Holly Tree Lodge Care Home provides a place like home for relatives and friends who can no longer be independeant at their home. Activities are many, rooms are clean, and all people are looked after respectfully and kindly.
I would recommend your home to everyone I talk to who are in a situation
where they are looking for an excellent care provider.

Holly Tree Lodge is welcoming and extremely professional. They have shown so much empathy towards my father and ourselves during his stay.
There is always plenty of staff of all levels, including nurses. We can visit at any time of day or night.
Standards are very high, and going on my own
experiences, this care home is the best in the area by far. I always feel my dad is safe and well looked after.

Holly Tree Lodge came highly recommended to us when we were seeking a respite room for my mum at very short notice. The whole experience from our very first visit to view the room(s) available and discussing everything with Sara, the lovely care home Manager, was first class and we immediately got
a great feeling about the place. On those first visits we met quite a few of the lovely staff, and it was evident that the level of care and compassion was very high. When we brought my mum in, everyone was so welcoming which immediately put her at ease - her deteriorating health situation had left mum feeling quite hesitant about leaving her home. Mum soon settled in and she has been looked after extremely well. She is now staying there permanently (due to health situation) and I cannot express enough how grateful I am that she is safe and cared for so well by a truly fantastic team and I know that she will spend her final years in such a caring and friendly environment. Thank you !

This place is truly outstanding. Professional, friendly and completely competent. A tricky topic handled by a culture of excellence. My mum who is fully competent, has been delighted with all aspects of her care.

My husband spent about 10 days here and thoroughly enjoyed it. He was treated with respect, was very happy with the staff and facilities. All the staff went over and above to make sure my husband was comfortable and safe. He had a lovely room and was taken outside to walk around the gardens and
church nearby. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. My husband and I would thoroughly recommend this care home. He is quite happy to spend time there in the future when I need a break. Many thanks. Excellent!

My grandad has been so settled since arriving at HTL, although his dementia is advancing he enjoys his food there. The chef Becky knows his usual morning order of fried egg on toast and can guess his food choices for the day!
He tells us tales of his activities and how good his sleep had been.
Despite been told about his escapee activities!
Special mention to Sheree, who had helped the organisation and planning and an ear to vent to for my mum and her siblings. Sara for putting us in touch with the right people and having a wonderful welcoming nature and Josh for being a welcoming young face and nothing is too much trouble!
Thank you for thinking of the special little extras for people of his generation. Such as handkerchiefs, and food choices and comfy chairs that fit the residents needs and memories.

Of the 7 care homes I have visited over the years this is by far the most loving, caring, helpful and very friendly. They are very involved with the visitors they listen to what you say and follow through. There is a very good activities program, and people also come from outside to entertain -
magicians, singers, music and people with all different breeds of animals. You can also join in with the activities if you wish to. It is a very happy place to be for the elderly, staff and visitors.

My husband stayed at Holly tree lodge for 2 wks restbite,leading to permanent,but couldn't stay as he kept going into people's rooms and tried to get out the home.Which I informed them he would when had a look round.This home says on its Web site it deals with complex dementia,but couldn't deal with
my husband. The deputy manager tells lies and I don't think much of the manager.Staff are supposed to be trained in dementia but couldn't deal with my husbands basic dementia needs.I would not recommend this home to anyone who has dementia. They only want people who sit in chair all day and don't walk about.

My father in law is in long term respite care and was very concerned about staying in a care home; however, Holly Tree Lodge staff & management have made his stay stress & concerns go away. All the staff are so kind and caring. (This included the kitchen, cleaning, handyman, etc).

My dad has been in respite care for a few weeks now. He has settled in well & very well cared for. All staff extremely caring. A lovely place. The events coordinator is first class & keeps everyone motivated, which would highly recommend Holly Tree Lodge. Thank you x

Mum feels really settled and takes part in the daily activities she often struggles because she has neck problems but enjoys the social side. It feels very warm and friendly when I visit often Mum can be a bit moody due to her dementia, but the staff know her so well she is fine. I always feel
relaxed when I visit or when I leave as I know Mum is cared for really well. It would be nice for her to get fresh air in the garden but the door is not always open.

My father has lived at Holly Tree Lodge for a few months. We have found all staff to be very friendly and helpful. Food is excellent, fresh, home grown and delicious. The room is comfortable, clean and tidy, light and airy. Activities are arranged daily and they try to suit everyone. We strongly

I cannot fault the care and service we have had from the initial enquiry to the moving in and all the lovely staff. I feel very happy in the knowledge that Mum is being very well cared for and is very happy.

My mom has been at Holly Tree for just over seven months. The care has been excellent, the home is well-managed. All the staff have been so kind and caring. As a family, we have been well supported and thankful in the knowledge that Mum has been well looked after. She has truly enjoyed making new
friends and joining in the fantastic activities programme each day. We would highly recommend Holly Tree, excellent five stars and more.

Couldn't thank this place any more for their services and support. They made our dad/grandad and great-grandad the most comfortable he could be whilst in the last weeks of his life. He made brilliant relationships and connections with all the staff there, they are genuinely lovely people who
couldn't do any more for him. We also thought the fact that some of the staff came to the funeral was just lovely, you could tell it's more than just a job to them. Thank you so much.

I can’t praise the staff enough for the care of my father-in-law and the support for the family. Nothing was too much for them. The home is clean and fresh-smelling. After he had a stroke the staff and management showed care and patience. Thank you.

Dad is treated with affection and respect by all staff. Since moving to Holly Tree Lodge his physical and mental health have actually improved. The activities coordinator is wonderful, warm and motivating which has made a big difference. He seems really settled and content now. The only thing we
could wish for is that he could attend the church across the road but the minister does now come to the home to give communion. We are so grateful for everything the staff do.
