View Full Details of Barchester Cubbington Mill Care HomeMy mum has been in Cubbington Mill nursing home for over six months now after having a stroke leaving her with paralysis on the right hand side of her body and minimal communication skills etc. Since arriving from a previous home and seeing little improvement she has come on leaps and bounds at the mill due to the dedication of fantastic staff on all levels, the attention to her individual needs has really helped her progress. The nursing home as a whole is exactly that, a homely environment that has a friendly feel while also maintaining high standards, I would also like to mention the food as I think it's really good quality and lots of choices, this is also an area which has improved with my mum as she had little appetite before, being only 67 and also a long term resident we as a family are so pleased to have found this nurturing, homely environment fulfilling all her needs and would recommend wholeheartedly x
My late husband was i Cubbington mill for 6 yrs , when he died I asked if I could be a volunteer. It's a marvellous home to be in. I have seen it from both sides . So caring , friendly lovely, lovely people all round . I love the place .
Staff wonderful facilities very good comfortable Days out good care excellent Food good All good Can visit at any time Nothing is too much trouble for anybody
I went in to visit my friend. The home had a lovely atmosphere and very welcoming vibe. The home in general was very clean. My friend goes to all the activities he can and enjoys it as it's mix of everything.
My father had the pleasure of a respite session here in 2019 and the care, attention and overwhelmingly friendly experience made the decision to move here as a resident, 6 years later, an easy one. The support this week has, once again, been exemplary leaving both my father + myself with peace of mind. It is very comforting to head back overseas knowing my father is extremely happy. To say goodbye this trip was easy, as he was beaming as he said "thank you so much for getting me back here". This is all down to the staff, the surroundings + constant attention to detail.
I can't explain how anxious I was when I realised my Grandmother needed respite, as soon as I knew that the staff were kind and compassionate. From the moment I rang to enquire and the support I received I know it was the place for us. The assistance with transporting her to the home, with care we received as soon as we arrived put us both at complete ease. Thank you!
I can't thank everyone enough for the care, the girls (carers) are fantastic. No Negatives what-so-ever! me and my sister see that everyone is so kind!
My dad came from a hospice to Barchester Cubbington Mill Care Home in September. Even though he was only there until the end of October when he sadly died, I cannot thank them enough. The staff will always hold a special place in my heart and eased my anxiety of him going into a care home. Even in those short weeks, I knew my dad was safe and well looked after and more importantly, I felt included and could visit anytime, even stay with him which was really important to me. There is always someone to offer you support and words of advice and comfort and I will never forget any of them. They truly are angels.
Large, pleasantly situated home on the outskirts of Leamington Spa. En-suite for room was dated and had no shower socker. Carers extremely caring and hepful.
Three weeks respite care. Well-worth stay. Excellent food and care. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Even celebrated birthday with beautiful cake, share with staff. Not expected. Bedroom rather small but kept clean etc. Difficult for working on computer.
Excellent all round. From first enquiry to working with me to ensure smooth delivery of Mum, her stay with all needs accommodated, to coming home. Came home happy and with a sparkle in her eyes. Excellent respite week.
All the staff are very pleasant and welcoming. The residents appear content and cared for.
Words to express the very high standards of service at Barchester Cubbington Mill Care Home is easy. The quality and service and the loving care that comes from every member of staff is 100%. I have no fear, only comfort that my mum is well cared for. Thank you all involved.
Since my husband came into your care he has been extremely well cared for and has all of his needs met. I feel that he is safe and has settled into his life at Cubbington Mill. I enjoy my visits daily and can spend time with my husband knowing that when I leave he is happy and in safe hands.
Every time I visit, there is a lovely atmosphere and greeted warmly by the staff. It feels like a home from home. My friend has settled in really well and is very happy with the home and staff, she always said she is well looked after and everyone is friendly. The home always looks clean and tidy and there is always someone on hand to ask if you need to check anything.
Staff are great, looked after my husband well. Said he would stay again.
I love visiting the home, you are always made welcome, cuppa tea and lunch when you require it and ordered from the receptionist. I visit my friend. I have recommended another person that I look after to visit the home for respite which at present, she is here. The staff are always helpful. The resident loves it here, might stay again. Plenty of activities for the residents to take part in and trips out on the minibus. I recommend Barchester Cubbington Mill Care Home.
Very happy with my husband's care in all areas. Staff friendly and caring on all visits.
My sister has received excellent care in this care home and would recommend it for anyone who's relative need 24-hour care.
Since my sister-in-law came to Cubbington Mill there has been a real change in her (for the better). She is eating more regularly, although she has had a couple of falls, none of which was the fault of the home or the staff, we have also noticed how well she's doing since she came here.
