View Full Details of Elburton Heights Care HomeThe manager of Elburton Heights went above and beyond to look after my Mum. She treated her with respect, empathy and kindness. The manager and the members of staff made time to talk to me on the phone and reassure me when I was very concerned about my Mums mental health. I am very grateful for their help during a very distressing time.
From management, admin staff, nursing staff and care staff, the care that my wife receives is very good, they are very patient and looks after my wife very well.
Very happy with care mum receives here. All staff very friendly and most of them seem well aware of mums issues + needs. Love the activities dept. staff are great lots of variety and now a new pub!
I have nothing but praise for the way my late wife was looked after at Elburton Heights. The whole organisation, staff, facilities, site including the garden, are excellent and to be well recommended.
Fantastic staff who are friendly and show genuine care for the residents, their family and friends. There are always plenty of activities available for residents should they wish to participate. The rooms are spotlessly clean and have all of the amenities that a resident could wish for. In summary this is the care home that meets all of the resident's needs in a caring and friendly manner that other care homes struggle to achieve.
ELBURTON HEIGHTS IS A FANTASTIC CARE HOME ! Every single member of staff have been outstanding in their care and consideration of our mother. We obviously were initially very concerned about choosing the correct care setting for our mum but from the first meeting and the tour of the facilities we knew immediately we were making the correct choice. What has particularly impressed us is the sense of joy and kindness that ALL members of the team display. This inclusive and caring approach extends to all residents and their family members. We were told we could visit at any time and that proved to be the case. It demonstrates how flexible and accommodating everyone is. We would not hesitate to recommend Elburton Heights to anyone.
My husband has really good care and love from all the staff! I miss him terribly but know he is in the right place. A huge thank you to all the staff! The staff are also very supportive to me and my daughter and son! I used to do the job myself and know how hard it can be but also very rewarding!
The staff are always very friendly and welcoming. I am informed by the unit manager if my husband has any health issues and the action that is being taken. Any concerns I may have are dealt with immediately. Generally, he appears quite happy. The carers are kind and considerate towards my husband and myself when I visit.
I find it very good.
I could not have been happier with the care my mum was given. The staff were exceptional and I cannot speak too highly of the place. The best thing about it was the fact you were welcome to visit your mum any time you wanted - you didn't have to pre-book as in other homes. We were told they had nothing to hide by the manager, that was very much the case as we never found anything untoward, the family was still the same. I would highly recommend this place.
My mother went into Elburton Heights in May 2023 after a fall in her previous care home left her unable to walk. After a bumpy start, she settled in really well. I can't praise the care she received enough, they were absolutely amazing with her. She wasn't the easiest to deal with, but with patience and care from the excellent staff, she was comfortable and content. When she died in November, everyone was so kind and respectful to us. I would recommend Elburton Heights to anyone who needed care.
Overall, I had a very comfortable and pleasant stay. I felt very cared for, safe, and happy during my time at Elburton Heights. However, I do feel that there is a lack of interaction between the administrators and the residents. There is also a lack of staff during meal times, which could lead to a safety issue. The food was tasty, well-prepared, and plentiful, but the menu was very limited and repetitive.
My dad has been in Elburton Heights for 2 weeks now. I have found all the staff helpful and kind to him and myself on my visits. He's looked after very well, the food is good quality, varied and lots of lovely cakes too for snacks. When looking for a home for him this was the best one and I'm 100% sure that my first impression was right for him. Nothing is too much trouble and everyone works so hard. They have great daily activities and the gardens are also very well kept. He's kept safe, clean, well fed and happy. I couldn't ask for more. Thank you everyone at Elburton Heights.
I come to visit my husband every day and am pleased with how happy he is here. They do lots of activities and everyone is really friendly.
Best place out of the three homes that I've been to. Staff are very caring and polite. I find the room a bit carmped and another chair would be good for visitors. TV remote doesn't work but my visitors can work the TV manually. Food and drink is good. Nurses are good and look after my general health. It is expensive and will take all my life savings.
Mum had been in the home since the beginning of January and we had been delighted with the care she received, all the staff were amazing. Mum loved the activities and was very settled there. Mum sadly passed away in the home on 16th March and the care and support from all the staff on that day were amazing and very heartfelt at a very sad time.
My uncle has only been there a short time and I have seen a big difference in him he is a lot happier and eating well he says the food is lovely. The staff are so nice. There is always lots going on for the residents am so happy we made the decision to move him there it's definitely one of the best.
Our first visit to see my parents. The staff are very kind, helpful and courteous. The care home is clean, tidy and well-presented. Facilities and activities are good. We joined them for a coffee morning and the cakes were delicious. An all round 10 out of 10.
Dad has been in the home since December and we are delighted with the care he has received, all the staff are lovely and genuinely very caring. The activities are great the girls go to so much effort coming up with all sorts of good ideas. Menus sound delivered and Dad said food is very good.
Very impressed with overall care from everyone here. The things that residents do are amazing. They have a better social life than me! Everyone is treated kindly and patiently, even though it must be so difficult at times! The loveliest thing is that the staff always seem happy in themselves and this translates to the residents. No one seems to get cross with them though I’ve seen some very trying behaviour. Well done to all of you and a big thank you! From the wife of the resident and dog.
