View Full Details of Blossomfield GrangeAfter 17 challenging weeks in hospital and a complex diagnosis of vascular dementia, my mother-in-law's journey to finding a suitable care home felt nearly impossible. Several homes had turned her away, deeming her needs too complex to manage. That was until we discovered Blossomfield Grange. From the moment we connected with the team, we were met with compassion, professionalism, and above all, hope. Every single member of staff has been nothing short of amazing-caring, attentive, and deeply dedicated to her wellbeing. However, it was the incredible tenacity and unwavering commitment of the customer relations manager and the deputy manager that truly changed everything for us. Their tireless efforts in liaising with Social Services, assessing our loved one thoroughly, and refusing to give up made what once seemed unmanageable, possible. Without the customer relations manager and the deputy manager, we would still be battling uncertainty. Thanks to them, my mother-in-law is now in a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment that she so deserves.
My mother enjoyed her recent respite at Blossomfield Grange and she settled in very quickly. Mum said it was the best home she had been to. She particularly liked sitting in the bistro and sun lounge areas people watching! The food was good and just the right amount for her, and she loved her room. She felt the staff were very friendly and helpful. Thank you for looking after my mum so well and making her stay such a positive experience. I would have no hesitation in using Blossomfield Grange again.
We moved mom who has vascular dementia here to Blossomfield Grange in February 2025 because we had a terrible experience at her previous Carehome . It was the best decision myself and my sister made. The care mom is receiving at Blossomfield Grange is second to none all of the staff are so accommodating and caring which gives me peace of mind. I cannot fault anything it's a beautiful Carehome the renovations had just been started when mom moved here now it's almost completed it's absolutely beautiful. If you're thinking of looking at Carehomes for your loved ones l couldn't recommend Blossomfield Grange enough.
I'm very happy with Blossomfield grange it's always clean and the refurbishment makes you feel like you are in a hotel on holiday not in a care home. The care my mom receives is very thorough and she seems very happy there.
Have experienced and observed good interactions between staff and residents . Staff always seem willing to help and answer questions that are put to them, Also staff seem to show patience towards stubborn residents which are often found in Dementia and Alzheimer's residents. The home itself has recently undergone a full refurbishment and is well equipped, the rest lounge areas are very relaxing and residents are encouraged to use them.
Mum came to Blossomfield Grange after a nasty fall at home. The admission process was smooth and efficient, and she was quickly made to feel very welcome and a member of the Blossomfield Family. The staff are exceptional and go that extra mile. They all contribute to a busy happy home, the care staff, the catering staff the concierge the cleaning staff . There is an excellent programme of activities with regular outings every week which Mum really enjoyed as she got better. The food was very good, served beautifully and varied and always a good choice. Truely nothing was too much trouble and now the refurbishment of the visitor lounge and residents lounge is complete it really is a superb facility. Thank you all very much.
When the current building upgrade is completed the facilities will be 5 stars. The staff are always polite and treat residents with respect. My mother has been a resident in Blossomfield Grange for over 3 years. I am satisfied that the level of care is good, my mother remains as well as can be expected given her age and pre-existing health conditions. Some of the staff are excellent and their work and commitment is much appreciated.
Blossomfield Grange is a beautiful, happy home with lovely caring staff. My mum has lived here for several years, first in Assisted Living and now in Reminiscence. I never worry about her, I know she's being well looked after and I'm kept well informed of any changes. All the staff really understand her and know what keeps her comfortable and content.
My mother has been a resident of Blossomfield Grange since February 2025. My mom has dementia and was starting to struggle at her home, since moving to Blossomfield Grange, Moms overall health has really improved, this is down to the stimulation she gets from all the staff, the days out they have and the nutritional meals. The care staff are fabulous and she is well looked after, everybody is friendly and not only know Mom but also the rest of the family too. Blossomfield Grange has made a difficult time that little bit easier.
The staff at Blossomfield Grange always extend their warm welcome towards the relatives of their residents and visitors. You can feel this as you enter their care home! My aunt has settled quickly into their family. Despite suffering from Vascular Dementia and recovering from a hip operation only three months ago, she has made a remarkable recovery and now feels safe, comfortable and relaxed as well as feeling appreciated and loved. "They are all lovely people here!" she tells us each time we visit her. She has an older sister already living here! My husband and I were in a fortunate position of already having experienced the enormous efforts of staff supporting my mother with Alzheimer's on Blossomfield Grange's Reminiscence floor. It had been my mother's greatest wish to see her "little sister" more frequently than was possible for us to provide, whilst she was still living independently an hour away. My aunt's misfortune becomes her older sister's joy! Thank you!
I am a Power of Attorney for a friend I've known for over 50 years who is in her 80's and has no relatives. A lady who sadly now suffers with Alzheimer's. She came to Blossomfield Grange in January 2024 initially for respite care. It soon became clear she needed full time care and having experienced the quality of the care she'd received I had no hesitation in continuing her care at Blossomfield. In the past few months the care home has undertaken a major refurbishment project and what a fabulous job they have done. Great thought was obviously taken with the layout and the colour schemes used to create a very sympathetic stylish environment to meet the requirements of the many differing care needs of the residents. I have no hesitation in recommending this beautiful care home with its lovely staff to anyone looking for a great safe and friendly care home for a loved one. There is also the opportunity to personalise their rooms to help them feel more at home.
Mom has settled in well over the last year and a half considering she didn't want to move and didn't think she needed to move! The staff do their very best to keep all the residents happy and healthy and it is a very demanding job they do . So my brother and I are sure mom is in the best place for her . Mom has Alzheimer's which is a slow and difficult disease to deal with it changes the person and is emotionally draining for family. Which is why knowing she is well looked after is so important .
My mother was a resident of Blossomfield Grange on the Reminiscence Floor from July 2023 to March 2025. I live overseas but I was kept regularly informed via email and phone calls. I video called Mom on a regular basis and the carers would come over and have a chat with us, so I got to know many of them. My mom was very happy there and loved all the staff who treated her like family. The facilities are comfortable and homely with a great selection of food and Mom was fortunate to take part in some of the wonderful trips they provide. Thank you to all the staff for caring for my mom when she could no longer care for herself.
Blossomfield Grange is - A Well organised care home, with staff who have caring experience and appropriate training. There is a quiet, friendly atmosphere which gives the residents a feeling of security.
My father was admitted for 4 weeks of respite care, which was most effective and after 4 weeks father was much improved and had regained some strength back enough to desire with confidence to return back home. He has also advised that he would consider returning should he need to in the future. Thank you to all the staff.
All the care home staff were excellent and took great care of my dad while he was having a few weeks of respite care. The liaison officer was fantastic and helped make everything go without a hitch. Dad came out a lot stronger than he went in and certainly enjoyed the TLC and excellent food! Would highly recommend Blossomfield Grange.
I stayed here for 4 weeks respite. I was well looked after. The food was outstanding, good choice of food. Blossomfield Grange is highly recommended. You are made to feel welcome. All in all, I enjoyed my stay.
I should like to thank the staff at Blossomfield Grange for making my father's 100th birthday so very special. My family and I had one meeting with the events coordinator, no fuss, no bother. Everything was sorted with a minimum of fuss but with lots of love. So many of the staff, including the managers, who were in last Tuesday took the time to wish my dad 'Happy Birthday' along with many of the residents. The chef produced an amazing birthday cake and the events coordinator had arranged for Dad's favourite group to come and perform for him. This was a wonderful day for my dad and our family and I should like to thank all the staff, not just for Dad's birthday but for making his stay at the Grange so comfortable. With very best wishes.
We have put our mother into Blossomfield Garnge for four weeks respite care with a view to reviewing her long-term needs during this period. She has dementia (but also has many lucid moments) and has become physically weak due to lack of exercise, not eating properly and poor sleep patterns as a result of spending too much time in bed. It was difficult to persuade Mum to leave her home however after a few hours at Blossomfields, she was calm and accepting of the need for her to get better. This was helped hugely by the attitude and quality of the staff. Everyone made her feel welcome and treated her with a smile and respect. My sister and I visited her for the first few days along with my stepfather and Mum keeps saying how kind everyone is and how good the food is! The routine seems to be working well with the staff encouraging Mum to get up at 8.30, helping her to wash and dress and ensuring she spends time in the lounge rather than staying in her room/bed.
We visited Blossomfield Grange in February 2024 when looking for a care home for my father who was at that time in hospital and quite poorly. We were very impressed with the set-up and reserved the first room we saw! We were still shown other rooms available but stuck with our first choice. Two members of staff visited my father in hospital to assess him and what his needs would be when in the home. A couple of days later he was transferred to the home and thankfully he started his recovery with of course the help of the amazing staff. Blossomfield Grange is and will be my father's permanent residence, they really do care for all his needs. The staff (this extends to all the staff) are always smiling and welcoming, it really does make it a pleasure when visiting and we visit a lot. We have also noted that other people visiting their relatives also appear happy, there always seems to be something going on, and there is a nice vibe about this place!
