-on manager, nothing is too much trouble. Carers are so passionate in their job. This is just to name a few but alll staff are amazing. Thank you for the care you provide.
