Morris Care Centre is a unique Nursing Home located on Holyhead Road in Wellington that provides high standards of specialist care. Its uniqueness comes from its three individual Courts, each dedicated to different types of care.

Wrekin Court is a Victorian building which has been refurbished to provide long and short term stays for elderly frail residents.

The centre provides spacious rooms, each furnished with the latest facilities, from pressure relief mattresses to assisted bathing facilities in specially designed bathrooms. Residents also benefit from comfortable sitting rooms and small dining areas which are conveniently located on each floor. The main dining area can be found on the ground floor and offers a delicious menu of freshly prepared meals every day. A hairdressing salon, shop and pleasant gardens are also available for residents and guests to enjoy.

Wellington Court is a purpose-built unit for the care of physically disabled residents of all ages. The home has a professional nursing team that is expertly trained and the highest standards of care are based on each individual's needs. This can be for respite and short stays or for symptom control and post-operative rehabilitation. The aim is to enable residents to become as independent as possible so they can be in control of their own lives despite their disabilities.

Ercall Court is just a short walk along Holyhead Road and provides specialist dementia care for its 11 residents. Ercall Court brings together the practical and the personal aspects of specialist dementia care in a small, bespoke residence.

I have been visiting my friend now (a service user) for over a month at the home. I have been overwhelmed with how friendly and caring the staff are. This is the staff at the help desk and the nursing and care staff. I'm really pleased on of my best friends now resides in such a caring and professional

After spending 3 weeks in a hospice,I didn't think I could get anywhere close but I actually prefer this.Dont get me wrong,in the eye,the hospice takes some beating but from day 1 here I've already been upgraded to a room with a garden which has made me up.Already got the flowers in.Overall though,I
can't fault anything.The breakfast ain't great but other than that..100%

Mum and dad both spent the last part of their lives in Morris Care Centre, dad from 2021 to 2025 and mum from 2022 to 2024. The care they both received was very good. All the staff made us feel welcome whatever time of day we visited. Reception staff always engaged with the residents sitting in reception
and made us feel welcome as visitors. The staff that mum and dad saw every day, both care staff and nursing staff, always did their best for them however busy they were. We have felt at times that there has been a shortage of staff and communication about elements of care have been inconsistent but when we have voiced our concerns, we have found that we have been listened to, and action has been taken promptly. In their final days both mum and dad were treated with great care and respect with the staff always ensuring their comfort and dignity. The support of all our family in the last few days of mum and dad's lives, was exceptional.

I would give 0 stars but I can't. Wellington court. My brother was at Morris care home 15 minutes before deciding he wasn't stopping, for someone who only has a few weeks to live, you would think, he would at least be able to use the toilet, but as he's in a wheelchair he couldn't even get the wheelchair
in to the wc. the rooms are like a prison cell, to small to turn wheelchair round.
In the space of 2 hours I had seen so many issues with the lack of respect & care of patients, anyone leaving a loved one the area of Wellington court, think twice. This isn't care, it's neglect. Morris care Wellington stay away.

Recently Mum celebrated her milestone 100th birthday. Morris Care helped us to make Mum feel like the queen she is. They put on a fabulous party for her, and they welcomed a large group of family and friends, the chefs made special effort to create delicious food and cake.

As you come into the home, you are welcomed by the lovely receptionist who is always polite, friendly and helpful, the home is clean and has a lovely homely feel to it. The care staff work very hard and are exceptionally kind and caring. Mom has a lot of visitors who are always made to feel very welcome.
The activities here are excellent, the food is amazing with lots of choices. In my opinion, the home is outstanding and I cannot praise it too highly.

Mom has been in care with you for a couple of months and she is loving it. Socially she is enjoying it and seem to have settled in well. Care team are very helpful and attentive. I would say fantastic. Room needed some maintanence but generally good sized and well presented. She loves the activities

I came to the care home in December 2023. I have had the best care from the staff, they have been brilliant. The rooms and the facilities are very good, you only got to ask the staff, they will do anything for you. It is value for money, the best place I have been in. I have been looked after better
here than the hospital. The management asks if you need anything, and they do it for you the same day.

My sister has been a resident at Morris Care Centre for ten years. She has been looked after very well over that time. The pandemic was very difficult for everyone but the staff did a very good job helping me to keep in touch with my sister, a lot of improvements have been made at Morris Care in the
last few months and this is very beneficial for everyone concerned. The care/support is excellent as is the activities staff.

My 22-year-old grandson has complex needs that have been met by Morris Care. The majority of the staff are very caring and friendly. The main areas have been decorated recently and create a lovely homely feel. The main carer for my grandson is excellent and has developed a very good relationship with
