In the short time our new manager has been with us the difference is amazing. The staff levels rose to a sensible level, regular visits checking all is ok for the residents.
On a personal front she has removed a couple of very 24 hours a day noise disturbances, so for the first time in a long time
I can have a good night's sleep. And we can see she really cares!

Management works very hard to keep all residents happy. Complaints are listened to and any problems are resolved promptly.

I am very happy with all aspects of care provided by staff for my dear mother. My mother has been on temporary placement since February, and I am happy that this is to be extended for a few more months.

Since the new management has taken over, I've personally noticed a marked improvement in how the care home is managed and run. There is now a much more positive, organised and consistent approach throughout, which is very reassuring as a family member.
The reception staff are consistently helpful,
friendly and welcoming, making every visit a pleasant experience. It's clear they genuinely care and are always willing to assist.
The activities team are second to none. They go above and beyond to keep residents engaged, active and included, and-importantly, this is delivered with real consistency, which makes a noticeable difference to residents' wellbeing and day-to-day happiness.
Overall, the improvements have been significant, and the consistency in care and service is clear to see. I would have no hesitation in recommending this care home to others looking for a safe, caring and well-managed environment.

My daughter, in care due to extreme issues with functional neurological disorder, has received first-class care, with all staff members being caring, very friendly and efficient.
The care centre is both 'homely' and orderly, with a high standard of hygiene. We commend this care centre and the
hard-working staff.

Warm and friendly welcome. All staff and support staff treated my daughter with care and dignity. She has a very severe and unusual condition, which is difficult to treat. Everybody on the nursing and care staff and reception have been very kind and understanding.

My friend came into the care home for reablement from the hospital, and being at Wellington Hall was a godsend. We were welcomed warmly by Jodie, Kate and all the team on floor 2. I was impressed by how much choice and freedom residents have and how every member of staff interacts with each
resident. Relatives were welcomed and involved, and communication was really good. Thank you, everyone, you made a big impact and difference.

Thank you to all the staff that provided care to my Mum during her time with you. You were always respectable and sensitive to her needs. It was a difficult time for us as a family and we always felt you looked after her and kept us informed. You made her comfortable in her last few days before she
passed and were very supportive to us as a family. Her last day was sad however you ensured we were all ok and your compassion was very much appreciated. The new Manager in charge is superb and is a fantastic, hands on leader who cares very much for the residents, their family and her staff. Her door is always open. I feel with her in charge this home will go from strength to strength.

Mum and dad both spent the last part of their lives in Morris Care Centre, dad from 2021 to 2025 and mum from 2022 to 2024. The care they both received was very good. All the staff made us feel welcome whatever time of day we visited. Reception staff always engaged with the residents sitting in
reception and made us feel welcome as visitors. The staff that mum and dad saw every day, both care staff and nursing staff, always did their best for them however busy they were. We have felt at times that there has been a shortage of staff and communication about elements of care have been inconsistent but when we have voiced our concerns, we have found that we have been listened to, and action has been taken promptly. In their final days both mum and dad were treated with great care and respect with the staff always ensuring their comfort and dignity. The support of all our family in the last few days of mum and dad's lives, was exceptional.

I would give 0 stars but I can't. Wellington court. My brother was at Morris care home 15 minutes before deciding he wasn't stopping, for someone who only has a few weeks to live, you would think, he would at least be able to use the toilet, but as he's in a wheelchair he couldn't even get the
wheelchair in to the wc. the rooms are like a prison cell, to small to turn wheelchair round.
In the space of 2 hours I had seen so many issues with the lack of respect & care of patients, anyone leaving a loved one the area of Wellington court, think twice. This isn't care, it's neglect. Morris care Wellington stay away.

Recently Mum celebrated her milestone 100th birthday. Morris Care helped us to make Mum feel like the queen she is. They put on a fabulous party for her, and they welcomed a large group of family and friends, the chefs made special effort to create delicious food and cake.
Thanks to all the
staff but especially the wonderful reception team, 2nd floor careers, catering and Social Activities

welcome. The activities here are excellent, the food is amazing with lots of choices. In my opinion, the home is outstanding and I cannot praise it too highly.
