My Father has improved greatly during his stay at Cubbington Mill. From being discharged from hospital, his 10 day stay at this super nursing home has allowed him to heal mentally and physically all due to the lovely environment, and fantastic efforts of the kind staff, all of them. Both Dad, and all of his family can not thank you all enough. Your hard work has been very greatly appreciated.
Thank you for your wonderful feedback. It is lovely to hear how much your father has improved during his stay at Cubbington Mill and that the care, kindness, and support from our team have made such a positive difference. I will share your kind words with the team, who will be delighted to know they have supported your father and family during this important time.
My Nan lives here and we've been really pleased with the care she receives. The staff are kind, patient and genuinely seem to care about the residents' wellbeing. Communication with family has been good and it's reassuring knowing she's somewhere safe, supported and treated with dignity. Thank you to everyone for everything you do
We are passionate about treating every resident with dignity,...
Occasionally the staff or the equipment (a hoist) are not available when required for my friend's special needs - but generally he can receive the help he needs in good time.

Although Mum's stay with you was short, the professional and caring service she received was exceptional. The cleanliness was kept to a very high standard and staff were always available to help. The dignity and compassion Mum was given far exceeded our expectations
Thank you so much for your wonderful review, we are delighted to hear such kind words about Cubbington Mill, and we are grateful for your trust and recommendation.
Glad to say the cooking skills are improving now! - Still scope to reach "excellent"
Almost all members of staff, nurses, carers, helpers are 'excellent' - Just one or two members occasionally need more training in 'attitude' and levels of compassionate service - but not a big problem.
We also appreciate your honest comments regarding attitude and compassionate service. Feedback like...
I honestly didnt want mum to go into a carehome to start with as I was unsure what to expect, when I could visit etc - now Ive been here most days, I, like mum love it! Its home from home! Mum is so happy here, and safe! She loves the activities, other residents and especially the food! Being able to join her for lunch in the dining room is incredible! I have nothing to worry about! Shes safe, happy and very well settled in (after only 3 weeks) staff are like family and I can come and go as I like, I would 100% reccomend to anyone! Thankyou Cubbington Mill! :)

A great and friendly residential home, the activities are great and the staff are all friendly, helpful and caring. It is helpful that each room has its own toilet and the staff work really hard in the mornings to get everyone washed and dressed.

Lovely care home with kind staff who genuinely care. They have supported my aunt for several years and always treat her with patience and respect. The team keep her comfortable and keep us informed, which gives our family real peace of mind.
Thank you for taking the time to review the home and the quality of care in all areas. Not only for the resident but for their loved ones too. We will share your kind words with the team.
Since arriving from a previous home and seeing little improvement she has come on leaps and bounds at the mill due to the dedication of fantastic staff on all levels, the attention to her individual needs has really helped her progress. The nursing home as a whole is exactly that, a homely environment that has a friendly feel while also maintaining high standards, I would also like to mention the food as I think it's really good quality and lots of choices, this is also an area which has improved with my mum as she had little appetite before, being only 67 and also a long term resident we as a family are so pleased to have found this nurturing, homely environment fulfilling all her needs and would recommend wholeheartedly x
Thank you for your review, we value all feedback. Thank you also for your positive comments regarding our home, team and hospitality, who work hard to deliver high standards of quality care at all times. We will pass on your feedback to the team.

I went in to visit my friend. The home had a lovely atmosphere and very welcoming vibe. The home in general was very clean. My friend goes to all the activities he can and enjoys it as it's mix of everything.
Thank you for taking the time to review our home, the cleanliness and the life enrichment.
My father had the pleasure of a respite session here in 2019 and the care, attention and overwhelmingly friendly experience made the decision to move here as a resident, 6 years later, an easy one. The support this week has, once again, been exemplary leaving both my father + myself with peace of mind. It is very comforting to head back overseas knowing my father is extremely happy. To say goodbye this trip was easy, as he was beaming as he said "thank you so much for getting me back here". This is all down to the staff, the surroundings + constant attention to detail.

I can't thank everyone enough for the care, the girls (carers) are fantastic. No Negatives what-so-ever! me and my sister see that everyone is so kind!
I can't explain how anxious I was when I realised my Grandmother needed respite, as soon as I knew that the staff were kind and compassionate. From the moment I rang to enquire and the support I received I know it was the place for us. The assistance with transporting her to the home, with care we received as soon as we arrived put us both at complete ease. Thank you!
My dad came from a hospice to Barchester Cubbington Mill Care Home in September. Even though he was only there until the end of October when he sadly died, I cannot thank them enough. The staff will always hold a special place in my heart and eased my anxiety of him going into a care home. Even in those short weeks, I knew my dad was safe and well looked after and more importantly, I felt included and could visit anytime, even stay with him which was really important to me. There is always someone to offer you support and words of advice and comfort and I will never forget any of them. They truly are angels.
Thank you for taking the time to review the home and the quality of care in all areas. We are passionate about delivering the highest standard of end of life care, not only for the resident but for their loved ones too. We will share your kind words with the team.
En-suite for room was dated and had no shower socker.
Carers extremely caring and hepful.
We appreciate all feedback received and will share with the team here at Cubbington Mill. We hope to be able to help again in the future.

Hello, my name is Jackie and I'm the Cubbington Mill administrator.

Hi, my name is Rose, and I am the activities coordinator at Cubbington Mill!
I have been working in care since I was 17 and am very passionate about my role. I am also currently studying paramedic science at Coventry University, which I thoroughly enjoy. I'm very privileged to work with the wonderful people and residents at Barchester's Cubbington Mill and hope we all make some lovely memories together!
If you would like to get involved in any of our Life Enrichment activities or have a skill or project you'd like to share with our residents.

I have been working at Cubbington Mill since 2006 after being recruited in the Philippines and completing my adaptation training in London. Now I feel as if England is my home from home. I cared for my own grandparents for many years which began my passion for caring for the elderly which I have today.

Louise is a Cubbington Mill Team Leader and trained to NVQ level 2. She assists the Nurses with the day-to-day running of the first-floor unit, including supervising and supporting care staff at all times. Louise has been caring for the residents of Cubbington Mill since 2000 and is well known amongst staff and residents alike for her big smile and bubbly personality.

Karen has worked at Cubbington Mill since the year 2000. She is trained in NVQ Level 2&3 in care. This alongside her many years of experience at Cubbington Mill means she not only delivers exceptional care to our residents but can also assist in training new carers so they can achieve the high care standards required when working for the home.

Waldemar has worked at Cubbington Mill since 2005. He is the Health & Safety Coordinator and is responsible for all aspects of the upkeep of the home. He is a "Green Leaf Champion" and in 2014, we achieved the “very good standard” award for environmental performance thanks to Waldemar’s continuous efforts to improve Cubbington Mill’s carbon footprint. Waldemar can often be found keeping our prize-winning gardens, for which we have received a gold award for the 10th consecutive year 'Leamington in Bloom'! He was also awarded Barchester's 'Maintenance Champion 2017'. When he is not decorating or busy in the gardens, he can be found driving the minibus on resident’s days out.

After 3 years of classical French training at college, including work experience at the world-famous Claridge’s Hotel in London, I have pursued a career working in high-quality hotels and restaurants, including Michelin-starred establishments, and privately owned care homes. I have a great love of baking and pride myself on preparation and presentation, coupled with great flavours and tasty foods. I am keen to provide Cubbington Mill’s lovely residents with 5-star nutritious, well-balanced meals, conversing with residents of The Days to adapt cultural preferences and dietary needs, and working closely with suppliers.

Hi, I’m Robert also known as Rob!
Rob's wealth of knowledge from his career in Housekeeping in University Halls, ensures Cubbington Mill is kept clean, tidy and presentable at all times with an extremely high standard. Rob looks forward to meeting you all and working with The Mill team!

Hi, I'm Charlie "Cheryl" I'm your new resident ambassador at Cubbington Mill! Anything you want to do or know let me know I'll do my best to rectify.
I can't wait to meet you all. So.... A little bit about me, I was a nurse ward sister for 27 years, specialising in Leukaemia in children and adults. I would like to think I am approachable kind, caring, funny and a good listener. If you aren't careful my practical jokes might catch you out so bear in mind you've been warned!
Laughter is the best medicine.

Hello I'm Peter, I'm pleased to be announced as Cubbington Mills Resident Ambassador, I know I'm perfect for the role because of the support I get from the team. I chose to move to Cubbington Mill from Southam after hearing such good reviews about the home and visiting it for myself, I knew this would be my forever home. I have a role in the day to day life at Cubbington Mill listening to residents compliments, ideas and complaints, I am also apart of the homes Food Committee

I am over the moon to be back with the Cubbington Mill Family. I have worked at Cubbington Mill previously in 2009, before starting a family of my own. I re-joined the team in 2024 after National Customer Experience Champion, Lovely Laura, departed for her new life in Australia with her family. I believe I have a wealth of knowledge in the care industry, and I portray this in my role daily as the home's Administration Assistant.
I love to support with all aspects of the home, whether this be a family matter, financial or simply a resident in need of a cup of tea, I am on hand to ensure everyone is looked after!
