My wife was admitted to West Eaton in October 14th and I find everyone very friedly and helpfull. The staff allways ready to make my wife very comfortable. Nothing is too much trouble. I am glad my wife is here.

My mum has started displaying very challenging behaviour lately. The whole team remain kind, caring and professional. On Sunday her mood and the weather improved and so she was wrapped up snuggly and taken out briefly. She enjoyed herself so much and was just so happy. Also during a period of
extreme anxiety a member of staff made the effort to search out prayers specific to her religion in an effort to comfort her. I am so extremely humbled by all the staff's continued care of my of my dear mum.

My time here at West Eaton has been a rollercoaster for me. I can honestly say it has been a joy to be here. Each member of staff, from cleaner to manager, has played a part in getting me well and back to my old self. I had lost all ability to live. I wasn't taking my insulin (Type 1) or pills I
slept in a chair for over 2 years. Now I sleep in a bed and take my insulin and pills on time. All the staff each have a special give. I love having a bath with all the bubbles as I don't have one at home. I have shed a few tears and had many a cuddle. They all show true happiness and love in their jobs. They are so all dedicated to every patient even the grumpy ones. The food is like a 4 star restaurant. I love you all and thank you so much.

My mother moved to West Eaton in August 2025. It has been a joy to have her cared for professionally with courtesy, love and as one of the family. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff, and the evident ethos at the home is to make the lives of the residents as enjoyable, positive, fun,
stimulating and interesting as possible. Everyone is catered for individually and personally. The admission process was easy and straightforward with the necessary support along the way. Everyone from the kitchen up to management works as a team, and as soon as one enters West Eaton, visitors feel genuinely welcome and included. My mother particularly enjoys the beautiful garden and is taken out frequently.

My mother moved into West Eaton when she was no longer able to look after herself and stayed there until her death, aged 95. While she became increasingly immobile and her eyesight and hearing failed, she took part in the many activities the staff and volunteers put on, both inside the house and on
occasional excursions. She had her own room, light and airy, which we decorated with items from her house. She was able to watch her favourite programmes on TV in her room.
I cannot praise the staff enough for the care and understanding they gave to my mother. They were wonderful throughout: they treated her as a friend or as one of their own family. She was mentally alert right until the end, and came to see West Eaton as her home rather than just "a" home. We found the management and staff friendly, approachable, and ready to make little changes to make her life more comfortable. I have visited several care homes recently and can definitely recommend West Eaton as the very best.

My father has been at West Eaton for 14 months now. The staff are amazing. Nothing is ever too much to ask. They look after all my fathers needs, including encouraging and supporting him in the pursuit of his hobbies and interests. All the staff (management, medical, carers, housekeeping and
maintenance are so approachable and always willing to make necessary changes when requested, with immediate effect. This is a wonderful facility. We have been encouraged and supported in making my father's room his personal space. He has enjoyed and benefited from the activities and goes out on trips with staff. I can not thank the team at West Eaton enough for all their hard work and devotion.

I found West Easton to be excellent in every way. I stayed there for 7 weeks from (6.6.25 - 28.7.25) after I fell and had an operation on my femur and hip.

I have made some lovely new friends, and West Easton has been very welcoming. It's friendly and clean with lots of things to do. I only stayed for respite, but I said to my granddaughter I have loved it here, I will be sad to go home. All the staff are lovely, they aren't just carers, they treat you
like family. Thank you for the care and support I have been given here.

I was particularly impressed by the staff, who were, without exception, giving me, and others I saw, such loving care.

My mum has been extremely well looked after since her arrival in December. The nurses know all her medical needs very well and she has made some lovely friends with the staff. Mum is happy and I am so utterly thankful for all the care and attention she has been given.

My mother has recently died after five years at West Eaton. I cannot praise the staff highly enough. They combined human warmth and humour with superb care throughout her time there. They adapted to the different stages of her health (and dementia), always helping her to enjoy life as much as she
was able. Staff were always polite, calm, caring and friendly, and as a regular visitor I was always made welcome. Their different approaches to different residents was testament to their thoughtfulness and intention to do their best for every individual. I am immensely grateful to them all. The setting is wonderful. The view is lovely, the home is filled with natural and uplifting light and many residents and visitors make use of the garden.

My mother was in the care home for 10 months and was reluctant to go in there. The home catered for all her needs and she came out of her shell. During her final month there (February) they couldn't do enough for her and were very attentive and caring. They catered for any food she wanted and during
her last few days were exceptional, constantly checking on her when she was confined to bed with the utmost respect.
If I ever have to go into a home I wouldn't hesitate to go into this one.

Our friend came to West Eaton after a lengthy stay in hospital.
From the moment of his arrival the staff were kind , attentive and welcoming and had arranged his favourite beer which meant so much at the time.
Our friend was only in the home for 14 weeks but during that time he was able to
have somewhere he could call home . He loved the freshly homely cooking and had everything he needed in his room.
We can't thank the staff enough for all they did to make those 14 weeks comfortable for him. From the maintenance man to the cleaners , the cooks and nursing staff , everyone delivered outstanding care with love , compassion and dignity at all times.
We highly recommend the home from the experience we have had.

My Mother has been a resident at West Eaton for several years now and from my observations I must say that the care she has received has been of an exceptionally high standard. There is a community and homely feel to West Eaton and all the Care, Nursing, Catering and Admin staff work together to
provide a very personal service and program to the residents. The building and setting are also well suited to the residents' needs and are well maintained. Although my mother is really very frail now there is a good balance between stimulation and engagement and private time and rest. This balance is actively reviewed by the staff from time to time and communication with the family has been great.
Visits, crafts and music etc are clearly very actively planned by the staff so that options are available and suited to the needs of individual residents. In my mother's case this, I believe, has played a significant role in her comfort and contentment as her dementia has progressed.

First-class respite care for 3 weeks.

As a befriender, I visited every fortnight one of the care home residents. West Eaton has a lovely setting overlooking horses in a paddock at the back, and rolling hills at the front. The Home is immaculately clean, light, and airy, and the staff is friendly, professional, and attentive with a good
sense of humour. There are always interesting events taking place - for example, a harpist came to play one afternoon last week and which was very well received. A few weeks ago chef made some cheese scones which I tasted and were delicious!

I think West Eaton is a well-managed home where residents feel safe and contented. It feels that the staff are happy and there is a friendly caring to all. Both carers and activity staff help all the residents to become involved with the many activities which are imaginative and on offer every day.
West Eaton feels like a happy, busy, place but not too noisy. All the staff have time for everyone including visitors. The care of my husband who stays in bed is excellent both physically and emotionally. Many of the staff have known him for all the last year he has been there.

Mum has been living at Weat Eaton for 3.5 years. The home and her room are always spotless as is she. Can't speak highly enough of the care and staff. There is always plenty going on and arranged events, although often she does not engage. Walking into West Eaton is more like entering a hotel rather
than a care home. Communication from the home is always very good.

This is a wonderful care home. The care provided to my mother is excellent.
Mum is much more engaged due to the great care and activities provided.
Everyone at West Eaton is warm and friendly.
It can be really hard to have a family member in a care home but it's a huge relief to be able to trust
that the care given is of a consistently high quality.
We really couldn't ask for better.
