What an amazing place for my mum's final 5 days. The love & care, that not only she was shown, but myself, and all our visitors, was outstanding. The building is very clean and welcoming, the complimentary hot drinks & cakes are a lovely touch, and scrumptious, and the gardens are something to behold. My friends and I, sometimes 3-4 of us, were offered drinks and meals throughout the day & night. We were provided with extra pillows, and sheets, and were allowed to stay during the night. I will always be thankful to all of the staff, especially the nurses, for making our dreadful experience the best it could possibly be. I would definitely recommend this lovely care home. My mum's, mum, also spent her last 10 or so years in Goodwins Hall with no complaints. 5 stars from me & my family.

The Goodwins care team took great care of my Mum for nearly four years. They are a lovely, friendly, professional team and I'd recommend them to anyone looking for residential care for a family member or loved one.

Kind and considerate staff throughout time at the care home, who were always helpful and accommodating. The staff were always on call if you needed them, and were supportive of our family after our loved one passed.

My father has received outstandingly kind patient and loving care over the past month. Everybody has treated him with kindness respect and dignity. Whenever I have asked for something for him, it has been provided! Thank you!!

Since I have been in Goodwins Hall I have been well looked after, they are all like a family to me and through thick and thin. If I have had any problems of can always come and talk to them. We also have outing during the summer.

I intend ticking 'excellent' for all of the ratings. I've had first class service at all levels sometimes, seemingly due to staff shortage, there was a wait for service, but it always came, usually promptly. Above all else the staff here are kind, an underated gift.

My mum was able to stay at Goodwins Hall with little notice. The management were very helpful, friendly and professional at all times. My mum was treated with care and dignity by all members of the team. The food is fresh and lots of variety. A lovely atmosphere and music playing most days in the reception area. An amazing choice of activities for those that want to participate and organised well.

My experience, I didn't realise there could be so many lovely all in one place, they have been truly lovely, without exception. Facilities are lovely. Thank you all.

Marked facilities down slightly for various reasons - lift often out of order. Coffee machine unreliable. All snacks cleared away lat afternoon. Otherwise, very happy. Thank you for looking after my mum.

Very friendly, everybody is brilliant. They look after me so well. The food is brilliant if I want anything they always get me what I ask for. I couldn't ask for a better place to live. My daughter sees me once a week and she says I couldn't be in a better home.

Our cousin became a permanent resident at Goodwins Hall Care Home following a period of respite care and change of personal circumstances. The transition from home life to support care has not been easy for our relative but the care and support from each individual member of staff has been exceptionally good and much appreciated.

I have just been to visit a friend and was so impressed by Goodwins Hall. It really is like a five star hotel. The staff are so lovely, - kind, caring, friendly, fun and respectful. The friend had a birthday, a beautiful cake was brought to his room and the staff gathered around and sang Happy Birthday. It meant the world to him. The care is wonderful and nothing is too much trouble. Thank you to every one of you.

So pleased my cousin has settled in so well and so quickly. She has made friends and enjoys all the entertainment. Staff are so kind, nothing is too much trouble for them.

My recently deceased mother had lived at Goodwins Hall for the last 9 years. It was a place where she felt safe and cherished, and I will always be grateful for the care she received in her final years. It gave me peace of mind knowing that she was in an environment where her needs were met with compassion, respect, and love. Thank you for giving my mum the best care.

It has been a very pleasant experience visiting Goodwins Hall. Our relative has been receiving extremely good first class care from medical to all the staff in the unit. So impressed by the level of expertise and attention they have given. We have been given up to date information at all times. Brilliant home!

Nothing but the highest praise for all who cared for Mum. All were warm, friendly, kind & caring. It was wonderful to see how much time and effort made to make Mum comfortable. Mum would always say, on our visits how content & happy she was. She also said how enjoyable the food was. Many thanks from us to all the staff.

In 2010 my father-in-law lived here, he and we loved the care given. In the early part of this century I delivered pharmacy for my son-in-law's business and again my relationships with the staff was first class. Over the last 5 years my great friend resides here and our experiences demonstrate that things never change and if anything improve.
