The staff and manager are amazing. The manager goes above and beyond. Nothing is too much trouble for the day staff.

My mum has been at Tanglewood Horncastle for nearly 3 years and we're so grateful for the care she receives. Like many families, juggling work and other commitments often brings guilt about not visiting more, but this weekend we were able to celebrate her birthday early with all the grandchildren and great-grandchildren and it meant the world. We sang old songs in the beautiful gardens and Mum was glowing with joy. Staff brought out drinks and even said they enjoyed the music while working! Special thanks to the Lifestyle Lead, whose updates on social media of Mum smiling and joining in reassures us she's happy and well. Tanglewood isn't just a care home, it's a place filled with kindness, laughter, and love. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

The staff and reception are very accommodating when I was in a difficult situation. The care and consideration have helped to have my wife back at home. This was by encouraging her to get back on her feet after recovering from a chest infection that debilitated her.

My mum arrived on her first day in the home apprehensive and frightened. The staff were all amazing, we were met by the manager and deputy, who showed us to mum's room - we were introduced to the nurses, carers, cleaners and activities coordinator. They all came to the room to meet Mum and put her at ease. A special mention to the maintenance man, who put Mum's pictures up he was kind and considerate, and Mum said he was lovely.

The best thing, by far, about Tanglewood are the staff. They have been fantastic in caring for my mum.

I have visited many care homes over the years, and Tanglewood Care Home in Horncastle is (in my view) a cut above the rest. Great staff, great layout, great care, great food, great atmosphere...a first-class home. My partner stayed there two years ago, my brother stayed there last year, and (if I ever need to go into a care home) I would hope to stay there too. I can't recommend it highly enough. A big thank you to all the staff.

The staff at Tanglewood Horncastle are all very caring, considerate and treat all their clients with utter respect and look after each of them as if they were in a 5-star hotel. All rooms are very clean and the food is very good and there are so many activities to keep all clients amused. A credit to all staff and management at Tanglewood Horncastle.

I have been visiting Tanglewood for over 9 years, it is one of the older homes without all the glitz, cinemas, etc - which I can honestly say from experience it is not always necessary, it's the care and commitment of the staff that appealed to me. I would recommend on care, sensitivity and support and friendliness shown to residents and family. All staff across the board from maintenance to housekeeping to canteen and staff not mentioned. The social connection that residents have with each other shines through at activities and meal times. The food is very good - sponge amazing. Keep up the good work. A little update on the home - carpets etc is required.

My parents have now lived at the Horncastle Tanglewood for two years. On the 12th and 13th July 2024 the entire team helped my family and I organise and facilitate my father's 100th birthday celebrations with around 55 guests over the two days. Nothing was too much trouble, including the erection of an outdoor gazebo with seating and tables, the provision of bottled fresh water, tea and coffee facilities, and helping with the clear-up afterwards each day. All of the staff provide great care, support, and are polite and friendly. We have nothing but praise for the teams involved.

We were visiting and from the moment we stepped inside, we were greeted with smiles and helpful suggestions. We had to wait a few moments for our friend to be ready but were well looked after by staff. Our friend, although now in need of nursing care, was very complimentary about his whole experience. Tanglewood is an impressive establishment.

Mum has been a resident in one of the bungalows since April 2023. She's really happy (tells me often) and says the staff are lovely. Any issues we've had have been handled swiftly.

Absolutely brilliant all round. Cannot fault a thing. My mum is very settled, happy and safe. Rooms are so warm and cosy, kept very clean and tidy. Dining room and lounges are wonderful. Menu choice and meals are amazing. All staff are like family. Love the atmosphere here!

My father spent twelve days at Tanglewood Nursing Home, Horncastle after discharge from hospital. We were so pleased he spent his last few days here. He was treated so gently and caringly, nothing was too much trouble, the staff were fantastic. His last few days were made so special as we, as a family, could stay with him all the time and the staff looked after us so well too. So thank you, forever grateful. Can't recommend Tanglewood highly enough.

My father was only a resident for a short period of time before he sadly passed. However, the standard of was very high, from the cleanliness to the compassion given by their staff members and all staff members. I was so relieved we managed to move my father to Tanglewood for his last few weeks of life. They went above and beyond, the care home has a lovely atmosphere as soon as you walk in, home from home.

Myself and my dog are regular volunteers through a therapy dog charity. We are always greeted with friendly staff, the home is always clean and smells fresh. Many of the residents love to see the dog and eagerly wait for his visits he brings them lots of comfort. There is a plan of the week's activities in all the resident's rooms so they know what is happening each day. The residents are always clean and well cared for.

A warm and friendly environment. My aunt is very happy and safe at Tanglewood Nursing Home. Some of the staff are particularly loving and caring towards my aunt. The building environment is modern and clean where staff seem to take pride. Good management is apparent. They do listen.

I have visited many care homes over the years, and Tanglewood Care Home in Horncastle is (in my view) a cut above the rest. Great staff, great layout, great care, great food, great atmosphere...a first-class home.
