My Mother spent her last 2 months of life in Brooklands, having been moved there from hospital for end of life care.
The support she received from all staff was fabulous, both while she was still mobile and in the last 2 weeks, where she was largely bed bound. Staff were very friendly and
attentive, including the management team.
She was made to feel comfortable from day one and looked forward to chatting with staff and other residents.
I was able to visit any time of day, as often as I wanted and was made to feel welcome every day.
My overall impression of Brooklands is that it is so clean with very good facilities. I was also very impressed by the level of activities put on for residents, with a weekly timetable provided. Mum was really happy to learn that there was a hair salon on site, which she used regularly!
The care in her final days was also very good and Mum left us in a very dignified and painless way.
Thank you Brooklands for the excellent care.

Overall home is providing a very good level of care to my father, care support is excellent as is the range of activities provided. Being predominantly female oriented residency, does present some challenges to Dad however the home has made every effort to involve him and keep him stimulated.
Mobile phone signal has been an issue at times, so quality of calls between Dad and family have not been easy. He is kept well fed and watered, though the food choices do appear somewhat bland and repetitive. He does have a medical condition which dictates what he should/should not eat and drink which I would like to see the home get on top of. Otherwise all good, room is spacious and comfortable with en-suite facilities and most importantly Dad seems settled.

Extremely satisfied and pleased with the way our friend is cared for. Reception staff always welcoming and care staff exemplary.
We've had hardly any dealings with office/management staff so cannot really comment but that's ok as they're not the ones at the coalface offering the care!
Care staff
are brilliant, going out of their way to keep residents happy and next-of-kin informed of any incident or if residents are poorly in any way which is very reassuring. Thank you all

Since the price rise of £100 a month there has been a shortage of staff.
Parking is also an issue as there are not enough spaces. It needs to be addressed.
My Mother gets plenty of food and overall cleanliness is good.

Mum consistently receives excellent care at Brooklands. She has been unwell during November and the staff have made sure that she has been comfortable and cared for.
Mum enjoys the range of activities, especially the craft sessions, and also enjoys the outings. She feels that her views are listened
to, in relation to her care, and her family agree.
There have been a few minor issues with staff shortages, but the general level of care is very good. All the staff work hard to make residents and families feel welcome and included.

Since my mother's admission to Brooklands I have been impressed with the welcome and care she has received. The staff, from the management team to those doing the caring, are helpful, positive, cheerful and efficient. I feel my mother is in a safe place and being very well cared for in a highly
professional environment.

Visited my dad today at Brooklands. As always the staff were welcoming and smiling. His care team were caring and respectful to him as usual and the reception and office efficient and helpful as they always are. Dad seemed calm and rested.
The home looked wonderful with its Christmas decorations
both inside and out. The activities were well thought out and inclusive for everyone. My dad is bed bound and can't join in with most of the daily activities but he is visited frequently by staff and checked on. A very nice lady came to give him his lunch as we were leaving.

My mum was a resident of this home for a month of convalescence after a month in hospital. Right from the start the staff were friendly and caring and really went out of their way to make Mum feel at home. They reassured her that she should treat her stay as her home. She was quite poorly when
she first came, unable to stand or walk, but with their help and care after a month she was able to go back to her own home. There is a lovely atmosphere at Brooklands, and plenty of staff so there was always someone at hand to help or ask questions of. The food was lovely with plenty of choice. The activities looked varied and interesting, even though Mum only participated in a few. I cannot recommend Brooklands highly enough.

The care he received was amazing. The cleanliness, food, activitie were excellent.
This is a care home that is more like a hotel
Whenever I visited they acknowledged me & knew my name. Highly recommend Brooklands

The staff at the home, both reseptionist and caring team are always friendly and helpful. The atmosphere has always been friendly and efficient. Residents are well cared for and appear to enjoy planned activities.

My mum became a resident in January 2024. Unfortunately, she was confined to bed. The staff at Brooklands Care Home were incredibly caring, Mum, myself and other family members were treated like part of the larger Brooklands family. All of Mum's needs were met, including nursing care towards the
end.
If you're looking for a clean, well-managed, residential care home staffed by people who really care, then look no further.

Mum's been at Brooklands since 2016. I'm continually grateful we found such a lovely home for her. There's much to say about Brooklands. Standards go way beyond the usual care home when it comes to the feel of the place, the location (lovely views), activities, contemporary decor, etc. But it's the
staff that really makes it stand out. It feels like one big family. Everyone working there is kind, friendly, warm and very welcoming. Mum is very happy. Thank you all!

My mother has been a resident here for about two years. She settled in straight away, mainly because of the very friendly atmosphere and fabulous staff. She was living at home on her own and it was becoming increasingly apparent that she was having problems looking after herself because of her
short-term memory lapses. We first had carers coming in but she would only accept one lady and when she was on holiday we had a problem. So Mum came and stayed with me but that soon became difficult as we live on a first-floor flat. So the search began, we looked at several places but after a visit, Brooklands Care Home stood out from the crowd.

Since my husband entered Brooklands Care Home due to increasing problems with his dementia he has received excellent and loving care, all to an extremely high professional standard. The home is always clean and welcoming to visitors, and family are supported in what is a very difficult time. As a
family, we would not hesitate in recommending Brooklands to anyone in need of care for a friend or family member.

Lots of changes! My mum has lived here for 8 years and over the past few months there have been lots of changes. Hopefully moving forward things will settle down again, to the calm, fun, loving Brooklands we all know and love.

Treetops have been kind and compassionate in their care and are skilled at caring for residents who have dementia.
I could not have found a better place for my father. They also have been supportive of the family.

I appreciate the friendliness of all the staff and their efficiency regarding the needy residents on floor 2.
My husband likes reading but please make sure his bed is in a suitable, inclined position to make it easier.
As regards having a meal in my husband’s room (he is bed-bound), I would do it
now and again if they could be free of charge, as happens in some care homes, given the overall cost of staying in Brooklands Care Home.
There have been a few occasions when parking has been a problem.

Brooklands Care Home feels like an actual home, not a care home. All the staff are absolutely fantastic and there are lots of activities for the people who live there. The only thing I would like to see is for more people to be involved in the activities. The photos on social media usually show the
same few people. I'd like to see more done to see the others involved, more encouragement to get them involved. Apart from that one aspect, we are so happy that we found you for Mum.

The care provided appears to be excellent. All staff are extremely friendly and helpful at all times. Nothing is too much trouble. A great team! As a large family we all have been welcomed into the home and are able to visit when we wish. To have both parents in the home was our main aim and we
were able to achieve this with the help of your team. Thank you.

Lovely care home with lovely staff.
Everyone is very approachable, nice atmosphere.
They are always finding ways to keep the residents occupied, and families are always very welcome.
Visiting them makes me consider going into care work myself.
