View Full Details of Sibbertoft Manor Nursing HomeI cannot sing Sibbertoft Manor's praises enough! My mother has been in their tender, loving care for over a year and a half, and I could not be more grateful. The team's dedication, compassion, communication and enthusiasm for every resident is truly outstanding. Living abroad myself, it gives me such peace of mind to know that my mother is cared for in the best possible way - safe, happy and truly "home from home."
Caring and friendly staff. Confident that mum is receiving the very best care. I am always welcomed into the home and staff are willing to support in any way they can. Relaxed and supportive home environment.
Sibbertoft Manor is a wonderful nursing home that makes everyone feel welcome whether they are a resident or visitor. All of the staff are kind, compassionate and clearly know both their residents and visitors. I recently visited my aunt who was wonderfully looked after during her lunch by an amazing member of staff. She was treated with kindness, dignity and listened too so patiently sharing jokes and anecdotes. As part of the same visit, I attended my aunt's Care Plan Review conducted by one of the senior nursing staff. As always, this was conducted in detail with clear explanations of every facet of my aunt's care, with plenty of opportunities to ask questions, give feedback and input. A thoroughly professional experience. Sibbertoft Manor is always looking for ways to improve the care they offer my aunt, from personal elements to more general aspects like new furniture and fixtures. Sibbertoft Manor is an excellent nursing home and I can't recommend it highly enough.
Sibbertoft is a lovely place, and we are happy and relieved that my dear wife is living there. There is nowhere we would rather she was. The staff are lovely, and the management, who stay commendably close to the action, are competent and responsive and kind. Nothing is too much trouble. Oh and the fish pie is beyond belief.
Sibbertoft Manor has provided a safe, friendly and caring home for my mother-in-law for almost a year and a half. I visit at any time, the staff know me and are unfailingly courteous. Interesting activities are arranged and my mother-in-law is kept in very good health.
Sibbertoft Manor truly feels like a home - not just for its residents, but also for their families and visitors. The staff are warm, compassionate, and genuinely dedicated to getting to know each resident as an individual, with their unique story and background. Everyone is treated with dignity, kindness, and respect. They listen to the opinions of relatives and act upon suggestions. My mother, with advanced dementia, lived at Sibbertoft Manor for 18 months. It was the only place where she was seen as a person living with dementia, rather than just a set of challenges. The home is spotless, with beautiful grounds and delicious food. Staffing ratios are high with experienced staff and the advantage of a nursing home is that Mum could stay without ever having to go to hospital. In Mum's final days, the care provided by the staff - not only to her, but also to us as a family - was exceptional. We are deeply grateful and thank them all from the bottom of our hearts.
My Father came to Sibbertoft Manor following not only his wife's death but also a period of hospitalisation. His room at the Manor is always clean. He spends his time only in his room so does not participate in meals or activities with other residents. The majority of both the care team, and nursing team, are of an excellent standard with staff friendly and helpful. I can only go from my father's feedback but on occasions, he feels he must wait for a response to the busser and has also mentioned the quality of the meals and the odd disagreement with staff. The Manor is always clean, bright and has a friendly atmosphere. The staff now know I love a black coffee while I visit. I have had some excellent feedback from the Nursing Staff into how my Father is progressing with a "one to one" with a lot of empathy and explaining to assist my understanding. The home allows visits from children, allowing his great-grandchildren to visit regularly. As my Father could no longer stay at his home on his own, then I feel Sibbertoft Manor is a good/excellent place for him to be.
Our mother has been a resident at Sibbertoft Manor for over 18 months. All the staff are wonderful with both Mum and all her family. Communication is good and her needs are met with incredible understanding, patience and care. When issues or worries arise they are dealt with quickly and efficiently from the ladies in the office to management and staff on duty. I feel she is safe and so very well cared for.
My mum has been at Sibbertoft for a bit over two years and her care and social needs have changed a great deal in this time. The staff have been nothing but kind and caring and this comes from the top down with the owners very much involved on a daily basis. (Mum is always thrilled to see their grand/children and is made to feel a part of a larger family). She is treated as an individual and her past, rich life is recognised. As we all do, Mum has her favourites (staff) and this seems to be taken into account in allocating carers. Any little - or big - issues that crop up are well-documented and communicated to the family. I find the online access to her care details useful. My mum has always had very high standards when it comes to cleanliness (environment and self) and her personal appearance and we were concerned when she became a resident that, particularly, her laundry might not be up to scratch but this, too, is excellent. So, all good!
Sibbertoft Manor is clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, creating a cosy environment for everyone. The carers are amazing and always available to discuss any concerns and provide regular updates on Dad's well-being. They are helping my dad live out his final time with peace and dignity. They also are super lovely to my mum (and my sister and I) when visiting, making time for us as well as my dad. It's clear that they prioritise the health and happiness of each resident (and their families). A truly outstanding home will do exactly what Sibbertoft Manor does, they will allow visitors at any time - nothing to hide! Overall, I highly recommend Sibbertoft Manor to anyone seeking a nurturing and supportive environment for their loved ones. It's a place where dignity, respect, and love are at the forefront of care.
Our mother has been a resident at Sibbertoft Nursing Home for a couple of years. All experiences received/experienced have been excellent. All the staff are brilliant and so helpful. So many thanks.
As I live outside the UK I want the best care I can access for my mother and having seen over 5 previous homes only 2 met the standard I wanted, one of them was Sibbertoft Manor. On visiting Sibbertoft unannounced following my mother's admission I was struck by how attentive and helpful the staff were, the areas were clean and the residents were happy and well cared for. A credit to the manager and her staff at Sibbertoft. The grounds are well kept as is the Manor which is situated in a lovely quiet area. The inside is well-appointed and decorated. However it's the staff that make the difference they are happy, smile and very helpful. The care they show the residents is excellent seeing this first hand. Health and safety are prominent with risk assessments on view. The environment is very relaxed with staff reporting any accident, which to me shows this is an excellent care home with open and honest reporting, again a credit to the management. You won't be disappointed.
The care given to my aunt during her stay (11 months) until her death in May 2024 at the home, was exceptional. Every consideration was given, nothing was ever too much trouble. her every need at all times was attended to. The staff were so kind and helpful at all times, I only wish she had had a longer stay. Many thanks to the Management and Staff.
My sister has been a resident for 18 months and during this time her care has been outstanding. My sister calls Sibbertoft her home and the staff are her extended family. We are truly grateful for the love and support Sibbertoft gives my sister and us as her family.
Ever since Mum moved to Sibbertoft, her health and happiness have improved. I believe this is because of the care she receives from the staff who are kind, courteous and caring. It brings me enormous comfort to witness this. There is always a great atmosphere whenever I visit. The staff are wonderfully attentive and the management team are closely involved with all the residents.
Mum has been a resident for over a year, and I cannot speak highly enough about the whole team. Every team member is friendly and personable, and you can see their commitment to their role in everything they do. The home is spacious, clean and homely, unlike many 'corporate' style homes.
Mum is an Alzheimer's sufferer and despite this she is living her best life. All the staff put the residents at the heart of all they do. The home is clean and well looked after. Mum is always clean and dressed smartly... her dignity is considered throughout her care. The daily activities are engaging for the residents and Mum is seen smiling, which is reassuring. I highly recommend Sibbertoft Manor.
Sibbertoft Manor provided outstanding care for my mother for over three and a half years. The owner and managers run an excellent, very caring home where high standards are to be found. The staff are very caring, professional, friendly and helpful.
Sibbertoft was working under difficult conditions due to Covid during my father's time. However, the staff were always polite and accommodating and did their best in order to maintain the smooth and happy running of the home. There were always friendly and kind, although I might have liked to see more one on one time spent with the residents - difficult no doubt due to staff shortages.
Excellent. Great and caring staff. Management could be better.
