Warm & welcoming home - not 'smelly'. Lots of staff around - friendly & approachable. Good variety of food & menu options. Lots of interaction/friendly banter. Cosy room with own toilet (top-up payable) Lots of nooks & cranny's for quiet time. Open hours for family & friends to visit. Welcome to
enjoy Christmas dinner with my Dad. Message re laundry didn't get passed on. Not informed when Dad was unwell.

The staff here are all used to my mum, and her needs, they respect her choice and wishes, if any problems arise they liaise with NOK efficiently.

Springbank House would probably not compare favourably with a modern, purpose built home in terms of the facilities However, I believe few homes could possibly provide better care and attention for all the residents and often the families of the people who live there. All the staff (manager, office
staff, cooks and kitchen staff, cleaners, laundry ladies and handy men) are excellent. They all do their best to ensure the home runs smoothly and to see the residents have the best care. The activities coordinator is always busy and keeps many residents happy and occupied. An excellent home - well alone to all.

My mum has found it hard to adapt to moving into a care home but due to her mobility issues she could no longer live alone. Slowly she is accepting that she needs alot of help and support and now is taking more of a role in the home by making friends and becoming more involved.

My husband seems to have settled in well.

The care home is much improved under the new management. There has been an improvement in consultation and feedback. There has also been an improvement in the range and quality of activities.

My mother sadly passed away recently, but in the two and a half years she was at Springbank, she was cared for by very kind and professional staff. It is a warm, friendly and informal atmosphere, and the carers develop good relationships with the residents.
I remember that everyone on the
management and carer side was very good at settling Mum in when she arrived at Springbank.
My only criticism was that after a very good manager for some time, there has been quite a recent turnover of people in that role. However, during transition times, regional management has stepped in very effectively.
Everyone was particularly helpful and sensitive towards the end of Mum's time there.

The Christmas Party for the residents was wonderful; everyone enjoyed it. The staff were brilliant; they all joined in with the residents, families and friends. The buffet was very good; there was something for everyone. I enjoyed it very much, singing and dancing with everyone. All the staff worked
very hard to give the residents a wonderful time. They work very hard through the year on a daily basis in what can be a very demanding job.

Absolutely amazing Christmas party at Springbank House Care Home, residents really enjoyed it and the staff were absolutely fantastic. They all do such an amazing job and I'm happy to know that a member of my family is in their care. Well done team Springbank.

I always find the staff friendly and helpful. They take care and pay attention to my son's needs, who has Down syndrome, for which I am very grateful.

My sister is obviously very well card for in safe, warm and secure surroundings. It is a great comfort to see her so well looked after. Staff adapt her care needs as her health declines and she is checked by a doctor.

My mother went into Springbank House after leaving the hospital due to a fall at home. We are more than happy with the care she has received. The staff are very friendly and helpful and do their very best sometimes under difficult circumstances.

The staff are all brilliant, so patient and caring with the residents. They have managed the extra workload caused by Covid with cheerfulness and grace. I always feel welcome when I visit my father and know he is in the best hands.

My mother has been in the home for just a month. We are very happy with the standard of care. The food is of a very high standard and my mother is enjoying it.

Stepfather came in for three weeks respite and wasn't well enough to return home. He took to the place straight away and asked if he could stay. He's been here now nearly ten months and he's comfortable and happy. We're happy because he's being looked after very well.

It was my aunties 97th birthday and the staff organised a buffet lunch for her family and friends. The staff were very pleasant and very helpful to us all.
