Both my parents were in Kingfisher since the beginning of the year. Sadly dad died in October and mum still lives there.
I cannot begin to praise all the staff enough. Everybody is always so helpful and dad received the best care at the end of his life, mum is struggling to come to terms with this
but the staff are always there for her.
When we visit we usually get tea or coffee and biscuits, the staff know us by name, it is like a big family. Our dog, Wolfie is a regular visitor too.
I have to mention the entertainment ladies, Magda and Opal, my dad adored them and they made his last months full of fun, including trips to the local pub, BBQS at the home, he had a wonderful time.
In conclusion Kingfisher home is amazing.

A lovely visit with friendly and helpful staff as always. We were treated to a party in the lounge as is usual on Wednesdays with a screening of a Christmas movie that I had not seen before and really enjoyed. We had a gorgeous hot creamy Christmas drink and an enormous helping of chocolate cake.
It was a really nice afternoon.

I am very happy with all the support and care we're getting from this place. The carers and everyone is very helpful. He is enjoying the activities very much as well.

The staff are wonderful, but at weekends they find it difficult to find help if they need it.

Whenever I have visited my dad, I have always been greeted so happily from staff. Very happy with Dad's care. He has only been here for a few weeks but has settled in well. We love going to the activities together.

I cannot fault my mum's care. She is happy, treated respectfully at all times and very entertained! There is rarely a day goes by where there isn't laughter and joy amongst all the residents. I am greeted with a smile - many offers of cups of tea/coffee and other refreshments. This matters too! I
feel this is my second home. I'm local so lucky enough to visit most days. This is not a chore - I enjoy it. If Mum is unwell there is immediate help and appropriate care. I would change nothing. Thank you.

My father moved into Kingfisher House in November 2024.
His care during his stay was excellent. The staff could not have been more caring and patient.
During his final hours they were very supportive of the family and attended in all dad's needs. I would not hesitate to recommend Kingfisher
house.

Very happy with my brothers care and attention. Being a previous nurse/manager I can see what a fantastic team you have in all aspects of the home. His medical condition has greatly improved since arriving at kingfisher care home. I can't Thankyou enough. Xx

Mum has been a resdent for 5+ years and this is testament to the excellent care, support and entertainment provided by the whole team at Kingfisher.

Dad has received excellent care since moving to Kingfisher House. The staff are friendly and attentive and tend to his every need, which is evident in how happy he is. A varied range of activities keep him engaged, led by an excellent activities co-ordinator. Communications from the home is
excellent and the manager leads his team well. Overall we are more than happy with the care experience.

The staff go above and beyond in providing care and support to Mother. The facilities are generally in good order and kept clean and tidy. The activities programme is excellent.

Mother-in-law has been a resident here for over 2 years.
The care here is wonderful. Very caring staff and great entertainment for residents. Very impressed that many staff have been here a long time. Shows they like working here. The food is plentiful and liked by residents.

The staff at Kingfisher's are excellent, with residents and family members. The activities are well received and residents are made to feel and enjoy a family atmosphere. The improvement in my Mother-in-law well being is totally outstanding since coming to Kingfisher.

My Grandad loves his new home. All the care staff have made him feel so welcomed, cared for, and part of a family! The activity team are outstanding there's always something for the residents to do you can tell there is so much thought and planning around this my Grandad loves going to the daily
activities and getting involved! Would recommend this place to anyone!
