My mother was reluctant to move to any care home facility.
However, after 4 weeks she talked about it in glowing terms. The staff! lovely and really friendly, all so helpful and kind.
The food was good and she had a serious appetite for her age.
I am so pleased we chose Avon Court it made the
last period of her life comfortable I would have every reason to recommend to others.

My mother has received excellent care at Avon Court. The liaison between the nursing staff and the GP has been proactive and very good. The quality of food is excellent - my mother has always said the meals are very good and usually clears her plate! Avon Court can show excellent attention to
detail. On my mothers birthday staff decorated her room and presented a special cake and sang "Happy Birthday". Really appreciated by her and all the family.

My brother has been at the care home now for 1 year and he tells me he is very happy. Everyone is so kind and helpful. I like to say, the BBQ was excellent and the staff worked so very hard and I think everyone enjoyed it, well done. About the car park, um?

I am able to spend quality time with my husband and know that he's being looked after and cared for well, it has given me peace of mind that he's safe.
All staff are excellent, carers, nurses & entertainment staff, cleaners.

Dad has been a resident at Avon Court since Jan 2025. It was a really worrying time for my mum and me as to whether the care would be good but I can honestly say he is in very safe hands. The staff are so kind and really care about the residents and nothing is too much trouble for them. Dad really
enjoys the music entertainment and it has a really positive effect on the dementia residents. Well done to the Entertainment Team who work really hard to keep everyone happy.

Since January 2025, my grampy has been a resident of Avon Court Care Home. The positive change in his well-being has been remarkable. The staff's friendly & attentive nature, combined with engaging activities, have significantly enhanced his quality of life. Visiting has become a joy knowing he's in
such caring hands.

Very happy that my aunt has been taken out on two trips recently. They have really cheered her up. I just want to thank the lovely lady who organises the entertainment. Keep up the good work!

I was delighted on my father's birthday. The staff put on as short notice an impromptu celebration with cake, which made his day. Very many thanks.

My nan turned 100 years old and the care home and the staff went above and beyond to help us set up the room for us to celebrate. I am beyond grateful for everyone who helped.

Throughout my brother's care, he was treated with dignity and respect by friendly cheerful staff as were we. We were kept up to date with his progress and treatment at all times. Myself and my family cannot thank all staff concerned enough for making his last days bearable.

My relative has settled well here. Conservatory seems underused, spends a lot of time on her own in her room, says she is lonely. Sometimes small of urine in the corridor. Generally has a good friendly atmosphere. The staff are always cheerful, but could do with larger name badges - easier to read!
We are generally pleased with her care.

This is my first year of witnessing the Christmas atmosphere and festivities in the home. The whole month of December has been a wonderful experience for both residents and family. Always lots going on, plenty of activities. The care my mother has received over the last few months has been nothing
short of exceptional. Mum loves it here. Thank you.

This was my first visit to my mum since she moved in over the summer. The care staff are exceptional, very kind, chatty and fun with my mum, which is very important to Mum as she is very sociable and has always had lots of friends in her life. The meals are really varied and it was nice to join Mum
in the dining room. Not a criticism but I found the meals being presented for choice a bit confusing for the residents, most of them thought it was dinner time. Mum would always be interested in as much entertainment and activities as she can get, loves karaoke.

All staff were very kind, supportive, respectful and helpful. I was so pleased to be transferred to Avon Court Care Home from hospital. Visiting hours allowed friends and family to visit and support me.

I am very pleased to see my gran settle in so well. The staff all seem very caring and attentive and went the extra mile to help us celebrate Gran's 100th birthday in style. It's very reassuring to see my gran respond so positively to the staff and I am so grateful for the care displayed.

My gran has been very happy here. Two particular members of staff have been so helpful and caring, made us feel very welcome and make our visits happy. Their efforts make Granny feel safe, and the activity schedule has been wonderful for her. Her room is kept very clean and tidy.
