Thank you for everything.
Thank you for taking the time to review the home. It is an honour when we can support residents and families in their final days. Our thoughts remain with you and the family.
My mother is also making the most of their activities programme and is never lost for company or something to do.
The whole atmosphere at the Mill is so warm and welcoming, making you feel at home the minute you walk through the door.
The only minor criticism we have is her room is a little small, but even so, we all agree that Cubbington Mill is undoubtedly the best care home our family has ever used. Congratulations and a big thank you.
Thank you so much for the pleasant review. It is our absolute pleasure to support your mother here at Cubbington Mill. We are excited that she will be returning for some more respite in October!
My mum has recently been staying on respite at Cubbington Mill. In her time there, she has received excellent care in all respects. She has thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The staff have been so lovely and welcoming to us all. They have encouraged her to take part in lots of great activities, making many new friends along the way. I'm sure she will return very soon for another respite stay. Thank you.
Thank you so much for taking the time to provide feedback about the home. We strive to deliver outstanding person centered care and look forward to welcoming your mum back to the home soon.
No fault with reception staff and a warm welcome when visiting.
Management and care staff always appear approachable and professional. We have no complaints with this care home.
Thank you for taking the time to review the home. Feedback is valued by the whole team, we strive to continuously deliver such high care standards.
The staff are very caring, and there is always a friendly greeting to visitors. The activities coordinators do a fantastic job of encouraging residents to be involved physically and with their minds. Personal tastes in food are taken care of, and the menus always look delicious. The rooms and general areas are kept clean and fresh. Having nurses on site gives peace of mind that residents’ health is under constant review. The buildings and grounds are well maintained and cared for. The rooms are a reasonable size, but it would be nice if they had a little more space. Contrary to expectations, my mother is very content to be being looked after there.
Thank you for taking the time to review our home and the care we deliver. We welcome all feedback and thrive to deliver the highest quality, person-centered care. It is our pleasure to be able to support your mother at the home.
I visited to attend to the garden outside my deceased husband's room, which I promised to maintain after his death. I was made very welcome by all the staff who knew me and by those new to the home since my husband died. I was warmly treated and offered coffee, and was pleased to chat with the staff. The atmosphere was very friendly and welcoming.
Thank you so much for such lovely comments. We build relationships with the families as well as residents, and it is lovely to remain in touch with you. Thank you for everything you do to support the home.
My stepdad has been living at Cubbington Mill for 15-months. He has always been well looked after, and my impression is of a caring team who are cheerful and have the right approach, even with sometimes difficult residents.
Thank you for your valued feedback. This will be passed on to the team, and we will continue to strive to deliver excellent care.
They were also good at supporting the rest of the family with the adjustment, especially during such a hard time with the pandemic. Overall a brilliant place.
Thank you for your kind words, we are delighted you are happy with the care we are providing for your father. He truly is part of the family! I will pass your thanks on to the rest of the team.
After a poor experience of respite for mum, we were obviously concerned about her going anywhere, but we were unable to continue caring for mum at home, so after a show around decided on Cubbington Mill. We are very pleased with all aspects of care, cleanliness, activities and catering. The staff are very good with mum and she is getting to know them and becoming familiar with her new surroundings. It was initially difficult but we are coming into our 4th week and couldn't be more pleased. Thank you, Cubbington Mill.
Thank you for your review, we value all feedback as this helps us to improve our service where required. Thank you also for your positive comments regarding our home and team who work hard to deliver high standards of quality care at all times. I will pass on your feedback to the team.
I was concerned as the home where he was staying prior was not nice at all. I needn’t have been, Cubbington Mill is top notch.
Compassion and empathy ouse from every member of staff who have given me a shoulder to cry on when things have got on top of me and helped us with the difficult transition to what is now our new way of life.
The rooms and garden are beautiful, clean and welcoming.
I have been fortunate to spend time with some of the other guests who echo what I have seen. It’s like being amongst a loving family.
I would highly recommend this care home above any others that I have visited in Warwickshire.
Thank you so much for taking the time to review us. We are so proud to be chosen to care for your loved one and welcome him to the Cubbington Mill family, working hard every day to provide the highest quality care. I will pass on your comments to the rest of the team who will be so happy to hear your wonderful feedback.
I am so happy to give a review to Cubbington Mill. My aunt enjoyed her time with you and her meals were always to her liking. All the care staff, admin people and the management were always courteous and helpful. Wishing you all a Happy Easter and God bless you all.
Thank you so much for your review, it has been a pleasure to care for your aunt and we will miss her very much. She was a huge part of our family here at Cubbington Mill, as were you. Please stay in touch and visit us when you can for coffee and cake.
I am so relieved that my husband is being looked after in this care home. Without exception, the staff are kind, caring and efficient. I cannot speak more highly of this excellent establishment.
Thank you for your kind words, we strive to deliver the highest standard person centered care. We are proud of our team and it is our pleasure to support your husband and the family.
Cubbington care home is a lovely establishment that really goes beyond its way to look after their residents. My uncle has been here for a few months now and has been treated with excellent care from the management team, care, nurses, and activities team leader. I’m very happy that my uncle is here and would definitely recommend it to other people who are looking for a place for their loved ones.
Thank you for taking the time to share your experiences and positive feedback of our home, this will be passed on to the rest of the team. We take pride in providing the highest quality care for your uncle at Cubbington Mill and will continue to do so.
The home is always so clean and the staff so friendly. I'm glad my friend chose this home as he has received nothing but excellent care since arriving for respite. I am excited to see more of the things he gets up to now he has decided to remain at Cubbington Mill where he is safe and looked after. I'm also looking forward to the activities which I can join in with!
Thank you so much for taking the time to send us your review, it will mean so much to all the team. It is wonderful to hear that you are completely happy with our care and services, thank you for entrusting us with the care of your dear friend.
I am so impressed by the team at Cubbington Mill and all that they have done for my dear friend, the whole process from enquiry to getting him settled into a Barchester home has been 5 star. They have put me at complete ease and it has been such a smooth process. I look forward to seeing how he gets on throughout the remainder of his respite period.
Thank you for this excellent feedback. We are so glad that we have been able to make this transition easier for you and your friend - your kind words will be shared with the rest of the team.
The entire team look after my dad so well and also looked after my mum so expertly until her death. I cannot fault a thing and highly recommend Cubbington Mill Care Home.
We are so proud that we share the same excellent quality of care which you have provided as a nurse throughout your career and that this is recognised. Thank you for your feedback and this will be shared with the team.
Her care was excellent. Despite being in end of life, every time we visited she had been dressed and had her hair combed, the room was spotless and if you check the charts and documentation absolutely everything was recorded in terms of her care. They allowed us to visit whenever we wanted. They kept us fully informed on her condition and we had plenty of notice of the end so that my father was able to be by her side.
I have nothing but praise for this home. We didn't get the opportunity to use many of the facilities, but they looked excellent. I often saw staff playing and spending time with residents. Whenever we were there, we were offered food and refreshment - nothing was too much trouble. Excellent all around.
Thank you so much for your lovely words. We are honoured to have cared for your mum during her time here at Cubbington Mill. I am glad to hear that you and your family felt welcomed and received the support you needed during this difficult time. Your kind feedback will be shared with the rest of the team.
Mum is well cared for and looked after at Cubbington Mill. She was struggling at home on her own, and moving to Cubbington has given her a better standard of living and dignity. She enjoys all the activities she takes part in, and especially enjoyed a recent 90th Birthday party held for her. Lots of singing! Her family are also comforted and reassured that she is being well looked after and with the best of facilities, nursing and care staff.
Thank you for sharing your kind words and the positive experience which you and your family receive. I will ensure that your feedback is passed on to the care staff. We are so glad that your mum feels at home here at Cubbington Mill; she truly is part of the family!
I was recently a volunteer at Barchester Cubbington Mill Care Home and really enjoyed my time there talking and helping residents as well as the amazing staff. I would highly recommend this as a place of care for anyone who wants to be in a caring and wonderful environment where you can be assisted and well looked after.
Thank you for your fantastic feedback! We have loved having you here volunteering with us, making such a difference to our residents. We would love to see you again in the future!
On the whole, I would say the care I received over my two weeks stay was good. The staff were kinds, caring and considerate, and the activities arranged were enjoyable for all who wanted to take part, but towards the end of my visit, I sensed some disquiet. Staff had been working very long hours I think, not disclosing anything to me, I felt some action should be taken. On my last two days, meals were very much delayed and outside staff brought in to serve in the dining room. I felt must have been some dispute between staff and management which to me was very sad because I had really enjoyed my stay. If the difficulty could be resolved amicably I would certainly cross the "likely" box.
Thank you so much for choosing Cubbington for your respite stay, it would be lovely to welcome you back in the future if you need us. I will pass all of your positive comments back to the team and our Activities coordinator. Regarding your experience on your last two days, I am sorry to hear you...

Here’s to a new chapter with a familiar face at The Mill — welcome back.

Hello, my name is Jackie and I'm the Cubbington Mill administrator.

Hi, my name is Rose, and I am the activities coordinator at Cubbington Mill!
I have been working in care since I was 17 and am very passionate about my role. I am also currently studying paramedic science at Coventry University, which I thoroughly enjoy. I'm very privileged to work with the wonderful people and residents at Barchester's Cubbington Mill and hope we all make some lovely memories together!
If you would like to get involved in any of our Life Enrichment activities or have a skill or project you'd like to share with our residents.

I have been working at Cubbington Mill since 2006 after being recruited in the Philippines and completing my adaptation training in London. Now I feel as if England is my home from home. I cared for my own grandparents for many years which began my passion for caring for the elderly which I have today.

Louise is a Cubbington Mill Team Leader and trained to NVQ level 2. She assists the Nurses with the day-to-day running of the first-floor unit, including supervising and supporting care staff at all times. Louise has been caring for the residents of Cubbington Mill since 2000 and is well known amongst staff and residents alike for her big smile and bubbly personality.

Karen has worked at Cubbington Mill since the year 2000. She is trained in NVQ Level 2&3 in care. This alongside her many years of experience at Cubbington Mill means she not only delivers exceptional care to our residents but can also assist in training new carers so they can achieve the high care standards required when working for the home.

Waldemar has worked at Cubbington Mill since 2005. He is the Health & Safety Coordinator and is responsible for all aspects of the upkeep of the home. He is a "Green Leaf Champion" and in 2014, we achieved the “very good standard” award for environmental performance thanks to Waldemar’s continuous efforts to improve Cubbington Mill’s carbon footprint. Waldemar can often be found keeping our prize-winning gardens, for which we have received a gold award for the 10th consecutive year 'Leamington in Bloom'! He was also awarded Barchester's 'Maintenance Champion 2017'. When he is not decorating or busy in the gardens, he can be found driving the minibus on resident’s days out.

After 3 years of classical French training at college, including work experience at the world-famous Claridge’s Hotel in London, I have pursued a career working in high-quality hotels and restaurants, including Michelin-starred establishments, and privately owned care homes. I have a great love of baking and pride myself on preparation and presentation, coupled with great flavours and tasty foods. I am keen to provide Cubbington Mill’s lovely residents with 5-star nutritious, well-balanced meals, conversing with residents of The Days to adapt cultural preferences and dietary needs, and working closely with suppliers.

Hi, I’m Robert also known as Rob!
Rob's wealth of knowledge from his career in Housekeeping in University Halls, ensures Cubbington Mill is kept clean, tidy and presentable at all times with an extremely high standard. Rob looks forward to meeting you all and working with The Mill team!

Hi, I'm Charlie "Cheryl" I'm your new resident ambassador at Cubbington Mill! Anything you want to do or know let me know I'll do my best to rectify.
I can't wait to meet you all. So.... A little bit about me, I was a nurse ward sister for 27 years, specialising in Leukaemia in children and adults. I would like to think I am approachable kind, caring, funny and a good listener. If you aren't careful my practical jokes might catch you out so bear in mind you've been warned!
Laughter is the best medicine.

Hello I'm Peter, I'm pleased to be announced as Cubbington Mills Resident Ambassador, I know I'm perfect for the role because of the support I get from the team. I chose to move to Cubbington Mill from Southam after hearing such good reviews about the home and visiting it for myself, I knew this would be my forever home. I have a role in the day to day life at Cubbington Mill listening to residents compliments, ideas and complaints, I am also apart of the homes Food Committee

I am over the moon to be back with the Cubbington Mill Family. I have worked at Cubbington Mill previously in 2009, before starting a family of my own. I re-joined the team in 2024 after National Customer Experience Champion, Lovely Laura, departed for her new life in Australia with her family. I believe I have a wealth of knowledge in the care industry, and I portray this in my role daily as the home's Administration Assistant.
I love to support with all aspects of the home, whether this be a family matter, financial or simply a resident in need of a cup of tea, I am on hand to ensure everyone is looked after!
