On the whole our experience has been very positive. We have few little niggles, missing clothes, we appreciate it's a nightmare managing returning laundry, to three separate buildings. I chose to do the laundry myself. My sister in law is generally happy and well cared for. Our main desire. Her room is nicely decorated and very pleasant. A comfortable environment. The staff are lovely my sister in law loves them. The food is generally of a good standard, my sister in law often makes some unusual choices. We appreciate it's her prerogative. It often causes hilarity. Every little helps. Generally it's a thumbs up from us. Well done Chestnut Himley Mill.

My mom has just been collected from Himley Mill, after staying for 1 week's respite. She is a strong-headed woman and didn't want to go. She has had a lovely time in there. She has been very well looked after & really liked all the staff. She said they were all so very kind to her. We will definitely ask for another respite for my mom. Thank you so much Himley Mill.

My mother in law was on willow with dementia for the last months of her life the staff were always caring and friendly with family and my mother in law. Could be more activities for dementia residents that was the only fault we had .and sometimes it seemed short staffed on some days. I would recommend willow and himley mill for anyone looking for a care home.

My dad has been a resident at Himley Mill for just over 2 years, he's settled so well, which is a huge thing when he has dementia. The staff go above and beyond to help in any way. He went to RAF Casford, which he enjoyed so much. Thank you.

My mother-in-law absolutely loves being in her new home. All members of staff are caring and polite and treat all residents with respect and kindness. Couldn't think of a better place for my mother-in-law to be.

Overall the staff and carers were very kind and helpful during my husbands stay here. Keeping him as safe as possible due to a number of falls. Wish to thank the staff in Rowan who went far and beyond to care for him. Thank you all.

The care and commitment given by the staff is wonderful, and the food is edible and nutritious (I've tried it). It's lovely. Mom relies on staff for all day to day living skills and tasks, the girls there give this and more. Decoration may be a little dated but we are paying for and getting personal care for Mom not a palace. Thank you to all the hard working staff team.

The carers at Himley Mill are all wonderful, they really took care of my Auntie in the last few weeks of her life. They always made my children and family welcome and were very empathetic during a difficult time for our family.

All the staff are excellent, very caring and always take time to talk to me about my mom. What I love is the fact that all carers and nurses know about my mom and what she gets up to in the day, which is heart warming. They tend to her needs with food as she can be very fussy and know exactly what she eats. Even the cleaners, maintenance and admin staff are so friendly. I couldn't wish for a better home for my mom to be in. Miraculously, mom's walking has improved and her way of life since being at Himley Mill Care Home. Thank you everyone.

From the moment my family had contact with Himley Mill a weight was lifted from my mind it was obvious that my care was their primary objective. I have so far received excellent service.

I can't thank the staff enough, from my dad's personal care, the cleaners and activities. All have been of a high standard and also when we have visited we have always been made so welcome and looked after. My dad has passed away now but during his stay he has been looked after very well. He was in Willows/Himley Mill and I can't rate it high enough and I would recommend Himley Mill highly.

My mother was a resident at Himley Manor for the last 9 months of her life. During this period the staff provided excellent care and facilities. Himley Mill is a clean, bright, well-laid out home with easy access to lovely spacious rooms with many offering magnificent views across open countryside. The staff were exceptional providing professional care in a cheerful, helpful, friendly and diligent way. The home provides excellent food, laundry facilities etc. and entertainment and trips out to residents able to participate. Visitors are always made welcome 24 hours a day with tea/coffee/biscuits always available. This is an excellent care home - highly recommended.

My husband has been in this care home for 10 months now and I feel happy how he is cared for. I visit him every day and I am thankful to the home that I can be with him at mealtime to help him. The staff always make me welcome and are so friendly.

My parents are very well cared for by the wonderful staff in Himley Mill. All their needs are provided for and our family feel very secure with their treatment. The food is good and plentiful, the rooms comfortable and clean and the entertainment/activity manager is always organising events and activities for the residents. We are very pleased with all aspects of the home. Thank you.

The care my mother has received has been exceptional, I cannot offer my gratitude to the staff enough, they have treated my mom with the dignity and care that she has needed. Mom has been well looked after and treated as one of the family whilst she has been a resident on The Willows unit at Himley Mill Nursing Home. All my love, thanks for the support that they have given myself and my family. Thank you very much.
