My stepmother was resident at Avon Cliff following a knee replacement for respite and enjoyed her time there and the care she received. When she needed full-time care, she had no hesitation in choosing Avon Cliff again. Her care was always excellent, but it went beyond that because the staff, from
admin, reception, entertainment, care and management were all superb, with many quickly becoming friends to her and to the rest of the family when we visited. I highly recommend Avon Cliff and thank them for all they did.

I will say in my experience that the care my mother receives at Avon Cliff from all aspects is second to none. She is always treated with kindness from the care team and everyone else she has contact with; everyone is lovely.

With my husband in residence I was looking forward spending time at Avon Cliff Nursing Home myself, while my son was abroad. All staff were helpful and caring and encouraged plenty of me time, spending lunch, supper and walks through the garden, resting to enjoy nature with my husband. I loved some
of the entertainment, attending by myself while he had a rest. Generally, I love the 'family' atmosphere, which is so welcoming at Avon Cliff.

Entering a care home at 93 must be daunting and it was for mum. The staff at Avon Cliff made mum so welcome, quickly learnt her likes and dislikes and involved her (and sometimes family members too) in everyday life there, in patient stages. She now joins in with many activities, has personalised
her room and laughs daily with staff and residents alike. We know she is well cared for, medically, diet, weight, clothing and well-being etc.

I have been at Avon Cliff for over 2 years and have been very pleased with the excellent care. The staff are very kind and helpful and if I ring for assistance there is always a prompt response.

Our mother stayed at Avon Cliff for 3 years until she died aged 96. For the whole of those 3 years she was always cared for in a kind, considerate and dignified way. The staff were unerringly helpful and cheerful and we felt very lucky that our mother was looked after so well.

I am pleased with Avon Cliff. The care, and professionalism of the managers, nursing staff, dining room staff, reception, and activity staff are 100%. Nothing is too much trouble, always on hand to help in any way. My Mum has settled into the home very well and is happy here. Would definitely
recommend it to anyone that is considering coming to a care home for respite, temporary, or permanent care.

I have been a visitor to Avon Cliff with my dog as a member of Caring Canines. I would like to say how lovely the home is and Evie and I have been made most welcome by every member of staff and the residents. It is one of the nicest places I have visited since 1992. The home is a wonderful place for
anyone in their prime to enjoy the time they have as they get older.

Dad arrived at Avon Cliff in dire need of TLC and good nursing care. He got outstanding nursing care! All his physical and emotional needs were met by highly trained nurses and doctors, reception, cleaners and catering. The food was excellent. The cleanliness of the home was excellent. The
activities on offer - brilliantly thought our. A real home in which no requests were denied, always a listener at hand and beautiful surroundings inside and in the garden. Perfect-sized rooms with toilets. The best bathing, lifting and bed, chairs etc available. Hairdresser, chiropodist, everything you could want and more!

My mother arrived at Avon Cliff in August 2023. We have been very impressed with everything at Avon Cliff. We feel staff go beyond their jobs to really care for the residents. I've seen many acts of kindness and compassion shown, not only to my mum but to other guests. It is very impressive and also
the form of knowledge that is consistent throughout the home.

My family searched high and low to find a care home for our mum. The minute we walked in, the staff were fantastic, showing us around straight away. Nothing is ever too much trouble.
My mom's care and the attention given to her has been exceptional. I am a retired nurse and know good care when I
see it.

The care and attention I receive here is second to none. The carers and medical staff are excellent. The lounge staff I class as family, bringing us all together with a mother, aunt and uncle. Management is always there for help and advice and I know I can rely on them. All staff do an excellent
