My mom has been at Parklands since last March and I have to say the care she has received has been excellent. Mom has recently been in hospital and seriously ill, on return to Parklands she was still weak, nil mobility and had lost a lot of weight, since her return she is back to walking short
distances and is almost back to her original weight, she is bright and happy. The progress she has made is testimony to the wonderful care she is receiving. All staff are friendly and approachable including management with an open door policy for relatives to discuss any aspect of their care. Thankyou to everyone on Marlborough for your time and energy and giving me my mom back after I feared the worst.

I'm very pleased with the way that my wife has been looked after. The staff are absolutely brilliant and dedicated. I'm really pleased that I chose Parklands Court, knowing I can go home and know that I'm leaving her in good hands.

My mom recently moved to this care home from residential care because she needed more nursing care. The home is lovely, bright and clean. The staff are very friendly, caring and made us feel very welcome. Thank you

My aunt was in 2 other nursing homes after she came out of hospital but neither of them were suitable for my aunt,, but parklands has is suitable for my aunt and she is happy
She likes her room and the lounge and dining area and the staff are helpful and friendly

Mom went into Parklands following a hospital admission. She went in for initial assessment of her needs.
She and ourselves were made to feel welcome from the very first day. Mom was only in the home for 9 weeks before sadly passing away. Mom could be quite difficult and challenged the staff but
they were patient and brilliant with her and I couldn't have asked them to do anymore.

My mom struggled at first going into a home but parklands soon helped to reassure her that she would be safe and well looked after the meals are really nice and some of the carers are absolutely fantastic dealing with all types dementia type illnesses would highly recommend parklands

All of the Care Team at Parklands Residential care home are amazing. Especially at Samuel House where my beautiful momma is. The Time, care and Attention they give to the Residents is the best. The care team haven't just supported my mom, they have also been a Big Support to me. Especially on days
when my mom isn't in such a good mood. A big thankyou to you all

Cannot thank the staff at Parklands enough, my uncle received excellent care whilst there.. Every member of staff was helpful and kind towards my Uncle and to all of us that visited him! Thank you so much!

The carers are really helpful and kind, always have smiles on their faces even when dealing with my husband. They have been really good to him, always being friendly and treating him with dignity.

We can't thank the staff in Collins House enough, they go above and beyond to help with anything we ask.
Very accommodating, they can't do enough for you.
The staff actually treat my dad like a friend, not like it's part of their job.
The only tiny thing we think could do better in Dad's room is
windows or patio door don't open, so when Dad needs a bit of fresh air, he doesn't really get that as he's bedbound, but apart from that, we can't fault anything else.

Each and every member of the care staff was amazing. The time they took to look after my aunt was exemplary. They showed compassion and kindness that blew me away. Even in her death, the care was still abundant.

Good staff and food. And good service and help. Rooms good and clean. Nursing staff good and helpful, in all things. If I had to stop in it would be this home. Rooms could be bigger for people in wheelchairs so they could get out of room by themselves.

The staff are the highlight of Parklands and all deserve to be paid a lot more. They are all so hardworking and caring. They look after my relative with such respect and kindness that I couldn't ask for more. His room is kept clean and tidy. He enjoys the meals and is offered seconds if he wants
more. He is dressed in clean clothes every day. We are self-funding and the fees are crippling but at least I know he is safe and well cared for. I am kept informed of any issues relating to his health, in person or by phone. To improve, I feel staffing needs to be improved further so individual staff members are able to spend more one-to-one time with residents, talking to them and sharing memories or simple activities. I think this may already be in the pipeline. More care needs to be taken with sorting clothing from the laundry as despite having every clothing item individually labelled with sew-in tapes, my relative's clothes still go missing.

Cannot fault this home, very caring & thoughtful staff and nothing is too much trouble. Meals are excellent, laundry is always done for residents. The Deputy Manager is always on hand for any problems & sorts it asap.

My husband moved here from another home. The staff go above and beyond to care, they are always willing to listen to any concerns we might have, Parklands Court are excellent in every way. The food and beverages are excellent. The laundry they do daily is always put back neat and tidy my husband has
Dementia, and they are so good to him.

Our dad has just been moved to this home, previously been in 2 before this one.
Can honestly say it’s the most loveliest of homes, we know Dad is looked after here. The staff are by far the best I have seen and can tell they genuinely care. We thought we would never find anywhere like this.

Sadly our aunt passed away in December and whilst the care she received was on the whole at a satisfactory level, there is one issue that seems endemic in this organisation that of communication. This has been brought into even sharper focus when we have not received a refund of the original deposit
we had to pay. Contractually this should have been paid within 28 days, in writing this we are at 46 days and still waiting. A newspaper ran an article in 2023 about another Advinia resident that also had issues and I have also communicated with someone that waited 5 months for a refund. You have been warned!

I am pleased to say my mother has been in Parklands Court for a while now and I am very pleased with the care and support that she is getting. All staff are very kind, caring and considerate in the care plan for my mother. I would like to thank all the staff and management for their excellent
