There is always a warm welcome at Guide Lane for residents and family. The staff are well trained, but more importantly they care. Dignity and empathy are important to residents, which they certainly receive. It is not easy when a loved one enters a care home, but I have been supported by staff and
management.

My mum receives the very best of care at Guide Lane Nursing Home. The care the staff provide is excellent. The staff are very caring, and the interaction with Mum is great, always having a laugh and a joke. Mum loves all this. The food is excellent, great choices. Mum has been at the care home for
three years and is fit and well all due to the personal care she gets. The home is kept very clean and tidy. As a family we could not wish for better!!

My husband and I moved in not long ago. We have settled in well. My family and friend always made feel welcome.

Dad received palliative and end of life care at Guide Lane from June 2025.
Staff and management displayed the utmost individualized care.
He was treated with dignity and respect throughout.
Family were supported emotionally through this difficult time.
We are grateful to the whole team for your
human qualities, empathy shown and professionalism.

I am the daughter of one of the residents. I am in awe of the service that my mum receives from the care home. All her needs are met, even encouragement from the staff when mum is feeling down. The food choice from the kitchen is exemplary, and my mum and other residents can change their choice if
what is offered is not to their liking. The entertainment activities are always ongoing with a variety of crafts and singers etc. I wouldn't have my mum anywhere else.

I love visiting my grandma, there is always something going on etc. Crafts, artists and learning baking skills. My grandma is well looked after.

Mum passed away last weekend, I cannot thank the staff enough for the care Mum received. Staff very professional and friendly towards residents and family. Mum was very happy there and felt cared for and safe. I would and do recommend this home. Thank you to the home manager and her wonderful team.

Anxious about my husband and family liked this home and I must admit how wonderful the staff are.
The area so kind and helpful and answer any questions I have as I am not used to the home. However, could not be more pleased.

So happy with the care Grandma receives. Grandma always has a smile on her face. Everyone is welcoming, nothing is too much trouble. Always caring.

I visited the care home to see my friend. There was a singer in the lounge. I was offered afternoon tea and refreshments. The staff were very welcoming, lovely food, the home had a lovely relaxed atmosphere.

We would like to pass our gratitude to all staff and management for the kindness, compassion and dignity in care our beautiful Mum received whilst staying here. We could not have chosen a more lovely place, our mum passed away peacefully having had the best care we could have hoped for.

Very happy with the home looking after my wife. She is always clean, happy and the staff look after her very well. This home is wonderful. The staff are incredible.

From the first day that my mother entered the home we were all greeted by friendly, caring staff. My mother settled in quickly and is happy as we are, as a family, with the overall care that she receives.
