I have been treated with care, consideration and courtesy throughout my week's residence. The rooms are comfortable and the garden is delightful, even though it is November. The food is excellent.
Mum received palliative and subsequently end of life care over a brief period of time. Within that time she was treated at all times with care and dignity. The staff were supportive and showed through their efforts an admirable spirit of caring.
Cubbington Mill is a beautiful place to visit. The care is second to none and the staff are so very pleasant. I would myself come and be admitted to Cubbington Mill to finish my days in such a wonderful place.
Mum's room was comfortable and bright. The food was good and she was kept safe. Being someone who likes regularity she found the unpredictability of events difficult - often her bed remained unmade until late morning. She felt there were not enough staff. However, she was delighted with all the care and warmth which she was given. Perhaps the phone system could do with an update. It was difficult to speak to her using the home's phones. She does not use one of her own.
Great staff - very professional and welcoming. Looked after my dad with respect, warmth and made him very comfortable in his last days. Would highly recommend.
Great facilities and food.
He is loving it.
I am looking forward to my further stay here.
Relatives can easily see that their loved ones are getting the best of care and that they can continue with their lives with confidence - however, friends and relatives are made very welcome to see for themselves and share a meal if so desired.
My first impression of Cubbington Mill Care Home was very warm. Caring not only for the patients but also for family members. My brother was very well cared for by both the nursing staff and all members of the general staff. He died with dignity and I was very very happy with his care. I would certainly recommend the home.
Regular and dignified cared. Pain relief in the last days of my father's life was taken care of correctly but could have been increased more effectively at the end with less insisting on our behalf.
Dad has had a good stay at Cubbington Mill. He arrived in a very poor physical state from hospital and soon was nursed back to a good standard of health. He is cared for with respect. My only criticism is that his pain management could have been better for his end of life care.
Mum really enjoys staying at Cubbington Mill for short breaks or respite. The care she receives is second to none. The staff are incredibly kind, caring and professional. They go the extra mile to help mum feel at home. The chef created a special menu for her, the facilities are fabulous and the planned activities are wonderful. It is really reassuring to know that she is so well cared for. The residents receive the best care and attention whatever their healthcare needs. When the time comes for mum to leave home, this is where she wants to be. In the meantime, thank you for all that you do.
Wonderful care and so dignified. The nurses and staff were all excellent. Thank you for making a difficult time bearable.
Our Mum was brought to the care home because she could no longer manager at her own home. Unfortunately, she went downhill fast due to serious medical conditions. that we were not aware of at the time. We found everyone who looked after Mum caring and treated Mum with dignity.
Lovely garden especially to sit out in.
A welcoming lounge.
Rooms are a good size.
Staff were really lovely - friendly and helpful.
Would highly recommend.
The welcome was lovely and friendly as I walked into the care home, lovely staff and the manager very professional and friendly. My husband is very happy there and will use the care home as and when needed. The gardens are beautiful and I could not have chosen a nicer place.
My sister is very happy and comfortable here and the staff are wonderful.
Lovely garden to sit in. Staff always helpful. Room is a decent size with facilities.
My genuine opinion on Cubbington Mill; Excellent in all ways. Cleanliness, staff and management. All so, so, excellent.
Food was great. It was like home from home. I could not fault.

Here’s to a new chapter with a familiar face at The Mill — welcome back.

Hello, my name is Jackie and I'm the Cubbington Mill administrator.

Hi, my name is Rose, and I am the activities coordinator at Cubbington Mill!
I have been working in care since I was 17 and am very passionate about my role. I am also currently studying paramedic science at Coventry University, which I thoroughly enjoy. I'm very privileged to work with the wonderful people and residents at Barchester's Cubbington Mill and hope we all make some lovely memories together!
If you would like to get involved in any of our Life Enrichment activities or have a skill or project you'd like to share with our residents.

I have been working at Cubbington Mill since 2006 after being recruited in the Philippines and completing my adaptation training in London. Now I feel as if England is my home from home. I cared for my own grandparents for many years which began my passion for caring for the elderly which I have today.

Louise is a Cubbington Mill Team Leader and trained to NVQ level 2. She assists the Nurses with the day-to-day running of the first-floor unit, including supervising and supporting care staff at all times. Louise has been caring for the residents of Cubbington Mill since 2000 and is well known amongst staff and residents alike for her big smile and bubbly personality.

Karen has worked at Cubbington Mill since the year 2000. She is trained in NVQ Level 2&3 in care. This alongside her many years of experience at Cubbington Mill means she not only delivers exceptional care to our residents but can also assist in training new carers so they can achieve the high care standards required when working for the home.

Waldemar has worked at Cubbington Mill since 2005. He is the Health & Safety Coordinator and is responsible for all aspects of the upkeep of the home. He is a "Green Leaf Champion" and in 2014, we achieved the “very good standard” award for environmental performance thanks to Waldemar’s continuous efforts to improve Cubbington Mill’s carbon footprint. Waldemar can often be found keeping our prize-winning gardens, for which we have received a gold award for the 10th consecutive year 'Leamington in Bloom'! He was also awarded Barchester's 'Maintenance Champion 2017'. When he is not decorating or busy in the gardens, he can be found driving the minibus on resident’s days out.

After 3 years of classical French training at college, including work experience at the world-famous Claridge’s Hotel in London, I have pursued a career working in high-quality hotels and restaurants, including Michelin-starred establishments, and privately owned care homes. I have a great love of baking and pride myself on preparation and presentation, coupled with great flavours and tasty foods. I am keen to provide Cubbington Mill’s lovely residents with 5-star nutritious, well-balanced meals, conversing with residents of The Days to adapt cultural preferences and dietary needs, and working closely with suppliers.

Hi, I’m Robert also known as Rob!
Rob's wealth of knowledge from his career in Housekeeping in University Halls, ensures Cubbington Mill is kept clean, tidy and presentable at all times with an extremely high standard. Rob looks forward to meeting you all and working with The Mill team!

Hi, I'm Charlie "Cheryl" I'm your new resident ambassador at Cubbington Mill! Anything you want to do or know let me know I'll do my best to rectify.
I can't wait to meet you all. So.... A little bit about me, I was a nurse ward sister for 27 years, specialising in Leukaemia in children and adults. I would like to think I am approachable kind, caring, funny and a good listener. If you aren't careful my practical jokes might catch you out so bear in mind you've been warned!
Laughter is the best medicine.

Hello I'm Peter, I'm pleased to be announced as Cubbington Mills Resident Ambassador, I know I'm perfect for the role because of the support I get from the team. I chose to move to Cubbington Mill from Southam after hearing such good reviews about the home and visiting it for myself, I knew this would be my forever home. I have a role in the day to day life at Cubbington Mill listening to residents compliments, ideas and complaints, I am also apart of the homes Food Committee

I am over the moon to be back with the Cubbington Mill Family. I have worked at Cubbington Mill previously in 2009, before starting a family of my own. I re-joined the team in 2024 after National Customer Experience Champion, Lovely Laura, departed for her new life in Australia with her family. I believe I have a wealth of knowledge in the care industry, and I portray this in my role daily as the home's Administration Assistant.
I love to support with all aspects of the home, whether this be a family matter, financial or simply a resident in need of a cup of tea, I am on hand to ensure everyone is looked after!
