View full details of The Rosary Nursing HomeI believe the home is very well run considering the current financial limitations. The staff are With few exceptions courteous very caring and work hard under the most difficult of circumstances. The manager has always been approachable and helpful. The rooms are bright, clean and airy. The food is of a high standard, well presented and usually well received by my wife. Thank you all very much.
I find all the staff X from the manageress to receptionist to the lovely carers, kind and very helpful x anything isn't to much trouble and I can talk to them at anytime if I have to ask anything. My husband can be a little moody but they take it in their stride and get on with their jobs X a lovely place x thankyou and wishing you all a happy Christmas and a wonderful New year
The whole place looks very magical and festive . The staff looked amazing for the Xmas family dinner last Wednesday . They are so busy , yet they go above and beyond! It was so lovely for my brother and I to have a Xmas dinner with our mum . We can't thank you all enough for all you do for us and her. To know she is being cared for 24/7, when we can't do this ourselves . Is so reassuring and we are very grateful . Thank you to everyone. Merry Xmas everyone .
To anyone seeking exceptional care I cannot recommend The Rosary Nursing Home highly enough! From the moment my mum arrived, it was clear this is not just a care facility but a true home where residents are treated with true love, care and attention by every member of the staff. Even though my mum had dementia they always took the time to learn what her specific needs were even if she couldn't make it known to them herself. The facilities are clean, welcoming and designed with comfort and safety in mind, There was always activities going on throughout the day from therapy dogs, visits from the local nursery school, spa days, cooking, arts and crafts as well as themed days, the list goes on, including out door events in the summer months. The residents can take part in as much or as little they want to do, and my mum was often joined by a member of the team for a cup of tea and chat in her room if she wasn't up to joining in. Thank you to all of the staff for looking after my mum x
Mum is being well cared for and is comfortable in her room. A few minor issues have always been dealt with when addressed. Mum prefers to stay in her room as she feels safer; the lounge area makes her feel anxious. She has a lovely garden view which she enjoys looking out on to.
Mum only spent 10 months at The Rosary and whilst she was quite agitated when she first moved in, she did settle and always seemed calm and relaxed when I visited her. The staff there were lovely and genuinely caring and mum always spoke very highly of them. Although mum didn't like to socialise the communal areas were bright and welcoming and I often saw activities going on. I would like to thank everyone for taking such good care of mum during the last months of her life and for being so supportive and sympathetic at the end.
Without exception, all the staff are helpful and caring. I know that my darling is being cared for
I AM VERY PLEASED WITH THE WAY MY WIFE IS LOOKED AFTER. THE STAFF IS VERY PLESANT AND ALWAYS GREET ME WITH A SMILE.THE ROSARY ALWAYS SMELLS FRESH AND CLEAN.I HAVE NO COMPLAINTS.WHEN I HAVE ASKED THE STAFF FOR ANYTHING THEY ARE ALWAYS ACCOMADATING.
Overall I am very happy with the care and accommodation provided for my mother. Initially one activity day care provided which soon increased to two days. Mum was then admitted for respite for several weeks. Unfortunately Mum was assessed as requiring residential dementia which according to social worker The Rosary Nursing Home did not meet the criteria hence funding would not be granted. Reluctantly alternative care home was sought and found.
We thought that the dinner was very nice we had a great day, thanks, what more do you want us to say? Mum looked very good. Tell the member of staff on the front door to cheer up, very rude, looks like she didn't want to be there, everyone else was absolutely fantastic. Great day, many thanks.
I would just like to say what a wonderful afternoon my sister, auntie and I had with my lovely mum at the Christmas dinner, such lovely food and attentive staff, thank you all so much for giving us that time to have that special meal together.
We had an excellent Xmas lunch with my husband on the 11th, a lovely friendly atmosphere. Full of admiration for the staff and very much appreciate their hard work. Well done, especially to the chef and kitchen staff producing so many excellent meals!!
I cannot recommend The Rosary Nursing Home highly enough! From the moment my mum arrived, it was clear this is not just a care facility but a true home where residents are treated with dignity, kindness and respect. The staff are compassionate, attentive and always go the extra mile to ensure every resident feels comfortable and valued. They took the time to learn my mum's preferences and quirks, greatly enhancing her quality of life. The facilities are clean, welcoming and designed with comfort and safety in mind, offering everything from a beautiful garden to cosy communal areas. The meals are nutritious, delicious and tailored to dietary needs. My mum loves the meals. To anyone seeking exceptional care with dignity and joy, I wholeheartedly recommend The Rosary. A helpful tip: label all clothing, as items may get mixed up. Clip-on name tags are a great solution. Thank you to the entire team for bringing peace of mind for me and happiness to my mum's life.
The Rosary Nursing Home is lovely and friendly. They look after my mum very well and she is happy in their care. Myself and Dad had Christmas lunch today which was lovely and such a nice thing to do to be able to spend it with Mum. My family and I would like to thank the staff for all their hard work and dedication for looking after Mum.
Had an amazing day today, spent a Christmas meal today with Mum thanks to all the members of staff, another wonderful year spent again with Mum. We had a lovely Christmas meal for 2023 last year and this year, 2024, you all work very hard all year around.
Lovely Christmas lunch for the residents and family, although Mum wasn't herself today, I think she enjoyed it. She really enjoys going every week to having her hair permed/washed andblow-dried. Thank you.
The Christmas lunch was very well-organised and absolutely beautiful. Thank you so much to all involved. It was very much appreciated by myself and from the atmosphere in the dining room, it was enjoyed by everyone.
My Mum has been at The Rosary for over 12 months now and her needs are always responded to quickly and appropriately. The staff there are very helpful and friendly and nothing is too much trouble. I am so glad we, as a family, chose The Rosary for my Mum's care.
My brother has been in the Rosary for fifteen months. The standard of his care is excellent and he is well looked after by all staff there who are friendly and helpful. He enjoys his time there and joins in the activities.
The manager and her staff at The Rosary are so good with Dad and the family. We enjoy our visits very much and are made to feel very welcome and kept up to date with Dad's care. After being in a community hospital prior to the care home where he was not settled at all and acting very disturbed, he is so happy and relaxed and is getting the best of care. Thank you all for an amazing job and for keeping smiling even when in difficult situations. Also the activities programme is so wonderful and love seeing the pics of all the happy faces.
