My dad has been at Abingdon Park View since April 2025. He has presented staff with many challenges, yet all the staff we have encountered have been incredibly patient and understanding. My dad relates well with the staff most of the time. The manager, Sarah, has gone above and beyond to accommodate
my dad, despite the challenges and demonstrates an in-depth understanding of his needs that we have not encountered in previous care homes.

My mum has been a resident at Abington Park View for four and a half years, and I can't imagine anywhere better for her needs. Choosing the right care home wasn't something we took lightly. We visited more than ten different places before making our decision. Abington Park View stood out from the
start. The manager, clearly explained how they care for dementia residents, putting their needs first, and we could see what a great team she had put in place. We've had absolutely no regrets about our choice. The home is run brilliantly, with plenty of activities and regular visitors coming in to keep everyone engaged. The staff truly go above and beyond. You can tell they care. Every time we visit, we're made to feel welcome, and that's much appreciated. What is vital is that they really listen. If we ever think Mum needs something or have any concerns, they take our views on board straightaway. It's such a friendly place with a real community feel. Honestly, I can't think of a better

I transferred my mum (Bernice) to APV care home after she had been in a home in Leicester & instantly realised the care & compassion was on a complete new level-the staff are extremely attentive. Sarah is extremely helpful & Mae is a great asset as she is in tune with residents, family & ensures
that everything runs smoothly. A great choice!

The facility is really good but the quality of the staff is what makes APV truly the best for my grandmother to reside. I can't speak highly enough of everyone who works at APV.
A special shout out goes to one staff in particular who really went above and beyond to accommodate every request and
more. 10/10 Thank you all very much.

My mum has been a resident of APV for almost six years. In that time, the level of care, compassion, love and spiritual support has been outstanding. As mum's condition has deteriorated we have been kept informed of her care and support to ensure that they are in accordance with both her and our
wishes. APV is a lovely, welcoming home with a fantastic and caring team.

My mum was a resident at Abington Park View for three years before she passed away last month. Trusting the welfare of a loved one to someone outside of the family is a big step and we were anxious at first but the amazing staff at Abington Park View soon put our minds at ease. Everyone is so caring
and the atmosphere is one of a home from home. Right from the start, Mum was treated as an individual with the staff wanting to know what made her happy and what her interests were - this made such a difference to her quality of life. Important days such as Mum and Dad's wedding anniversary were always marked in some way, such as Dad being invited to come and share a special meal with Mum. We always felt included in Mum's care with regular updates and the opportunity to take part in online meetings. My family and I are so grateful that Mum's final years were spent in such a caring, safe, and happy environment.

Mum was living at Abington Park View for three years before she passed away in August 2024. It was a very difficult time when it became clear that, due to the progression of Alzheimer's, it was no longer possible for us to care for Mum at home. We looked at many homes before deciding that Abington
Park View was the one where we thought she would be happiest and we were not disappointed. The care she received was second to none and it was such a comfort to know that Mum was safe, happy, and loved. We were involved in all decisions made about mum's care and always kept fully informed. Mum was treated with the utmost respect and all of the staff were friendly, loving, and caring. They do everything possible to ensure that the residents remain as active as possible and have a happy and fulfilled life. Every member of staff at Abington Park View is professional and totally dedicated to the residents they care for. We cannot thank them enough for making mum's last three years such happy ones.

My mum was a resident here for just under 3 years. We were very upset that she needed to go into a care home but almost straight we could see that this was the perfect place for her. The staff were wonderful. It really felt like walking into a family home. Mum was never in her room, except to sleep.
She was always being kept active, both mentally and physically. Staff very quickly worked out what mum loved to do (look after others) and set about making sure she could do this by safely including her in helping to tidy, serve dinner and look after the 'babies' (dolls). This was key to mum having a full and happy life. They always included us in all the social events at the home and each member of staff became friends to us as a family. We really felt they loved having mum there and when she passed away last month, the staff were visibly upset, which goes to show the level they care for their residents. We're so happy she spent her final years here, happy, safe and loved. Thank you

A great care home that I would recommend to anyone. My mum was there from October 2019 until she passed away in June 2024. The care she received was second to none from start to end. Staff are very caring and have such a positive attitude, not just to the residents but to everyone who visits the
home. Residents are treated with dignity and safety measures are implemented to suit every situation.
When my mum began to deteriorate rapidly and needed more support, this was discussed with us so we were fully involved in all decisions. The end-of-life care she received was excellent, as was the support we were given during the very hard final visits.
Overall, Abington Park View is like a home from home for those staying there and the staff are dedicated to making life interesting and keeping residents as active as possible through lots of activities, i.e. visits from a local nursery, religious services, seasonal crafts, and quizzes.

Would Abington Park View Care Home be the new home for my wife? No worries! Management and staff are a great team. A caring and homely group with a 'can do' attitude toward keeping residents safe, comfortable and content, with dignity. It's first names for staff and residents alike, rooms are kept
clean and bright. All are ensuite with safety in mind, windows only open ajar to minimise risks. Special safety mats are fitted to emit a signal to night staff to warn that the resident is treading on the mat during the dark hours. There we have it, a well run care home by a dedicated team for the benefit of residents in a safe, secure and homely atmosphere, namely the Abington Park View Care Home.
